A Mistake Mate
Chapter 80

Though it has only been a week my wolf and I both have been missing Xander a lot. It has been two years since Xander graduated from high school and we completed the mating process. Things have gone extremely smooth ever since that time and Xander and I have had no more bumps in our relationship.

Three months ago, on my nineteenth birthday, Xander proposed to me. He had taken me out for a nice dinner and then afterwards we had gone back to the beach house, were he had popped the question. I had immediately said yes and since then we have been busy planning our beachside wedding, which is going to take place in four months after I'm out of college for the summer.

Perrie is also attending my college. She is studying in the art of fashion and design and I couldn't be more grateful to have a familiar face around this big place. Perrie and Blake completed the mating process shortly after they met and then they swiftly stole away to Las Vegas to get eloped. Lela and I had been slightly mad when they had come back married because they hadn't even invited any of us but we quickly got over it.

Lela and Seth have yet to walk the isle but last November they had popped out a healthy eight pound baby boy. They had named my first nephew Ethan Ray Heart. Ethan is now a happy and bubbly three month old and he is the sun shine of their world.

Cole and Dylan on the other hand are still the charming play boys that they were in high school. Neither of them have found their mates yet and though they refuse to admit it I can tell that they are getting anxious to replace them.

The last two years has been good for everybody, including the pack. Xander and I struggled a bit when we first took over the pack but after a few months we got the hang of it and things have been running smoothly since then. Two weeks after we took over mine and Xander's parents decided that they were going to take a vacation, a vacation around the world.

They were gone for five months. They called of course but they weren't here to help Xander and I out, but maybe it was better that way because we figured things out on our own.

Suddenly the loud sound of the late bell rang out and I let out a frustrated sigh. I clenched my fist and looked towards the entree door, I was literally only a few feet away. No longer feeling the need to hurry I sluggishly made my way towards the door, only stopping when a voice rang out through the now quiet area.

"Your late." The voice stated. I was angry when I first heard it but then I actually recognized who the voice belonged to. I spun around with a huge smile on my face before rushing towards my mate.

I quickly closed the distance between us and threw myself into Xander's awaiting arms. It had only been a week since I had last seen him but it felt like an eternity and as soon as I was in his arms all of the tension drained out of my body.

Though I have been with Xander for two and a half years now he still managed to make me feel like I did when I was sixteen. I tightened my arms around his neck and wrapped my legs around his waist, happy when he hoisted me up higher. I stuck my nose in the crook of his neck and breathed in his reassuring smell.

The mating process strengthens the bond between mates and thought we hadn't

been apart for long our wolves longed for each other and whined constantly.

"Hey angel." Xander's husky voice breathed into my ear. I grinned and pulled back to look at his handsome face. Xander had only changed. slightly since he was eighteen and now at the age of twenty one his jawline was slightly more defined, if possible, his dark hair was a few inches longer and his body was even more defined then it used to be. Xander no longer looked like a teenage boy, he now looked like a man.

"Hey fiancee.answered with a grin, my eyes going to the beautiful ring on my left finger. Xander also

grinned largely. My legs had nown et

been placed on the ground but my arms were still tightly woven around Xander's neck, my fingers playing with the hair at the nape of his neck.

"I missed you." Xander said randomly. I gave him a small smile and rested my chin on his chest, so that I was looking up at him.

"I know, I missed you to. I have just been so flooded with homework and studying that I just couldn't replace the energy to make the drive back. Speaking of the drive, what are you doing here?" I questioned. Xander tucked a stray price of hair behind my ear and smiled.

"I needed to see you and by the looks of it you really need a break." He stated. I know that I don't look my best and stress is to blame for that. I shrugged.

"So lets go. Your going out with me and your going to relieve some stress." Xander demanded. I frowned and looked back at the door to my classroom.

"Don't worry about that, it won't hurt you to miss one day of school." He reassured me. With a sigh I finally nodded my head, causing a breathtaking smile to come to Xander's lips.

"Lead the way." I offered. Xander let out a loud 'whoop' before grabbing my hand and dragging me towards the parking lot. I was laughing the whole way there.
