Mitchell’s Revenge, Tiberion spaceport

Lucy, Em and Elena scrambled onboard Mitchell’s Revenge. Elena had struggled to keep up with them and wasbreathing heavily. The space door thumped closed behind them as they made theirway to the bridge. Flick was already undocking. Flex stood next to her. Grabband Lou sat exhausted on the floor, their long legs stretched out in front ofthem.

Jake had his arms around Anja. She clungto her half brother. He hugged her tightly and then stepped back to take aproper look at his kid sister. Her lycra suit was wet and the carefully appliedmake up had smudged around her eyes.

“You’re taller,” he said. Shesmiled at him.

“I knew you’d rescue me!” she said.“I just had to wait for a way to get a message to you. Elena helped me.”

“We know,” replied Jake. “Wefigured it out. Rescuing you today was actually easier than we thought it’dbe.”

He looked up as Lucy strode in,followed by Em and Elena. Jake grinned at them.

“You did it!” he said. He studiedthe rag tag group of people around him. “Well done everyone, and thank you.”

He looked at Lucy again, and hiseyes widened. “Oh wow! I never thoughtI’d see you in a cat suit!”

Lucy smiled at him and touched thetab at her wrist. Suddenly she was standing barefoot in her silver ball gown. Grinningfrom ear to ear, Grabb got up and moved next to her. He touched the tab at hiswrist and was clad in his tail suit. Lucy wriggled her toes and looked at herdance partner.

“At least you’ve got shoes on!”

They all laughed.

“Time to go home,” said Jake.
