Attorney Wesley, a well-respected figure in the circles of influence, was a close

friend of Norbert. Whenever the younger members of the group encountered him, they would respectfully greet him as Wesley.

When he spoke, even the gathered journalists were left bewildered, not to mention Matthew and Brian.

Norbert's will? Why announce it here?

Brian and Matthew exchanged puzzled glances, wondering if Claude had anything to do with this. In their prior investigations, they discovered Claude held five percent of the shares that Norbert had somehow consolidated and handed over to Claude. Did Norbert leave a will to further benefit Claude?

Both Brian and Matthew felt a twinge of dissatisfaction but kept their thoughts to themselves. After all, the shares of the Hetfield Group were Norbert's to distribute as he pleased, and they couldn't stop him.

Their purpose today wasn't to confront Claude but rather to address matters concerning Morwenna.

Attorney Wesley ignored Matthew and the others, turning instead to help Morwenna to her feet. With a sigh, he remarked, "Norbert wouldn't want to see you like this."

Morwenna stiffened slightly.

Standing beside her, Wesley's tone was stern as he addressed the group, "You think Morwenna was after money, that she was greedy for benefits?"

Brian felt an uneasy premonition. It seemed Wesley was here not for Claude, but for Morwenna.

Attorney Wesley's gaze swept over the room as he produced a document, announcing clearly, "Norbert Hetfield of the Hetfield Group entrusted me with his will. Upon his death, twenty percent of his shares in the Hetfield Group are to be inherited entirely by Morwenna!"

The statement burst like a bombshell.

Everyone was stunned!

Matthew found it incredulous that Norbert would leave such a significant portion of his estate to Morwenna, completely bypassing the Hetfield family.

Brian was equally shocked, unable to comprehend the reasoning. Had Morwenna somehow deceived Norbert? But Norbert, a shrewd businessman with deep foresight, wouldn't be easily fooled. And if he had been deceived, why leave everything to her?

Yet, the will was there, and Wesley's public declaration was beyond dispute. Morwenna stood there, dumbfounded.

After a pause, Wesley continued, "Do you understand what twenty percent of the Hetfield Group's shares represent? It means standing at the pinnacle of your so- called elite circles. You think Morwenna would resort to petty greed for money? Really, does she need to?"

Certainly not.

Inheriting Norbert's estate and a substantial stake in the Hetfield Group, suggesting she was financially wanting was absurd.

Wesley turned to the journalists present, his tone stern, "Are you still here? Do

you want me to sue you for defamation, assault, or trespassing? Being a journalist doesn't exempt you from the law!"

The reporters turned pale.

This was a renowned attorney, and he won most of his cases. Without hesitation, they packed up and left. After all, they had captured footage of Norbert's will announcement—a much more sensational story than a scandal.

Even the journalist whose camera had been damaged decided not to pursue compensation and hurried off.

The once-bustling villa fell silent.

Brian and Matthew remained.

Claude's butler breathed a sigh of relief, grateful that Ms. Winslet, whom his young master cared for, was unharmed.

After a moment of silence, Brian spoke, "Wesley, why would Norbert make such arrangements? Can't he distinguish between close and distant relations?"

"Do you think Norbert and Stuart were fools?" Wesley retorted.

"Of course not!"

"Then why assume that someone Norbert and Stuart genuinely trusted would be someone who betrays for mere gain?"
