A Mistake Mate
Chapter 41

"Who slow down speedy." He joked as he grabbed my hand and tugged me to his hand. I blushed lightly before laughing.

"Im just excited." I answered. We made our way inside the rink and Xander paid for our skates. He led me to a bench and helped me lace my skates up, seeing as Id never done it before.

We slowly approached the door that would lead us to the ice when I suddenly began to feel nervous. I tugged on Xanders hand and he came to a stop next to me.

"What is it?" He asked looking down at me worridly. I gulped and looked down at my feet.

"What if I fall?" I questioned quietly. Xander let out a belly rumbling laugh that made butterflies erupt in my stomach before pulling me into his chest.

"You'll be fine because if you fall I'll be right there to catch you angel." He whispered reassuringly as he kissed the top of my head. I sighed happily before I let him take my hand and lead me onto the ice. I was a bit wobbly on my feet at first but eventually I got the hang of it and I was able to let go of Xanders hand.

I slowly skated forward before doing a small spin and turning around to face Xander who was a few feet away from me.

"Look! I've got it!" I exclaimed with a large smile. Xander returned the smile but I suddenly lost my balance and started wobbling on my skates. I knew that I was going to go down and apparently so did Xander because he was at my side in an instant and he grabbed my waist right before I fell but this only resulted in us both going down.

Xander flipped us right before we hit the ground so I was lying on top of him. After getting over the initial shock a loud laugh escaped my lips followed by many more. I felt Xander laughing underneath me and I rested my head on his best because my sides were beginning to hurt.

When I regained my breath I raised my head and look down at Xander who was looking at me with a tender smile. My breath caught in my throat as he slowly leaned up towards me and I quickly closed the distance between us, placing my lips on his. Our lips moved in perfect harmony and Im sure that Xander could feel my heart beating wildly against his chest.

Our lips only broke apart when somebody in the skate rink yelled for us to 'get a room'. I quickly pulled away and I could feel thwarting bright ref blush that was surely on my face. Xander only laughed while I hid my face in his chest.

Xander and I walked hand in hand through the dark forest, the tall trees above us only let small bits of the light from the moon shine through but it was a beautiful sight none the less.

After we had left the skating rink Xander took me to a cute little restraunt in the outskirts of town where we had lots of fun and eventually ended up getting kicked out of because we were causing to much of a rucas.

That's how we ended up here, walking hand and hand through the forest towards a place that Xander wanted to show me. I placed myself closer to Xanders side as

a slight breeze blew by, leaving me slightly chilled. Xander suddenly pulled me to a stop and I had been so caught up with looking at the sky that I didn't notice the beautiful sight before me.

We were standing on a high cliff that was heavily covered in tall grass. There was a perfect view of the bright moon above us and better yet it looked out over our large town.

"This is beautiful Xander." I said honestly as I looked up at my mate. Xander smiled at me before leading me through the tall grass and stopping at a spot that looked like it was laid in often because there was a large flattened area. He plopped down onto the ground before bringing me down with him, setting me in his lap.

"This is where I come to think." He admitted, looking out over the city. We sat in silence for a moment before I looked up at Xander to see that he was already looking down at me. I tilted my head up and fluttered my eyes closed as felt Xanders lips gently touched mine.

The kiss started off slow and sweet but it slowly morphed into a passionate kiss. Our lips moved together hungrily and I felt my self being laid down on the soft grass. I tangled my hands in Xanders hair and gave it a soft tug which earned me a soft groan from him. I felt one of Xanders hands softly caress my exposed thigh while the other one went behind my neck, pulling me closer to him.

I pulled away so I could regain my breath so Xander trailed feather soft kisses all the way across my jaw, he then moved on to my neck where he began to suck and nip. A soft moan left my lips and Xander growled lowly before I felt his lips at the base of my neck. A surprised gasp escaped my mouth as I felt his teeth graze my skin before I suddenly felt Xanders sharp canines sink into my flesh.
