I, the Weakest Traveler, Start by Taming the gods of the Old World. -
Chapter 74: Come at me
After pondering about the goddess' true motive, Ha Joon finally gave up. If anything, replaceing out more about the goddess will take more than just simple knowledge from the system.
Now standing in the middle of the white vast room, Ha Joon had a couple of profile displays hovering around him.
[Merlin: Greatest mage in Camelot.
Ability: Elemental magic (56% Sure), Beast summoning (13% sure).
Strength level: Average (4/4 stars)]
Another once hovered close to it.
[Artoria: The king of Camelot.
Ability: Blade mastery (13% sure.), super human ability (40% sure.)
Strength level: Weak (2/4 stars).]
///
[Mordred: The Rebellious Knight.
Ability: Blade mastery (35% sure), Slash-Slash(50% sure.)
Strength level: Average (1/4 stars)]
'Uhn, hmmm, eh, okay, these seem bad for some reason, but I can't quite put my finger on it.'
Ha Joon Kim said to himself, his hand on his jaw as he stared at the templates.
[The stats of each avatar are based on the knowledge you have about their abilities.]
'That makes sense, no wonder Merlin's stats looks more impressive, I've trained with her so I kinda have a handle on her abilities, but I haven't seen Artoria battle before, I've only heard stories.'
He sighed.
'In any case, the quest was to defeat at least three of these avatars, correct?'
[Certainly]
'Welp, very well then.'
Ha Joon stared at the seven templates hovering around him, each one a different character he had encountered.
Then one profile suddenly struck his eyes.
[False demigod: The Trio.
Ability: Unstoppable Charge (90% sure.) strength (78% sure).
Strength level: High (4/4 stars).]
'Ohhh, my good buddy Bulls man. I haven't spoken to him since I tamed him, now seems like a better time than any.'
Ha Joon looked to the front, the template around him disappearing.
With his hand stretched out, he uttered -
"Come, your master requests your presence, False demigod of the beast."
As he uttered calmly, a faint light shone a few distance away, and from the light birth three of the bulls, standing in front of Ha Joon.
'It worked.' Ha Joon smiled a bit.
"Why have you summoned us?" The middle bull asked.
"We thought you had no use for us anymore, locking us within you was your last step of mercy towards us, have you come to kill us completely?" The left bulk added.
"Well no, that's way too much negativity, just thought I would bond with you guys since I haven't."
Ha Joon leaped up a bit, his body hovering about the ground as he sat like a monk, his fist under his jaw.
"Or do you have a problem bonding with your master?" he asked.
"Of course not, I personally want you to spend as much time as you can with us. It can get pretty lonely." The bull to the right said, dragging his feet on the ground.
"Hey! Don't speak as such, but you are right, you defeated us, and still spared our lives, that alone already makes you worthy enough to be our master, and thus we have no objections." The middle beast confessed.
Ha Joon smiled,
"I'm glad then. Now I have a couple questions imma need you guys to answer for me."
"Questions?"
"Oh yes definitely, firstly, how many gods have you encountered?"
The three bulls stared at each other for a while, trying to remember.
"We don't have a fixed knowledge on this, most gods in Tervet are well reserved, and rarely socialize. But estimated around 30." one of the bulls responded.
'Tervet 'is the name of the continent we are actually on, makes one wonder how many more continents there are. In my old world, it's best to say continents play a huge role when it comes to diplomacy. But in any case, I don't want to press them further with questions, I'll replace that one out myself, three bulls should amount to three avatars, smart way to clear the quest if you ask me.'
Ha Joon's foot touched the ground,
"I have yet another request."
"Whatever you need as our master."
"Battle me, think of it as training. I'll be sure to reward you guys later." Ha Joon pulled off his jacket and wrapped it around his waist.
"You want us to battle you?"
"Did I stutter?"
The bull stared at each other for a while.
"If you wish, then we will abide."
"Good, now then…" Ha Joon's body began to generate Ankia energy around him, "Come at me".
…..
The blue glowing door opened up, and Ha Joon calmly walked out.
The first thing he noticed was Yukio and Sinex, sleeping on the ground with their backs facing one another.
Sigh ~
"Did they end up fighting till they fell asleep?" Ha Joon spoke, "What ever will they do without me in their life."
He gently picked them up and placed them on his bed .
After that, he made his way outside, heading towards Artoria to get a brief narrative on what she was able to discuss with the minister of finance before he could think of a next step.
But just as he got to the entrance of Artoria's office, the Dame Belinda was standing there too, with three knights behind her.
Slowly, their gaze locked.
'Isn't that one of the knights under Artoria?' Ha Joon thought to himself.
For a second there he felt it, his perception skill hinting him at the danger in front of him.
Yes— there was a severe death intent aimed towards him.
"H-Hey there." Ha Joon smiled at Belinda, with a simple wave of his hand.
Belinda stared at him for a while, and eventually -
"Good day to you, Lord Ha Joon." She greeted with a bow of her head.
"Right, if you're also here to see Artoria, then I can let you do your business first. Okay, bye."
Ha Joon turned around, and as soon as he was about to take a step, Mordred showed up in front of him.
"Uhh? Where are you going? The king is in there," Mordred asked.
At first she noticed the somewhat wary look on Ha Joon's face, and then, she spotted Belinda, staring at Ha Joon with so much malice.
"Ohh, I see. Traveler, turn around, I'll be done with this in a sec." Mordred uttered as she began to take steps towards Belinda.
