Luna's Deadly Deception: How She Made Her Alpha Pay -
Chapter 118
I'm all ears. She shot back, sounding more attentive now.
By the time I was done briefing her on everything she needed to do, she slowly nodded her head.
I'll make sure I handle this seamlessly.
I trust you can do it, I replied before ending the link.
I turned my focus back to Mody who was ranting and complaining to Askhan about something I'd apparently done.
"Can you imagine that? I only asked her to come get her things from the quarters. The next thing, she barged into here and started smashing things. When I tried to correct her and get her to stop, she started throwing all sorts of slurs at me. You have no idea what I've put up with here."
"I can't believe this." Askhan sighed.
"I know right." Mody huffed.
Askhan chuckled drily. "Is that palace hers? Because I see no reason why she would do such a thing. I feel part of the blame is with me. I let other people move in when obviously, they didn't deserve the respect I accorded them."
"I bel—" Mody tried to speak but Askhan cut her off.
"I'll be there soon. Just wait for me."
Askhan ended the call after that. Mody set her phone aside and turned to Bella and Madison. She had a weird glint in her eyes as she regarded them.
"Now girls, it's time to give this place a little redecorating." She grinned.
They all seconded that and began making their way into the house. Not a second later, I heard the sound of glass smashing. Then another piece. And another.
It didn't take much for me to put two and two together. They were destroying the house and making sure to throw everything into debris.
"What about this piece?" Madison piped up.
"Oh." Mody's voice had taken a sinister turn. "That's part of the bitch's collection. Make sure to smash that one into smithereens.
"Got it." Madison smirked.
She raised her bat, about to break the painting into pieces. Mody's eyes widened in realization and she quickly held out a hand.
"Wait!" She yelled.
Madison froze. "What is it?"
"The pieces in her collection are really expensive and valuable." Mody let out a breath.
"You're right about that." Bella scoffed. "Those are antique paintings. Worth a shit ton of money. We can't just break them."
"Then we'll move them out." Mody suggested.
They all agreed to that and began moving the antiques out. That
wasn't the end of their dest
spree though as they went on to break other valuables.
By the time the sound ended, Askhan was already at the door. As soon as he entered the house, his lips pressed into a thin line.
The whole house was in shambles, and worst of all, I was supposedly behind all of this. He looked around, stepping away from the shards of glass that littered the floor
"Askhan." Mody immediately rushed over to him. "I'm so glad that you're here."
"What happened?" He asked. Madison butted in and immediately began to explain.
"It's Thea. She's crazy I swear. She just started smashing and breaking everything. We tried to stop her but..."
"So she just went crazy?" Askhan asked. "For no reason at all."
"She heard that you were going to choose a wife and that got her mad." Madison
said, feigning a broken look on her face.
"Talk about crazy. I can't believe she's actually nuts to do that." Bella huffed, shaking her head.
I waited, expecting Askhan to lash out in anger or something along the lines of that. So far so good, nothing.
"She really did that?" Askhan asked, an amused look in his eyes.
He looked oddly calm for someone that heard such a news. Mody and Madison were eyeing him carefully, wondering why he didn't look pissed yet.
"Well yes. We just explained that."
Then the smile bloomed on his face. It wasn't anything to big but it was definitely there. I couldn't control my anger at seeing him smile.
He must think it meant I cared about him. That was the reason for that nauseating smile plastered on his face.
Madison's patience finally snapped. "What punishment are you going to give her now?"
He ignored her for a while, simply regarding the three women. "There's no such thing as a chosen princess."
Madison looked dumbfounded and so did the other two. He ignored the look on their faces and began making his way to where I laid.
He got down on his knees, leaning over me as he examined the whole place. His eyes immediately flicked to the servants.
"I want you to restore this place to
its original state. All of Thea's possessions, her antiques, jewels and att of her concernment must be reinstated and returned to how it had originally been.
