I Have Become A Demon God. Did You Just Ask Me To Be A Minor Villain?
Chapter 1 - Earl and the Demon God Su Mo!

Chapter 1: Earl and the Demon God Su Mo!

Inside a magnificent palace, a maid said to a beautiful man that was sitting on a chair made of gold,” My lord, a letter from Her Majesty the Queen has arrived.”

“Give it to me,” said the woman who was standing beside the beautiful man.

The dainty woman outstretched a lovely hand and took the letter before handing it to Su Mo. When she did this, the maid lowered her head and dared not to look at Su Mo. She could feel the tension in the air. However, she was still impressed by his lordship.

His Lordship is really rich.

The maid was shocked by her master’s wealth every time she came in to report the situation. The Earl was well known for his richness and was probably the richest nobleman in the entire New Moon Kingdom.

It was said that his riches might even surpass those of the Queen herself and that his wealth exceeded that of entire prosperous kingdoms. No wonder the maid had heard that the Queen was attracted to the Earl.

“You may leave now,” the pleasant woman spoke again.

“Yes.” The maid’s mind went blank, but when she regained her senses, she quickly lowered her head and retreated.

Su Mo had already received the letter with a magic seal. He was the only one who could open it. Otherwise, it would destroy itself. Even before he opened it, he already knew its contents.

The Crescent Queen wrote the letter to order some goods from Su Mo’s territory, such as soap, porcelain, toothbrushes, and other items that could only be produced there. However, Su Mo could tell at a glance that this was not the main purpose of the letter.

There was only one primary reason for the Queen’s correspondence… she wanted Su Mo to come to the capital.

“My Lord, I’m afraid the Crescent Queen has fallen in love with you. The Earl’s charm can’t even block the divine light of the gods of heaven,” said the beautiful woman.

As soon as Su Mo moved his finger, the letter disappeared. He spoke lightly, “Xi Wei, go and make arrangements for her.”

Xi Wei replied, “Yes, My Lord.”

Su Mo got up from the couch after Xi We left and walked out of the room towards the balcony to look at his territory.

His room was situated at the height of a huge palace, and below the palace was the prosperous territory of Su Mo.

The territory was incomparably busy, with cars coming and going, including the caravans from the neighbouring kingdoms, alongside the caravans of the Crescent Kingdom.

Occasionally, magical flying beasts or ships were seen in the sky. All of them came to Su Mo’s territory to purchase goods.

“Twenty years,” Su Mo softly spoke. It had been twenty years since he had crossed this vast alien world known as the “World of Gods.”

Su Mo had been a time traveller for the past twenty years, and his life had been fascinating. Now, he was a Lord in a kingdom shrouded in divine light, the Kingdom of the Crescent Moon. While the earl was not considered particularly high in status, as there were marquis and dukes in the kingdom, Su Mo, a small Earl, was so wealthy that countless marquises and dukes couldn’t compare.

Some of Su Mo’s inventions earned him an enormous amount of wealth. However, becoming rich wasn’t his most significant accomplishment during the past two decades.

After standing on the balcony for a while, Su Mo re-entered the palace. With a slight movement of his hand, the palace gate closed, and numerous magic lines lit up on the wall, completely sealing off the entire palace. Even if a nuclear bomb exploded inside the palace, no sound would be heard outside.

After sealing off the palace, Su Mo drew out a hexagram array with a swipe of his finger. In the middle of the hexagram, a black hole rapidly formed. Su Mo stepped inside, and the black hole disappeared quickly, transporting him to a new location.

The ground beneath him was ancient and vast, with no sun in the sky, only a blood-coloured waning moon. The blood-red moonlight illuminated countless demons flying around on the ground. With Su Mo’s appearance, another breath emanated from the Abyss, and immediately all the demons shook.

“The Demon God has come!” they exclaimed, quickly falling to the ground and crawling with trembling limbs. Su Mo’s breath was too frightening, causing the demons to tremble involuntarily.

After Su Mo glanced over the demons, he quietly spread a pair of wings behind him and disappeared with a light flap. The demons breathed a sigh of relief one by one, but they didn’t dare to stand up until long after Su Mo had left.
