Malia snorts unlady like making Jade

"Shelikes to call herself the Luna of this pack.” Malia snorts again, distastelacing her voice.

"I'd rather jump off a cliff than have her as my luna. She has slept withalmost half of the men in this pack. It is only a matter of time beforeAlpha discards her off like a used box of tissue paper. God I would payevery penny in my pocket to see her face the day that happens.” Maliastops ranting.

Jade felt bad for the she wolf, but the feeling of relief overpowered hersenses. No matter how nice Jade was, no one liked seeing their matewith another female. Mates are meant to be sacred beings. Two halvesmade a whole. The moon goddess has blessed every werewolf with amate, one that she'd hoped would keep them grounded, make themfeel loved.

Jade's wolf was a strong one, meaning her want for him was ten foldsstronger.

"Jade, hey, wait up!" Someone calling out Jade's name made her haltsin her footsteps, confused she turn around towards where she couldhear the person running towards her. She had been walking throughthe hallways planning on talking a walk outside when she'd heard theperson calling her name.

The sound of footsteps stops directly infront of her, the air carried afamiliar scent with it. A small smile graces her face when she realiseswho it was.

"Hey Nate" Jade speaks up, Nathaniel, or Nate as he liked to be calledhad been someone she had been talking frequently around the packhouse, and during one of those times was when he had asked her tocall him Nate since “Nathaniel’ was too long and plus “the use of his fullname made him feel like he was in trouble’ was what he said to hermaking Jade smile amusedly at his words. they haven't gone out on adate yet though since she hadn't seen him for the past one week.

"Hi" he breaths out, He was bent over with both his hands resting onhis knees as he took big gulps of air.

"Damn, I felt like I just ran a marathon" he speaks up after a fewmoments of him catching his breath. He'd seen her walk around thehallways, luckily he'd got a glimpse of her when she'd walked past oneof the widows, outside which he stood with rest of the pack warriors,training. He had some how manage to slip out with out being noticed.What he missed was the tall figure who stood underneath the tree,under the shadows it provided to conceal his features. Adryan had beenwatching the warriors train when he'd got a hint of her strawberry scentand after a few minutes he'd seen his Delta slip out sneakily making histeeth to clench in anger. Nate was new, and Adryan didn't want to scareoff the young male. But, seems like he would've to if he planned oncontinuing to pursue his mate.

His lips curls up into a smirk when an idea enters his mind.

Nate had been meaning to talk to her about their date but the pastweek the Alpha had been pushing everyone to train harder and thesecurity around the pack house has been doubled. Alpha had beenmore aggressive during the training, which worried everyone in thepack. None of them knew what it was about, but they knew better thanto question Alpha Adryan Romano's orders.

"So? why did you run a marathon for?" Jade asks him with a playfultone making him narrow his eyes at her words playfully even thoughshe couldn't see him.

"Now, I have been meaning to talk about that date we'd both agreedon" Nate's words sounded teasing.

"Oh" she felt herself turning shy all of a sudden after hearing him talkabout their date. She'd never really went out on a date with a guy soshe didn't know how it all worked.

Nate's smile widens upon seeing Jade blush, she was the most beautifulgirl he'd seen around the pack house. He may or might not have askedaround and found out that she was single, he'd thought why not shoothis shot before it was too late, right?!

"Well I wanted to tell you that I'm planning on taking you out tomorrownight at eight. Is that okay with you?" Jade was startled at his words butinstantly bobs her head up and down when she had realised that shehadn't given him a reply.

"Well then Darling, be ready. I'll pick you up at eight." He says andsuddenly speaks up again remembering something, "Oh, and wear adress." He places a small kiss on her cheeks, Jade didn't know what shewas more shocked about anymore, about his sudden endearment forher or him kissing her on her cheeks which were a flaming red colornow. She was too shocked to reply before he had said his byes.
