Human King
Chapter 81: Defeat (3)

"I will hunt you bastards down!!"

Dawn's shout, which was filled with his extreme anger and the humiliation he felt, made the four men tremble slightly.

Why?

Even though they were stronger than him, Dawn was making them scared.

Why?

Even though they outnumber him with four people, Dawn was making them feel powerless.

Why?

Even though they were the ones who were out in the hunt, why is it...that Dawn was making them feel like they were prey?

All sorts of questions flowed in the four men's minds. That was how intense Dawn looked like right now.

After all, Dawn was literally shining like a god right now.

A white figure, combined with a golden light, looks like a god no matter what the creature looks.

"Gaize, attack him with your Sword Light! That's a long-distance attack!" One of the men called out to Gaize, who fought Dawn before.

Because of Dawn's intensity, Gaize couldn't help but become a little bit scared of Dawn.

It couldn't be helped. That was the exact feeling Gaize had right now as he looked at Dawn, and when he heard his comrade's words, he nodded his head dazedly.

Sword Light.

That was Gaize's strongest long-distance attack. Although he was still up and coming in the ranks of Warmen, Gaize was still strong.

And Gaize's strongest attack would be able to put up a fight with almost any monster.

However...

'H-huge...!'

Gaize felt that he was just an ant compared to the white goblin in front of him.

It was as if Gaize were trying to conquer the whole world while being a speck of dust himself.

Strongest attack? What would that matter in front of this goblin?

That was why he half-heartedly released his Sword Light by swinging his arm weakly.

His unknown power...mana covered his sword, and it struck out in the form of a sword.

That was the Sword Light and Gaize's strongest long-distance attack.

However...

'I-it's small...'

Gaize's strongest attack, in his eyes, when compared to the light in front, was just something insignificant and small.

The one thing that he was so proud of was broken without even putting up a fight.

However...

Slash!!

The Sword Light, which Gaize thought would be broken just by a flick of that light in front, made the light part, and the white goblin could be seen.

Gulp.

Gaize's throat gulped down some saliva as he watched with widened eyes. After all, he couldn't believe it.

That was how weak he felt when faced with the golden light Dawn released.

"Yes!" Gaize shouted out involuntarily when he realized what happened.

After all, it was the Sword Light, which he was proud of, and just when he thought it wouldn't work, it slashed his enemies' attack or defense apart as if it were butter.

And then, the Sword Light too died down after slashing the light.

This made the men rejoice as they thought they wouldn't be attacked now since the golden light was now eliminated.

However, the reality wasn't so forgiving.

"Huuuuu." Dawn sighed as he clutched his hands...with his severed arm.

No, should he call it even severed at this point?

He looked at the spot where the sword cut off his arm, and he nodded his head.

After all, Dawn was able to reattach his arm with no problems. Although he couldn't control it as well as he did before, it was just a matter of time.

---It worked...

Dawn used the same technique he used to stay alive during his battle with the 9 goblins. It was the Great Force body.

However, this time's Great Force body was focused only at one point.

It was at the spot where he was cut.

While holding the arm that was severed, he used the Great Force body to regrow the muscles and bones connecting it forcefully.

To be honest, Dawn wasn't confident in using the Great Force body this way. He did it only by allowing his instincts to take over.

After all, if he thought about it, he would only be full of doubts about it and would hesitate at the crucial moment.

It was then.

Dawn whipped his eyes back to the men, who were stupefied at what they saw.

Well, it was only natural considering a severed arm came back to life.

No...it was common back in their tribe or even in the human world.

What was weird was that a goblin could do it as if it were natural.

And while displaying that amount of power that could even threaten them, the men were truly out of their wits.

And taking advantage of that, Dawn spoke with a grin.

"I'll see you then—bastards who won't live long."

Shoosh!

Boom!

Dawn pushed off the ground powerfully, and within a blink of an eye, he disappeared from where he stood, leaving behind his enemies.

Gaize blinked once...twice and thrice until he finally understood what happened.

"He ran!!" Gaize shouted out in a fluster as he looked at his comrades, who were also staring blankly.

Well, if they ever thought about it, it was only natural that Dawn would run.

After all, one man was able to bring Dawn close to death. The next thing that would happen if Dawn fought all of them would be his certain death.

"Go! Chase him!" One of the men shouted as he ran after Dawn, who left.

They knew how fast Dawn was when they were following him.

Even they wouldn't dare slack when Dawn was going to be that fast again.

Soon, the men left the scene and chased after the running Dawn.

****

"Huuu." Dawn sighed once more as he kicked off the ground powerfully.

He didn't expect that the men would be that cautious of him that they would allow him to escape just like that.

After all, Dawn was sure that any of them was stronger than him.

That was how much the power gap between them was.

Well, it's not like Dawn didn't have any idea as to why they were like that.

---It was probably Great Force...

Dawn knew that the men who tried to kill him hadn't met a goblin who is high ranking just from how they reacted.

After all, they were scared out of their wits when they saw the dragon roaring in the air.

Even though it took Dawn a great amount of Aura to create the Great Force body, it shouldn't be that much of a trouble for the Warman who was fighting him.

After all, the Sword Light of Gaize took it down without a problem as if it were paper.

That was how much the power difference between the two was.

However, it was also because the Great Force body is used for healing, not for attacking or defending.

Dawn looked at his healed arm once and let out a mischievous smile.

"How should I escape from them?" Dawn said as he wondered about it.

Considering the four men's speed, Dawn knew that they would catch up in no time at all.

That was why he wasn't that confident running away from them.

What's more...

Boom!

The sound of trees falling to the ground could be heard as Dawn felt some presence trying to follow him with full strength.

"Kuhahahaha! They're even faster than before!"

Because the group of Warmen wasn't trying to hide anymore, they were going at their full speed to follow Dawn, who was escaping.

At this rate...

"They would catch up."

...Dawn was truly backed against a corner.

An enemy he couldn't beat has appeared, and he can't do anything about it.

His subordinates were in a place far away from him, and they can't help him.

His newfound powers given by the Blessings of the Battlefield don't seem to have enough charm to work in this situation.

---Should I just fight them?

Dawn was considering this sincerely as he didn't have any more options to play.

Boom!

The threat of the Warmen was getting closer as he took his time thinking.

However, Dawn wasn't able to come closer to an answer as he continued running.

That was all he could do. Run.

The mighty and strong goblin, Dawn, was running from the group of people whom he couldn't beat.

Who would have thought there would come a day when he would run as if he were just a prey commonly seen in the forest?

However, he wasn't really that conflicted or angry about it. He was even more frustrated about the time when he had to run from the wolf back then.

Why?

It was because Dawn knew that he just had to kill them to pay back the humiliation of running.

"Right. I just have to come back to kill them."

If there were something Dawn was superior to them, that would be his goblin army and forces.

If you take out his strength as a goblin, Dawn only has his goblins to rely on, after all.

And if Dawn comes back with his goblins, the Warmen chasing him would be killed in no time at all.

However...

"Fucker, you dare escape?!" A shout resounded out from behind Dawn.

It was extremely close, and Dawn knows that he would see a face as soon as he looks back.

"Huuu. I expected it, but..." Dawn said meekly as he focused on running some more.

His destination was where his goblins were hunting. To be exact, he was going back.

"As long as I can get back..."

Dawn could win as long as he escapes.

Right...if he escapes.
