The call ended a few seconds after Jovani had approved of her answer and bid her a good night. She hardly put her phone down before her father was on her about what she had just agreed to.

"What were you thinking by saying you'd agree to his terms? You don't even know what he's planning." The exasperation was evident in his voice as he looked at his daughter despite knowing what the answer to the question already was.

"I agreed because it was exactly what you would've done if it was one of us." Lena replied pausing for a second as she looked away before speaking again.

"Or like you did when it was mother in this situation." Being a child going through something with a parent versus someone going through it with a partner was completely different feelings, but she was certain that her father understood what she as feeling."

"Yes, but you know that it didn't do me any good to react so irrationally. What am I supposed to do if something happens to you because this turns out to be a setup?" He then asked, the stress of considering such situation causing adrenaline to flow through his system.

"You burn everyone down who's responsible for it like you did in the past." The princess replied as though it was the most obvious answer to the problem.

"I don't think that you need to worry about that though. Jovani Conti certainly wants something but I don't think he's looking to collect a dead body. What else it could be, I'm not sure but it's like uncle said, he doesn't sound like the malicious type of person." She looked over at Hester as she finished speaking.

"Were you able to get anything from the call?" She asked as moved over to see if there was anything on his computer screen, ignoring the face her father was making as she looked away from him.

She knew that he wasn't happy with what she was planning on going through with, but to her it was the only option at the current moment in time. She didn't want to risk messing anything up which meant that she was going to have a long night ahead of her without being able to sleep while worrying.

"I was able to narrow down the general location, but the signal that was coming through seemed to rather weak as though it was being blocked by something." Hester replied as he showed her what was on his computer screen.

"I don't know if it was intentionally being suppressed or if it's just because of the area where the call was being picked up from." he shifted the map he had up on his computer so that she could get an idea of the general area the call had come from.

"It's not perfect but it is better than nothing." The princess replied before she glanced back at her father.

"If you know the general location before I leave, you know where to look if anything happens." She told her but it didn't nothing to change the look on her face that told her he thought that she was being irrational.

"I'll take Clive and Romeo with me because they are the most reliable ones to have in this kind of situation. I will try and let you know before I get close to this area where exactly I am incase the signal does end up going out and we can't stay in touch." She assured him.

"You're really set on going through this in the way that you think would be best, aren't you?" Zane asked with a sigh as he looked at his daughter wondering when she had begun to become as stubborn as he would.

"Of course I am. I risk losing more by making a move too quickly since we don't have enough information to know where to go or what to do. Trying to have the upper hand in such a situation would backfire. Hence for Samuel's sake, it is better if I just go through with Jovani is asking and make up my mind on what to do next if things change."

"Not to butt in out of place, Sir, but I think that the Princess is right. No one can say how this situation will turn out, but I think playing it by ear in this way will at least make it seem like there's cooperation going on. As long as I tweak some things, I am sure that you will be able to keep tracking her phone even if the signal is suppressed in the area she'll be heading into." Zane looked between the two of them. Of course one of his trusted men would choose to side with his daughter during the one time he needed someone to see how irrational she was being.

"Alright. But if anything happens I will really burn down everyone without a second thought." Zane replied, not liking the situation but knowing that he wasn't going to be able to get his daughter to change her mind. She had become too much like him.

He wasn't sure though if her behavior was due to the fact that she was actually starting to develop an affection for Samuel or if it had something to do with the guilt she had been carrying for the past ten years. He knew that even if he asked her she wouldn't give him a straight answer about it so he would just have to wait and see.

"Try not to make it as big of a fiasco as it was so many years ago. The way you express your emotions in those situations while you certainly do a good job of expression how passionately you hate those who hurt anyone you care about, it can be a bit too intense for other reasons that aren't good for us." Lena told her father in a mildly joking tone.

Ten years ago went wrong in the matter of three days, people remembered less about what caused everything to happen and instead only remembered the damage that followed. That was why Lena was planning on doing things differently if anything happened to Samuel. Only Jovani Conti and Russo Harrison would be the ones to suffer.
