Chapter 72 Principal’ Room

Edith and Menalie remain calm, waiting for Samuel, but they are definitely anxious about what will happen. It may not necessarily be wrong, but with Samuel, they never know. That is the hold he had on others through sheer presence.

A sudden knock awoke them from their thoughts, and they focused on the door. Samuel entered and greeted everyone present.

" Principal, I wanted to discuss something important. As you know, it has not been long since I started here, but I need some time alone." Samuel said.

Seeing nothing serious about the situation, visibility calmed Edith and Melanie. Mixalis, on the other hand, winced at the idea of separation. As the head of the fan group, constant contact with his idol gave him plenty of material to write about.

He dreaded the possibility of a break and feared that the fan club would revolt at the mere idea, but regardless he maintained his composure in front of everyone.

" Why such a sudden request? Is something wrong with your family? You can choose to not answer if it is something personal." Melanie asked.

" It will be a strong deterrent in your academic, taking a break after only a week of lessons. But I have heard from Melanie that you are progressing faster in your studies, so if you need to take a leave, I will allow it. How many days will you be gone? " Edith asked.

" It is not so personal, but I am merely upholding a promise I made to my sister. I planned a memorable vacation for her, hence, the leave request. I would like to take the whole week off. " Samuel explained briefly without giving many contexts.

Edith nodded while Melanie lamented she liked working with someone with immense potential, and She definitely categorized Samuel at the top of her list of students. While Mixalis broke down internally, he had to live with his idol's presence for a whole week. Mere harrowing thoughts crushed him.

" Ok, I grant you leave as per your instructions; you can provide me the details later or inform Mixalis, and he will deliver it to me." Edith agreed and thought the conversation was over, but Samuel interjected.

" One more thing, Adele may be joining us. I have not yet asked her, but the probability of her accompanying is high. Just wanted to let you know beforehand."

Edith stared at Samuel and sighed.

"This boy, I can't blame him. Adele has been too focused on her classes and rarely took any breaks. Maybe It will be better for her to take some time off." Edith thought.

She agreed to it as long as Adele and her parents were OK with it.

After informing faculty members, Samuel goes to the singing department to meet Adele.

He first wanted to talk with Adele, then both of them could surprise Hannah, or he could invite all of them together and break the news. He is still contemplating as he walks.

He is about to enter the class, but the door opens, and he sees Joyce, the Singing instructor, coming out.

" Good Morning, Teacher Joyce." He greets her casually, but she stops him.

" Wait, Samuel, If you are looking for Adele and Iblis, I ended the class early today. They might have already been on their way home. " Joyce informed.

" Oh, I guess I have to think of something else. I will see you later. Thanks for the information." Samuel said.

" Good, You are invited to attend my class. It can be pretty insightful to delve into different branches of entertainment. Take care. " Joyce said and walked away.

It was not the first time it came to him to pick up singing. He had often thought that his titles would facilitate a smooth transition, but he put those opinions on hold for now. He has others things to focus on.

He left the academy and asked Oscar to visit Adele directly. It would be better to directly confront both targets, i.e., Adele and her family, and ask them about his idea. He was optimistic before, but how little he has interacted with her family worried him.

Adele has mentioned that only two people are present in her household, namely, her grandmother and her mother, Penny. He met Penny briefly during the bullying fiasco, but there has been no contact since then. Oscar was the one who undertook those tasks to propagate his regard, so Oscar accompanying him is a big plus.

He concluded that he ought to interact more with people he cared about. He has to know more about them on a fundamental level to properly connect with them. He kept thinking about different scenarios which could unfold in the meeting and solutions.

Samuel failed to notice but had already arrived at his desired location. He is still combing through his solutions.

" Young master, We have reached the place. " Oscar informs, which makes Samuel focus outside.

Samuel looks around, and all he can witness is a bleak atmosphere. Several houses are spread out without proper order, indicating that it was not a well-thought operation, like someone took several tiny houses and scrambled them together to make a neighborhood.

It is the first time since coming to this world that he has experienced firsthand low-income households, and he is not a fan of the concept.

" I have to build a concrete plan to achieve any results." Samuel thought. He stood and observed for a few more seconds before following Oscar.

They parked far away from the destination because of the narrow space and were surprised to see a familiar vehicle. Samuel ignored and walked toward the goal while looking at onlookers.

Adele's neighbors are confused seeing 'rich' people visiting their neighborhood one after another. They murmured among themself while Samuel and others made their way to the porch.

Oscar rang the doorbell and waited. Rustle sounds came from the other side of the door, after which it opened. Penny opens the door and is surprised to see Oscar and Samuel waiting on the porch.

" Good evening, It is good to see you again, Aunt Penny. Do you remember me? We met a few months ago. " Samuel greeted and asked politely.
