I Know the Secret to Surpass Level 100
Chapter 464: Thank You, Midnight

If Saitan summoned a gigantic magic circle that surrounded an entire fleet of flying ships, Mammon created one that surrounded the entire city where DuDu's castle was built on.

The Man took a couple of steps back as he watched Mammon create a smaller version of the magic circle under him. The latter raised both his hands as symbols were spewed out from the smaller magic circle.

Random symbols would go to Mammon and the man would absorb them while the others would return to the magic circle. This went on for a couple of seconds before both big and small magic circles vanished.

"Was that it?" the Man laughed, ridiculing Mammon's skill. "I honestly thought you'd fire a giant beam of light at me, but it seems like I was wrong. Time for you to die."

"Stead of the Champion."

The Man paused from raising his hand as he heard a galloping horses from behind him. He turned around and saw seven horses, running towards him at full speed.

"Oh, this is it?" the Man sighed. "How disappointing."

When he was about to fire a light cannon at the horses right before they reached him, the horses vanished like mist. He tilted his head to the side and felt a cold breeze past through him and the horses appeared again, this time they were behind him and were running towards Mammon.

"Hiya!" Mammon yelled, gripping one of the reins of the horses and mounting it. He was now riding a big black horse with streaks of glowing yellow crooked lines all over its body. "How will you defend now?"

The Man did not even bat an eye even when Mammon with his horde of horses are rallying against him. He only stood in the middle of the large hallway, looking straight in Mammon's eyes.

"You don't stand a chance against me. That's a fact," the Man said. He pointed his palm at his opponent. "Perilous Mercy."

In a blink of an eye, the entire hallway was filled with a powerful beam of light. The heat that radiated from the attack melted even the stone that was on the hallway, making that part of the castle crumble.

"Pitiful," the Man sighed. "I guess I'll–"

He paused when he still continues to heard the galloping noisee from the horses. This made the Man take a step back and raise his arms in defense. "Interesting. This is very interesting."

There was a thick black some that was left behind by his attack. Seven horses leaped out of the smoke, galloping closer to him. Each horse was wrapped with a spherical forcefield that protected them from the attack that was fired by the Man.

"You are an interesting prey," the man chuckled. He ran towards Mammon and used his hand to reach forward. Right before he made contact with the black horse, it vanished along with Mammon who was mounting it. "What?"

"Soul Receive!" Mammon yelled from behind him. The horde of horses behind him became mist and were sucked inside his body, making him glow with different colors. "Soul Slash!"

He swung his arm forward, in the middle of it, a sword appeared to which he gripped tightly. He slashed the sword right in front of the Man, creating a crescent-shaped attack that bursted the man out of the face of the planet.

Mammon leaped back, panting as the light from his attacks died down. "That was intense, but you forgot your place. You belong in the afterlife, not here."

"I don't belong there," the Man suddenly whispered.

Mammon widened his eyes and looked around, conjuring back his sword and raising it defensively. The Man wasn't in sight as Mammon felt his presence everywhere.

"I don't belong in a place where a weak ruler rules," the Man continued whispering. "I belong here, in this world, together with my APRIL."

The Man suddenly appeared in front of Mammon. The latter didn't react on time and he was too late to dodge the attack that was being fired at him. It was a ball of aura that disrupted even the air that it passed through.

Mammon closed his eyes and accepted his fate. It was too late for him to do anything now. He was going to die.

"Blood Orchid."

An orchid that was made with blood blossomed in front of Mammon. This blocked the ball, making it spin a couple of times before vanishing in the air. "Who was that? Why did you help me?"

"It is I, brother," Saitan introduced himself, appearing from thin air. "I sensed that you're in danger. That is why I came here to help."

The Man launched himself and conjured two swords. The demon conjured their own and blocked the Man's attacks, creating sparks of aura every time their blade makes contact.

"Saitan," Mammon breathed out. "Thank god you came. Where is Leviathan?"

"Dead," Saitan said. "He died, I don't know the reason why."

"That does not matter," Mammon just shook his head. "After we deal with this guy, we need to go back to hell. This body would not last long."

"Where did you even got that body?" Saitan asked.

"He was apparently the Master of Wind," Mammon said. "I was roaming around the continent to replace a suitable host, and I saw his soul begging to go back so I made a pact. In exchange for a second life, I use his body for a period of time."

"How long do you have left?" Saitan asked to which Mammon answered with a shrug.

"Just a little over an hour," Mammon replied. "But it's enough time. I'll replace another host, then we'll open the gate to the Forsaken's Den. It may need two more of us."

"Only one more," Saitan said with a smirk. "I have met Irus, a Sin. If we ask him, he can help. His power is still tremendous, so he may be able to fill up those two spots."

"Okay," Mammon nodded. "Let's finish this fight first. Docile Lance!"

Mammon launched himself in the air, morphing his sword into a lance where he piereced the ground multiple times in under a second. Meanwhile, Saitan slashed his sword and created a blood line in the air.

The blood spilled and created blood swords, about three hundred of them as they formed a sphere around the Man. After Mammon fired his attack, Saitan launched his swords at the Man.

"Inferior Composure."

The swords stopped and the slashes were seen in the air as though time stopped around the man. Both demons' eyes widened as they watched the man fire their attacks back at them.

"What?!" they chorused, blocking their own attacks. Both of the demons fell into the ground when they felt a tingling sensation.

They looked at each other in disbelief. Saitan gulping, "I-It can't be."

"You said he was dead," Mammon whispered. "Why is he here?"

"The strongest Deathly Prince," Saitan said. "Leviathan of Envy."

"It's time," Leviathan spoke to his host. "I saved you and your brother in your village when you were small. You made a pact with me and used my power so you could protect your family. Now, it's time for me to protect mine."

"Okay," his host said, letting him take over his body. "I already said farewell to my brother anyway. Thank you, Leviathan. It was a good life."

"Thank you for this chance…" Leviathan trailed off as he slowly took over. "Midnight."
