Leveling Up With My Pet
Chapter 165 This Can't Be True!

An automobile bulk carrier sailed toward the domestic space on a specific route from the domestic area to RB.

The weather was clear, the sky was blue, and there were no big waves in the vast sea. The 80,000-ton ship was fully loaded with expensive cars imported from RB, making it valuable cargo.

After two hours, Bawang arrived in the area and quickly located the ship.

"It should be," said Overlord after confirming that it was the correct ship. Overlord then followed the vessels at a distance of several hundred meters to the right.

Meanwhile, Liu Yong arrived at the company, sat on the boss's chair, and reviewed several documents and reports. He drank a cup of hot tea and checked the time, thinking about when Luo Maoyuan would call and whether Bawang had arrived.

It was already ten o'clock in the morning, and Liu Yong speculated that Luo Maoyuan would not call, indicating that he needed to be taught a lesson.

At this moment, Bawang's voice interrupted his thoughts, "Master, I have found that ship, please confirm it for me."

Liu Yong immediately opened the third-party field of vision and clearly saw the Bawang and the ship that was only a few hundred meters away from it.

He then took out a document from the desk drawer containing information about Risheng Ocean Shipping Group's "Venus" and compared it carefully with the ship in view.

The car bulk carrier sailing on the sea had the logo of Risheng Group and the two prominent white characters "Golden Star" on the hull, making it very recognizable.

"Well, it is it, there is no mistake, this is the Jinxing automobile bulk carrier of Risheng Group, with a full load displacement of more than 80,000 tons, and it has been in use for less than two years. It is almost a new ship," confirmed Liu Yong.

Liu Yong told Overlord, "It's this ship. Pass by a little bit, don't be discovered, and poke a few big holes for me." Overjoyed, Overlord swam over with a giant spear in hand and reached the bottom of the ship.

Without further ado, it poked a hole in the bottom of the ship. However, Overlord realized something was wrong and pulled out all the giant spears. Immediately, a large amount of diesel oil flowed out of the big hole, and seawater poured in.

In fact, it was not a fuel tank but an oil depot that the spear had pierced.

An 80,000-ton ship often carries thousands of tons of diesel as a power fuel. Bawang arrived at a position to the vessel's side and quickly poked a big hole with a giant spear, and seawater poured in through the hole.

In just two or three minutes, Overlord had pierced a total of five large holes in the bottom of the ship. Except for the first blow that hit the ship's oil depot, the other four holes showed no abnormalities.

Overlord quickly moved away, pulling away a distance of nearly a kilometre and watched as the ship struggled to stay afloat. Some crew members wore life jackets and hurriedly got down to the lifeboat.

"I have done it, damn!" exclaimed Overlord as the ship began to sink.

Risheng Ocean Shipping Group.

Jiang Shunli felt increasingly uneasy after a senior executive asked him whether the two shipwrecks that occurred yesterday were linked to Universal.

They also expressed their concern about the possibility of another shipwreck happening today. Jiang couldn't shake off this anxiety, so he knocked on Luo Maoyuan's door and entered his office.

"Boss Luo," Jiang said nervously.

Luo Maoyuan looked up from his desk, his face severe and gloomy. "What's wrong?" he asked.

Jiang hesitated, needing to learn how to broach the topic.

"I have a feeling that the two shipwrecks yesterday may really be related to Universal Corporation," he finally said.

"I have a vague feeling that something like this may happen again today."

Luo Maoyuan waved his hand dismissively.

"No, it won't be related to Universal. They can't have such ability," he replied confidently.

"But..." Jiang started to say.

"Don't be silly," Luo Maoyuan interrupted.

"It won't have anything to do with Universal. At the beginning, Liu Yong said it casually, don't take it to heart. Today we will not have such a thing happen again."

Jiang nodded reluctantly, still feeling anxious. "All arrangements have been made, and all notifications have been made, but..."

"It's just something, if you have anything to say, just say it," Luo Maoyuan encouraged.

"Mr. Luo, I'm sorry, but I always feel like something like this might happen again," Jiang said, sounding worried.

Luo Maoyuan sighed. "Two shipwrecks in one day are once in a thousand years, and the probability of an event is very small. In my view, it is completely impossible for another shipwreck to happen today."

Jiang left Luo Maoyuan's office, still feeling uneasy, while Luo Maoyuan tried to reassure himself that Universal couldn't possibly have the ability to sink their ships.

"Can they sink your ship if they want to?" Luo Maoyuan thought to himself as he lit a cigarette.

"Impossible, impossible," he said in a skeptical way.

As he took two puffs of his cigarette, the sound of his ringing cell phone interrupted Luo Maoyuan's moment of relaxation.

With a sense of foreboding, he answered the call to hear Jiang Shunli's terrified voice on the other end of the line.

"Mr. Luo, you're out of the army again. Our 'Venus' has just sunk, and there were over a thousand imported vehicles on board. The cars are all gone."

The news took Luo Maoyuan aback. He shook his hand, causing the cigarette to fall from his grasp, but he didn't even notice it. He shouted into the phone,

"This can't be true! There must be some mistake!"

Jiang Shunli's voice was shaking with emotion as he responded, "Mr. Luo, I wish it weren't true, but it is. The ship has sunk, and all the cargo is lost."

In anger and frustration, Luo Maoyuan's expensive phone slipped from his grasp and shattered on the ground.

Liu Yong, who had been watching the events unfold through a third-party vision, couldn't help but feel satisfied.

He thought to himself, "If only Luo Maoyuan had given in to me yesterday and begged for mercy, none of this would have happened. That ship would never have sunk."

As the ship sank lower and lower into the sea, Bawang, who had been waiting patiently for over an hour, suddenly spoke up.

"Master, which ship should I target next? I'm ready to go."

The tense atmosphere was palpable as they contemplated their next move.
