Chapter 281 Hello Mr Lu, I’m Eric

Linda subconsciously squeezed her hand when she heard that. It was a tricky request. There was noway that they could ask Mr. Lu to come and meet this little child.

She could not bring herself to tell Lu Jinye the absurd request. Any person would be happy to see sucha cute little boy, but she had no right for such a request.

“Forget it. Go in and pretend that you’re the one who set up the firewall.”

Linda gritted her teeth and ushered the supervisor in.

The supervisor felt uneasy but he did not have other options.

He braced himself, walked towards Eric, and acknowledged, “It’s me.”

Eric raised his head and looked at the adult in front of him. There were no fears in his eyes, and hespoke rather imposingly, “Come to the study room with me. I’d like to have a chat with you.”

“Okay.”

Having said that, Eric walked towards the study room, and the supervisor followed suit.

After entering the study room, Eric started speaking.

The door was closed, and Linda wandered outside the room restlessly. Wanting to know what washappening inside, Linda tried to eavesdrop through the crack of the door.

But she could not hear anything.

In less than ten minutes, the supervisor was chased out, with a frustrated expression. He seemed tohave undergone a session of lecture.

“How did it go?”

Linda hurriedly stepped forward to ask. At the same time, Eric walked out of the room with an unhappyface. “If your company wants to fool around, then I have nothing to say.”

He had a serious expression on his tiny face.

When the manager was in the room, he could not even answer the two questions Eric asked.

All Eric wanted was some technical information, one of which he could not solve at his level.

Eric wanted to hit the sack so he drove the people away. “Let’s call Mr. Lu. He’d not be happy if wecan’t settle this matter.”

Seeing how distressed Linda was, the manager muttered.

Linda frowned and looked at Eric. She gritted her teeth and thought that it was better to be scoldedrather than letting this child invade the company’s system again.

She picked up the phone and went out, explained the situation to Lu Jinye on the other end of thephone.

After explaining the situation, Linda kept apologizing to Lu Jinye, “Mr. Lu, I know I shouldn’t beinterrupting your meeting at this time, but it’s a difficult situation. I don’t know what else to do. I’mterribly sorry.”

At last, Lu Jinye did not seem to show too much unwillingness. He said to Linda, “Pass the phone tohim.”

Linda did not mention that the invader was a boy and Lu Jinye usually liked to scout talent. It was just aphone call so he had no objection.

Linda happily handed the phone to Eric after getting Lu Jinye’s affirmation, and said, “He’s the boss ofour company, Mr. Lu. He’s agreed to talk to you.”

Eric took over the phone calmly, but he felt butterflies in his stomach.

So Mr. Lu was indeed Lu Jinye. He did not expect Lu Jinye to be so brilliant!

It was not for nothing that aroused his interest as he wanted to learn more.

Eric took a deep breath and greeted, “Hello Mr. Lu, my name is Eric.”

Lu Jinye frowned. He had a serious look on his face. He did not expect the other person to speak insuch a tender tone and that made his brows wrinkled deeper.

He said to Eric, “Yes. This is Lu Jinye.”

Lu Jinye’s voice was deep. After just hearing Lu Jinye’s introduction, Eric’s heart started poundinguncontrollably.

He unconsciously placed his hand on his chest and said to Lu Jinye, “Regarding the last firewall, I havea few questions for you.”

At the other end of the phone, Lu Jinye was silent for a while and then gave a hmm.

Eric asked a series of questions. Every question was logical and sensible.

Basically, once Lu Jinye answered all his questions, not only would Eric be able to break the firewalldesigned by Lu Jinye, but he could also invade all the other complicated systems.

After listening to his questions, Lu Jinye replied, “First of all, what you did was wrong, so I can’t explainmuch to you. But I can choose a question to answer.”

Because of this, he judged that Eric’s father was not someone like himself. He was either a computertalent or an underground activist.

After hearing Lu Jinye’s words, Eric suddenly felt a little sad.

He had never thought that someone would tell him that. Something he had always believed in wascrushed by Lu Jinye.

He was sad.

He didn’t even want to talk any more, and he just hung up the phone.

After the call was ended, Linda was going to leave.

But Lu Jinye called again to tell Linda to leave his phone number to Eric, indicating that Eric could callhim anytime.

After that, Linda left.
