Chapter 69: Patient
"I can't believe it," Aldric said before taking another step.
Forgot to put the key, what kind of excuse is that.
"What?" Jenny was surprised by his response.
"Aldric, I completely forgot, who would lie with such a stupid thing," she said, trying to reassure him as she followed him.
Aldric ignored her. He had no conviction about this, but there was no point in discussing it. Your next chapter is on M V L
Soon they arrived at the first floor again.
This time, Aldric saw that the three maids in this house were lined up beside the stairs to wait.
The sight of Aldric walking in front of Jenny surprised them somewhat.
It showed that he was not just a guest. After all, a guest would not walk in front of the host.
Their eyes were then drawn to the jar in his hand, which surprised them even more since they knew the jar.
Their lady only managed to buy two jars. One she took to her apartment and the other she kept in this house, and even then in her room, not in the kitchen, so you can imagine how much she treasured that coffee.
However, it was now given to this man who seemed to be ignoring their Lady judging from his hurried pace.
As he passed by the maids, Aldric did not slow his pace.
He continued walking towards the door, completely determined to leave. If Jenny hadn't escorted him, he would have walked.
Of course, she didn't dare make him leave on foot.
She continued to follow all the way to the car.
The car soon rolled out onto the road with Jenny driving it sometimes seeming to regret something.
"What do you think if I completely retreat from the entertainment industry and then live the life of an ordinary woman?" she said on the way.
"What?" Aldric instantly showed an expression like he couldn't believe what he had just heard.
"Wouldn't you be comfortable if I wasn't a famous singer?" she continued, looking at him.
Indeed, if she were not a famous woman, Aldric might not have any objections to her at all. He no longer needed to bother looking for a wife because there was already a very beautiful woman who was willing to be his wife.
However, he certainly did not want to be the cause of a woman throwing away her career.
"No, no..." He shook his head. "You can't do that," he said.
"But you don't give me hope," she replied.
"Aldric, we are adults, there are desires that will drive us crazy if we cannot fulfill them. Do you want me to go crazy because I want you but can't get you?"
Aldric, "..."
"Jenny, you have to be patient," he said spontaneously because he couldn't think of any more words.
Why was he asking her to be patient?
Be patient for what?
Even he himself wondered about that.
"Sure, sure I'll be patient, but don't make me wait too long." Jenny immediately responded with a bright expression.
In the end, she came to a conclusion first. But what else do his words mean than that?
"Yes, wait for me to finish college, earn money until I'm rich so that I can make you a docile woman. Then after that, I'll meet your mom to propose to you." Aldric could no longer think, so he continued with nonsense.
If she really wanted to wait, she naturally had to wait for all that first.
In a short time, her bright expression turned into a frozen expression.
"Aldric..." She said his name in a rather high tone.
It was obvious that she was angry if she had to wait until he finished college and became rich.
"I have enough of you now," she said.
"But I'm not enough."
"You?"
Jenny finally fell silent after that, realizing that she was struggling to argue now.
Fortunately, he gave her hope and was more open to accepting it, so she was calmer.
She thought there was plenty of opportunity to accelerate their relationship to a newer level.
Thinking that, her expression brightened again.
She occasionally looked at him with a deep smile, a smile that could make any man helpless.
Even if Aldric was full of idealism, seeing her smile gave him the sensation that his heart could explode at any moment.
Unfortunately, there was no denying that she was a very beautiful woman.
Her beauty was so perfect that it made it difficult for men to replace flaws.
One forgets some of her vices when he sees her beauty.
This is the reason most celebrities remain loved despite the various scandals in their lives. People can't escape their charm.
And Jenny, so far, doesn't have any bad scandals.
She's just a snob behind the scenes.
For some, the emergence of such a trait in someone who experiences success cannot be entirely blamed.
There are too many factors that cause it to emerge, whether it's out of self-respect because the struggle to succeed is full of obstacles to humiliation or a way to protect themselves against the various evils that target them.
Not long after, Jenny's car finally arrived near the university. She stopped it on the side of the road.
Just as he was about to get off, she suddenly grabbed his hand.
One touch, and he was almost trembling.
The woman smiled faintly at his reaction.
"If I really seduce you seriously, it seems like you won't be able to stand it. You might even go crazy," she said, making him roll his eyes, pulling his hand from hers.
"Don't worry, I'll wait until you take the initiative yourself," she continued softly as he got out of the car.
After getting out of the car, he left with hasty steps to the university.
Jenny smiled endlessly at the sight of him walking so fast.
For the next class, Aldric could not study quietly.
No matter how he tried to calm himself down, various imaginations popped up in his head that he couldn't control.
His body felt uncomfortable that he wanted to do something dirty. However, he always viewed it as a dishonorable act. He never did it.
After returning to his dormitory, he immediately logged back into Magician Online.
He needed to do something to calm down, not just sit around.
