Chapter 43

Catalina's POV

When we enter the plane, Andrew helps his dad into a chair.

"Andrew I need a minute with Kayla." I say. He takes my hand and leads me to the back of the plane where the bed is.

"We will take off in a few minutes. Take as long as you need." Andrew kisses me again. When he pulls away he looks into my eyes and then heads back to his dad. I close the curtain and lay down on the bed.

"Ok Kayla. I want to know everything." I say.

"Close your eyes. I will show you." Kayla says. I close my eyes.

4 years earlier

Liams POV

"Son we found the White Wolf." My father said as I entered his office. He has been searching for the White Wolf his entire life. He told me when he was younger he wanted to be the mate of the White Wolf. But as time went on he wanted and heir. So he had to settle for an 'ordinary' mate as he called it. He met my mother and she became the Luna. When I was born my father began searching for the white wolf again, only now he wanted it to be my mate. My whole life I was told the White Wolf will be my mate. "Really? Where?" I ask.

"Blood Forest Pack." My father says.

"When can we go there? When can we get her?" I ask.

"Soon son. We have a bit of a problem with their Alpha. Jerry and I will travel there in a few months." My father says.

"I want to go." I say.

"You will wait. I have looked for her my whole life. You will not ruin this." My father stands from his desk.

"I will tell you when you can go." My father gestures for me to leave. I feel enraged but must obey my Alpha. I leave the office. A few months later my father and Jerry left for Blood Forest pack. When they came back my father told me nothing about the visit. All I know if my father is sending Jackson, Jerry's son, to Blood Forest Pack. Jackson just took over his uncle's pack as his uncle had no heirs. Are they going to give Jackson what is rightfully mine? Once I knew Jackson had left I went to my father for answers. I enter into my father's office.

"Father."

"Liam. What are you doing here?" He asked

"I know you sent Jackson to Blood Forest. Why? Why not me?" I asked.

"I don't have time for this."

I slammed my fist on the desk.

"Make time." I say.

"His doing you a favor and bleeding the girl." He says. Bleed her?

"What are you talking about?" I ask.

"You stupid boy. You don't know anything do you!" He's vile.

"Maybe if you would tell me something I would know." My father stands up from his desk and walks around in front of me.

"Maybe if you weren't such a disappointment, I would tell you." My father has always been tough. He is selfish and power hungry. My mother doesn't live in the pack house, it's safer for her that way.

"No father. You are the disappointment. You ruined our family. You've ruined this pack." I spit back at him.

I see the rage behind his eyes. He reaches for me but I push him back. He rushes towards me and I jump out of the way last second, he runs into the wall. He shakes it off and comes at me again. He grabs me and with anger and rage I lift up my father and throw him at the wall. I miss the wall and he crashes throw the window. Just then Jerry rushes into the room towards the window.

"Liam?! What just happened?"

I walk over and look out the window. There lay my father body face down. Unmoving.

What have I done? Should I run? No. I'm the Alpha now.

"He disrespected me. He disrespected this pack. He was a tyrant and I have defended this pack from his poisonous pursuits. I am the Alpha now." I stare Jerry down seeing if he will challenge me. "Alpha Liam." He says bowing low to the ground.

"Beta Jerry go clean us the mess outside." I leave the room.

When Jackson's visit was done, I banned him from our pack lands.

Months earlier

Liam's POV

"I am your mate!" Carrie shouts.

"How can you treat me this way?" She has tears in her eyes. Ew her face always gets all fat and puffy when she cries.

"You maybe my mate but I am the Alpha! You will follow my plan or I will have you thrown in the cells to rot." I yell back at her. I head towards the door.

"I, Carolina Green, reject you Liam Stone as my mate." Carrie whispers. I stop in my tracks. Who does she think she is? I rush back to her and grab her in my arms. I laugh loudly in her face.

"You think you can reject me? So some other man can have what is mine?! NEVER! I will NEVER accept your rejection. You belong to me!" I kiss her hard on the lips. She tries to push me away, I pull her in close. I pull away and wipe the blood from my mouth. I guess her lip cut against her teeth. Carrie falls to the floor crying. I leave the room.

5 weeks earlier

Jerry's POV

"Sir we have set everything up for when they leave." I hear Jackson say on the phone.

"Good. Don't mess this up or I will kill you and your family." Liam says as he hangs up the phone. He darts his eyes to mine.

"Your disgusting son better not screw this up." Liam says.

"He won't Alpha. He knows what is at stake." I reply.

"Get out Jerry." He tells me.

I bow low to the floor and do as my Alpha commands.

4 weeks earlier

Liam's POV

"Sir we got them." Jackson says.

"Good bring them all here. They better be all alive." I say.

"Yes sir." Jackson replies.

Finally. It's all coming together.

Andrew's POV

I open my eyes to a dark cold room. I look around and see I'm in what looks like a cell. There are bars on one side. I hear doors opening in the distance. My body is sore and my head is killing me. A woman walks in wearing a uniform.

"Good you're up. This will make it easier." She says coming into the cell.

"Where am I? Where's Lina and my father?" I ask

"Catalina is fine. You and your father are in my pack holding cells." A man comes to the door.

"Why are we in cells? What did you do?" I asked

"You are here because I need you to listen." He says.

"What do you want?" I ask getting mad.

"Listen to me very closely Alpha. You are going to be reunited with Catalina tomorrow. And in the next two days you are going to reject her. If you do not reject her I will kill you and your father. If you reject her I will set you free to go back to your pack and once we are fully mated I will release your father. I think that's a fair offer wouldn't you say nurse?" He looks over at the nurse.

"Yes Alpha it is." She gives me a shot in my arm.

"Just think about it. You have two days from when you wake up." He says. My vision goes blurry and my eyes close. When I wake up I hear Kayla in my head.

"Andrew it is time. Tomorrow you need to reject Lina. Meet us at the airport in 4 weeks time." Kayla says to me. "So I get her back?" I ask.

"If it all goes to plan. You will get everyone back." She says to me.

"But you have to push her away. Make her believe it." Kayla adds.

"She won't feel it. If she's as powerful as you say. She has to accept it."

"Leave that to me." Kayla says.

The next day

Andrew's POV

Liam walks into the room with a smile.

"So today is the day." He says with his stupid smug face.

"I know. I'm going to." I say shortly.

"I wanted to make sure you also know that no one can contact Lina. Ever again. She will be mine, completely." Liam hisses. I get up from bed.

"She will never be yours. She will never trust you. She won't fall for your lies." I say. Liam just smiles.

"Oh Andrew. She already has." Just then Lina walks into the room.

"What's going on?" Lina asks looking concerned.

"I'm trying to talk Andrew out of doing something stupid." Liam claims. He's trying to act like the good guy.

"Very funny Liam. You don't think I see what you are doing?" I hiss back.

"You have always been weak. If someone did what happened to Catalina to my mate they wouldn't be breathing." Liam claims.

"You don't know what happened to her. Don't act like you care." I reply, how could he?

"I know because she showed me." Liam says.

"You showed him your scars?" I look at Lina and she is trying not to make eye contact with me.

"Andrew do it now!" Kayla says in my head.

"I, Andrew Lake, reject you, Catalina Black." I say and Lina wrenches to the ground in pain. Im stunned by my own words. What have I done? Every fiber of my being wants to run over to Lina and hug her.

"Andrew I'm doing this to her. You need to leave. She will be alright. Trust me." Kayla says.

Im still frozen staring at Lina. The girl that came in with Lina rushes to her side.

"You have done it. You're free to go. Now leave before I change my mind." Liam whispers as he ushers me out of the door.

"Catalina you are really hot." I heard the girl say.

"Get out and remember what I said. Not a word to her." Liam says and closes the door and pushes me down there hall. Jerry, Jackson's father, is waiting for me. He walks me out to a car and drives me to the airport. My plane is still there waiting for me. I take the plane back home. Murphy meets me at the air port. I tell him everything that happened at Lilith's and with Alpha Liam.

"Damn. Andrew. Damn." Murph says. He just sits there staring forward.

"I know. I don't know what I'm going to do. I don't know what I'm supposed to do." I say.

"I can't believe so much happened in a week. And Kayla said to come back in 4 weeks? That's so long. Anything could happen between now and then. And your dad." Murph said.

"You're going to have to tell your mom. And my wife. She's going to be so pissed." Murph adds.

"You are kinda the worst. Why are you my beta?" I asked.
