Chapter 134  Leaving The Nest

Along with all the business expansion that Feng Clan was going through, there were another two most important events that were happening in the clan.

The first one was Feng Zhenshan who has gone to seclusion in order to break through the Three Elements Divine Realm.

He was already on the verge of reaching the Peak Of Grand Qi Condensation Realm and after reaching that stage and consolidating his realm, he could take the Elemental Ascension Pill that they got in the auction and try to break through to Three Elements Divine Realm.

Although it might take anywhere from one month to several months, it wasn't too long, especially for cultivators.

This was a chance for the Feng Clan to have another Three Elements Divine Realm beside Feng Chen.

If Feng Zhenshan succeeds, this will greatly boost the power of the Feng Clan.

Their dependence on Feng Chen would also decrease and even without Feng Chen, Feng Clan could be considered one of the strongest in the Eastern Region.

Feng Chen has also promised that he would give similar pills to other Grand Elders as well and encouraged them to increase their cultivation and reach Peak level as soon as possible.

There were many elders who could look after the Clan's affairs and didn't need Grand Elder's supervision. So all the Grand Elders also followed Feng Zhenshan and entered seclusion to increase their cultivation.

The other important event was the decision of Feng Mei and Feng Xiaoyu who had gotten offers to join the Icy Veil Sect.

Feng Mei talked with her adopted father who was surprised and happy for her but didn't tell her to accept or decline the offer.

It was not that he didn't care about her well-being but knew that it was her decision to make. Of course, joining would be good but even if not, Feng Clan was no longer what it used to be and could provide good resources for cultivation.

In any case, he felt that Feng Mei should decide on her own so as to have no regrets in the future.

"So, did you two decide?"

Feng Chen asked. Feng Mei and Feng Xiaoyu approached Feng Chen, having clearly made their decisions.

Feng Xiaoyu spoke up first. "I've decided to join the Icy Veil Sect." She said with determination. "I believe this is the right opportunity for me to expand my horizons, and the Icy Veil Sect seems like the best option for that. I want to grow stronger so I can better contribute to the Feng Clan in the future."

Feng Xiaoyu understood that leaving her comfort zone might not be easy, but she knew that in order to grow stronger, stepping beyond it was necessary.

She also didn't want to get left behind by others and hoped that joining the Icy Veil Sect would help her since they are one of the best sects in the world.

Feng Chen nodded thoughtfully. He respected her ambition to grow, and more importantly, he knew that, no matter what, one day they would all need to step beyond their familiar surroundings to truly understand the vastness of the world.

This was just her first step.

"I understand! The Icy Veil Sect is a powerful sect, and I'm sure you'll gain a lot from the experience. Just remember, you'll always have a place to return to."

Next, Feng Mei spoke, her voice steady but with a hint of resolve. "I will also join the Icy Veil Sect." She declared. "I have always admired the Icy Veil Sect Leader and hoped to become as strong as she is. With her guidance, I'm confident it will greatly benefit my cultivation."

"Moreover, after my time in Qingyun City, I realized that my experience is limited. To grow in cultivation, I need to broaden my horizons and gain more diverse experiences."

Feng Chen nodded.

Feng Chen smiled warmly at both Feng Xiaoyu and Feng Mei, his gaze filled with understanding.

Although it was sad to think about not seeing them for who knows how long, Feng Chen understood that in order to grow, one must eventually leave the nest.

"I know both of you will do great in the Icy Veil Sect." Feng Chen said.

"You have the determination, and with the Sect's guidance, I am sure you will grow even stronger."

Feng Chen then turned to Feng Yun, who had come with Feng Mei, observing the conversation. "Feng Yun, do you have something to say?"

Feng Chen asked.

Feng Yun stood up, his expression one of reluctance, as if he had done something wrong or was about to ask something unreasonable.

After a moment of silence, Feng Yun finally opened his mouth.

"Brother, I'm planning to train outside for a while," he continued, " And I don't know when I'll return."

Feng Yun hesitated for a moment, his mind racing with the reasons he had prepared. He thought that his brother would likely not approve of his decision without a good explanation. His request was different from Feng Mei and Feng Xiaoyu. Even if they were to leave, they would be in the safe hands of the Icy Veil Sect.

On the other hand, he wanted to travel alone.

"I know it's a bit sudden," Feng Yun began, lowering his gaze as he spoke. "But I believe that I need to venture outside the clan to further my training."

Of course, this was all planned with his master, and knew that along with training, he was going to get some treasures to further enhance his cultivation.

Although the Feng Clan environment is good for cultivation, it might not be good enough if he wants to defeat Ling Meiyu.

Following his master's advice, he decided to venture and train harder.

He paused, trying to gather his thoughts and choose the right words. He knew his brother would be concerned about the dangers of training alone, and he needed to convey that his intentions were serious and well thought out.

"I've been thinking about this for some time," Feng Yun continued, meeting Feng Chen's eyes.

"While I've made great progress here, I feel like there's a limit to what I can achieve within the Feng Clan. The world is vast, and there are many powerful cultivators out there with experiences I can't replicate in this safe environment. If I want to reach a higher level, I need to seek challenges beyond our borders… "

Feng Yun continued to say things like he would be fine and that he wouldn't do anything dangerous.

However, in reality, there was no need to explain so much to Feng Chen and Feng Chen could already guess to a certain extent why Feng Yun wanted to leave the clan and train outside.

In addition to that, Feng Chen knew that he had his master by his side and would be in safe hands.

"I see," Feng Chen replied, his voice steady. "Then you can go. However, always remember that Feng Clan has got you back!"

Feng Yun was slightly taken aback by Feng Chen agreeing to him without much question.

He didn't think that his word had managed to deceive Feng Chen about the true nature of his training.

Not questioning usually meant that Feng Chen already knew the full truth behind something.

He didn't know how or what his brother knew for him to agree so easily.

However, none of that matters. What matters is that his brother trusts him and agrees to his request.

And his last word just meant that there was no need to worry much and that if he was ever in trouble, Feng Clan would have his back.

Feng Yun felt truly grateful to his brother.

"Don't worry, I will!"
