Chapter 44 039 Whirlwind (5)

Sergeant Major handed over the unconscious Han Jiaxue to a fellow soldier serving as a medic, who immediately checked her vital signs. After confirming there was no serious harm, he non-invasively injected her with a dose of the T-Type Nutrient. This was a standard item in the Iridium Star military, used when soldiers were severely fatigued, exhausted, or had sustained injuries.

The T-Type Nutrient could effectively eliminate fatigue and keep the body in optimal condition to recuperate from injuries and more. However, the miracle drug had its limits; excessive injections could severely impair bodily functions and even lead to organ failure.

"Kill them all, we don't need any survivors," the Sergeant Major ordered coldly. The newly formed Skull Orbital Paratroopers did not have any officers, essentially constituting just a strike team, with Wang Dong as the Commander at the level of a Level Three Sergeant Major.

The Sergeant Major was not aware of the target's relation with the Chancellor, Bai Zhongqi had only mentioned a friend at the fleet meeting, and Nan Ma could somewhat sense a young man and woman's relationship. Whether a girlfriend or just a friend, if related to the Chancellor and kidnapped, it was a provocation against the Empire's dignity.

The Sergeant Major disliked the aristocracy within the Empire, but still held feelings for the country; no one could trample the sacred dignity of this nation.

Moreover, Bai Zhongqi had also instructed him that the lives of others were inconsequential; the priority was to safeguard the target. The Iridium Star people did not need any intelligence from these CIA agents. Furthermore, after Bai Zhongqi discovered that Han Jiaxue had been brutally interrogated by those scum, his rage knew no bounds, and he resolved to eliminate all those bastards.

The Sergeant Major took a step forward, his towering figure so tall on the battlefield that he even crushed the security manager's head underfoot. The Tiberius Armor was advanced in every aspect, providing feedback of force to the wearer even with such actions, allowing the warrior to feel more clearly.

"Most primate-type human enemies really do have fragile bodies," the Sergeant Major remarked, feeling no different between crushing a human's skull and crushing an insect. He had spent time on the most dangerous battlefields of the Empire, slaughtered countless oddly shaped aliens and monsters, and to him, nothing was more meaningful than preserving his own life.

The enemy's bodies were not worthy of respect.

Even the Orbital Paratroopers beside him were somewhat uncomfortable watching the Sergeant Major crush a dead man's head. Although many had experienced combat, few had lived and fought in chaos for as long as the Sergeant Major. In the Marine Corps, they were quite intimidated by the Sergeant Major, whose towering figure resembled a bear.

He had previously easily picked up two soldiers who had argued with him and slammed them against a wall with one hand. It was because of this incident that Xiao Yu had grounds to discipline the Sergeant Major.

Yet the Imperial Chancellor was very pleased with the beast-like Sergeant Major, who was a man of few words. Although he was haughty, he was highly capable. Not only was his Combat Power high, but he also had brains to plan combat strategies.

Before the landing, the Sergeant Major had succinctly outlined his approach to combat to Bai Zhongqi, which was clearly more reliable than Bai Zhongqi's amateur strategies, so Bai Zhongqi authorized him to command the Orbital Airborne Corps directly.

Admittedly, Bai Zhongqi's method was simpler—using the Dragonfly Drone's discharge ability to directly stun the CIA agents. However, this was not foolproof; if something went wrong and there was no one to guard the vicinity, any un-stunned agents could potentially harm Han Jiaxue.

Han Jiaxue was quickly brought to Bai Zhongqi's side, and Sacred Falcon asked Bai Zhongqi, "Chancellor, should we awaken her?"

Bai Zhongqi felt a bit nervous, but after thinking for a moment, he shook his head and said, "Let her sleep well, she must be terrified. Bring her back on board, and we'll talk when she has recovered."

Nan Ma followed for a run, accomplishing nothing, but he had no complaints and still appeared cheerful. The Sergeant Major and the Orbital Paratroopers somewhat gathered some of the CIA's items; Nan Ma went over and picked through them.

Although he considered these items to be primitive, Nan Ma treated them like antiques and even pulled out someone's "ifone" phone among the pile of stuff, beginning to study the Earth people's smartphones.

At that moment, Bai Zhongqi dispatched a Dragonfly Drone back to his apartment in San Francisco. His entire home had been turned upside down by the CIA, and his personal belongings had mostly been taken away. Much of the furniture and other items were damaged, the place a complete mess. This, coupled with their torture of Han Jiaxue, infuriated Bai Zhongqi.

The first thing he thought was that his home had been searched, and the Americans must have already obtained his DNA. Although with Earth's technology, possessing the DNA might not yield anything particularly useful, it was still a loose end. He now slightly regretted having killed all those guys; otherwise, he could have directly obtained information about where his things and DNA had been taken.

However, he had access to global communications and networks, as well as a large number of Dragonfly Drones, so obtaining this information, though troublesome, was not particularly difficult. Even before he had returned to the Sacred Falcon, he had already found out the location of his personal items and DNA materials.

Bai Zhongqi immediately ordered the still on-standby Orbital Paratroopers to deploy once again, this time he did not accompany them, but instead let the Sacred Falcon and the Sergeant Major take charge.

Nan Ma was meanwhile engrossed in exploring a major Chinese social media-owned dating app, eagerly perusing profiles of women and even unabashedly letting his lustful gaze show.

"Chancellor, there's actually such a great thing on Earth! We on Iridium Star control these types of social platforms too strictly. The customs on Earth are more open. Not bad, not bad."

Bai Zhongqi noticed that Nan Ma was the Iridium Star inhabitant who held the least reverence for him. Bai Zhongqi didn't mind this; instead, he found it made communication easier. It was just that Nan Ma, a Star Warrior master, seemed to lack personal enlightenment compared to the average Iridium Star person. Bai Zhongqi was unsure if this was his true nature or merely a facade.

Suddenly, Nan Ma asked Bai Zhongqi, "The Chancellor's beloved has been rescued, but it seems Your Majesty's actions are not yet over. Although Your Majesty has lived on Earth for over twenty years, your regal air is still intact, I can see that. I am very curious, what does Your Majesty plan to do next?"

Bai Zhongqi smiled faintly upon hearing this and replied lightly, "It's nothing significant, just fishing and bird catching."
