Omegaverse World

The Omegaverse is a genre of novels that started in different fandoms where werewolves, lycanthropes or shapeshifters exist. Although over time it has become unlinked and is no longer extremely necessary to be used in this way, but can be applied to simple humans. Society is divided into three genders, the alpha, beta and omega. They have very particular differences, especially between alphas and omegas, the two extremes of the hierarchy. Something that should be clarified is that the Alpha/Beta/Omega of each individual is like a part of this, it can be defined as their animal side, and they may not agree with this instinct. A very clear example is that if a peaceful Alpha is challenged by another Alpha, the Alpha of this individual forces him to accept the challenge. This is because their animal instincts are controlling their rational side.

Alphas

They are the ones at the top of the three genders. The alpha, whether male or female, has the ability to fertilize an omega male or female, because they have male s****l organs, internal (in the case of alpha females) or external in alpha males, i.e., the normal in them). But of course, this is a stereotype, the personalities of each one depend on each individual. They also have “The Voice”, it has different names, but very similar like command voice, alpha voice and derivatives. The point is that when they speak with this voice, they have a reaction of entire submission in the omega, and even in the younger or less powerful beta or alpha. An alpha has more power than another when it is considered physically impossible to defeat him, his voice is more developed, or he is in a higher rank, be it social, political or economic.

Betas

Beta’s are basically the same as ordinary humans. Males have male reproductive organs and females have female reproductive organs, so only they can get pregnant. Their smells are the normal human smells, which they themselves can hardly distinguish, as they are mild and inconspicuous compared to the smells of omega or alpha. They have the free choice to form a relationship with any of the three genders, of course procreating is easier between two beta than between a beta and an alpha, or in a couple of beta and omega, it is not impossible, but difficult. Just as nobody establishes that two beta parents cannot produce an omega or alpha offspring. The condition of the parents does not influence the condition of the offspring, besides the gender of the offspring is not known until they reach puberty and have their first heat.

Omegas

Both males and females have female reproductive apparatus (uterus and ovaries), and are perfectly capable of conceiving as long as they are fertilized by an alpha and rarely a beta. This is of course where MPREG (male pregnancy) comes in because they are highly fertile. However, omegas have a very important feature which is jealousy which occurs every three months and lasts for three days or so (the time varies according to the writers) when their hormone levels skyrocket and they are firmly in need of seeking an alpha to

“mate” with him. This is when the Omega side is released, they need the mating and their pheromones report this to nearby alpha or beta, this is also when their fertility increases. The omega, like the alpha, give off a very characteristic odor that allows them to identify each other, due to the pheromones they expel. It is during the rutting season when these increase in such a way that the alpha is able to notice the estrus in them. Like alphas, they also express emotions with their scent. The omega secretes its own lubricant, this serves so that they do not feel a great magnitude of pain when they are penetrated or the knot of the alpha expands inside them, although it is also a very erogenous zone, which reacts to the slightest stimulus (depending on the sensitivity of the omega).

The omega has a special call to its alpha, it is completely involuntary and causes the alpha in question to have an immense need to protect the omega. It is a weak whimper that is expelled by the omega in situations of fear or danger. Supposedly they tend to be calm and submissive, they take care of the offspring. But as with alphas, this is the stereotype and they don’t have to follow it.

Suppressants

These are specialized pills to help the omega do two things: hide its scent and avoid getting pregnant. Depending on the writer, there are two options: there are scent suppressants and birth control pills, or both effects in one. If an alpha is courting an omega it is considered wrong for the omega to use suppressants, but it depends on the couple and what the alpha decides in many cases. It is worth mentioning that they are highly expensive. If an omega takes these pills for a long time, it can be detrimental to his health, as well as render him sterile.

This part is highly important. The bonds are based on the fact that the alpha bites the omega in the neck until it leaves a mark that never disappears. That means that the omega has been claimed and is now unconditionally bonded to the alpha. If the bond occurs between two betas it has the same effect. However, there is no bond between a beta and an omega or alpha, between two alphas or between two omegas. The bonds do not depend on love, they do not change if they do not love each other, the effect is the same. Supposedly these bonds should last forever, but there is the ability to break the bond because of the death of one of the two or because the alpha decides to end it. There are such strong connections that both sides can feel what the other partner feels even if they are in different places. The alpha breaks the bond if he claims another omega. An alpha can have as many partners as he wants, however, he cannot bite several people without breaking the bond with the previous one. If the omega does not agree it is not relevant, since they are deprived of many decisions by their omega condition. When we talk about a broken bond, it is very common that both sides join in a deep depression, this is because the bond unites both parts physically and mentally. When they move away, they feel such a great emptiness that they do not have the strength to continue, many of them even die in this condition.

Fated couples

The destined couples exist, it is said that before being born your soul splits and takes that part to the one that will be your destined partner, and the same happens with the soul of this one.

When an alpha or omega meet their destined partner, they feel the most delicious and appetizing aroma in the universe. Sometimes this affects them so much that they go into heat.

Not everyone meets their destined mate, and you can lead a completely normal and fulfilling life without one, and you can even start a family. Beware, if you replace your destined mate when you are marked by another, you will only feel a desire to procreate with them, you will not have romantic feelings.

A destined couple is formed by an alpha and an omega (not alpha-alpha, omega-omega, beta-beta, alpha-beta or omega-beta), which from birth are perfect for each other to form a loving relationship, this does not mean that they are obliged to love each other, but that they have high probabilities of succeeding in their relationship.

An alpha or an omega easily realize when they replace their destined one, simply by seeing or living with that person they feel satisfaction and fulfillment. Sometimes it happens that when they see their destined one, their jealousy comes forward.

Having a destined one does not prevent the alpha or the omega to be in couple with another person that is not their destined one, as I said before the destined couple is not obligated to love each other, but if they decide to be with another person it will be much more difficult to maintain their relationship.
