My Son Might Be A Villain -
Chapter 99: extra 4
Her name was Su Ran, the eldest daughter of the Su family in City B, at least she used to be.
Before she turned 15, she had a crush on someone, an older brother who lived in the same courtyard. That person was very handsome, that person was always very aloof, that person was so outstanding in everyone's eyes, that person, his name was Song Zeyu.
The teenage girl didn't understand what love was yet, but she already considered that excellent older boy to be the prince of her heart. Love came out of nowhere, but Su Ran thought she should be in love with Song Zeyu.
Otherwise, she would not have been depressed because of his indifference and alienation, and she would not have been upset because a woman appeared by his side.
She would not have done so many crazy things.
Su Ran knew that some things were wrong, but she couldn't help but want to do them, to make Song Zeyu see how good she was, to let everyone know that she was better than that woman named Lin Xing'er, to let Song Zeyu know that that woman wasn't that good.
Unfortunately, everything she did was wrong.
At the age of 16, she experienced all the darkness in life.
She didn't seek death, because she was afraid of death. Sometimes she would think about just letting things be. How much worse could it get? Wasn't she already experiencing the worst of it?
Those who went to humiliate her may have found it boring, and gradually stopped humiliating her. Her life seemed to have really changed from being a young lady of the Su family to a "lady" who accompanied people drinking. But what does it matter?
Anyway, no one remembered her, and no one would care about her. In the news, she saw the news of the young master of the Song family getting married, with that woman.
She kept telling herself that it was fake!
Later, that woman gave birth to two children for Song Zeyu. She still refused to believe this fact.
Su Ran continued to tell herself that none of it was real, but she couldn't help but pay attention to the news about "Song Zeyu".
During that period, Lin Xing'er seemed to really enjoy letting everyone see that she was the young mistress of the Song family and that she was living a good life, so almost all the news about Song Zeyu during that period included Lin Xing'er and their child.
Later on, those news seemed to gradually die down. She no longer saw any news about Mrs. Song online, and it seemed that even Song Zeyu's news had decreased.
Perhaps showing off affection too much could also be tiring and numbing. Su Ran thought to herself.
Just like her, after feeling uncomfortable for a long time, she gradually became numb.
After some time, Su Ran felt as if the past and its people had nothing to do with her anymore. It seemed like a long time since she had thought about Song Zeyu.
That child never went home either. If he wasn’t coming back, then so be it. If she couldn’t see him, she wouldn’t have to think about the past anymore.
Su Ran comforted herself in this way. Su Ran generally tried her best not to accept work outside the office, knowing what it meant to go out to work.
However, when she heard the words "Dongshan Garden", she couldn't help but be tempted. She wanted to go there, but she didn't know what was driving her, whether it was to see the place or to see someone.
……
If she had known that would be the outcome, Su Ran thought she definitely would not have gone.
She wanted to live, even when faced with humiliation, she still wanted to live and escape from here.
Su Ran didn't think about what despair was.
Until the moment she saw the child, the moment she saw him push through the crowd and come over to her, she seemed to have stabbed herself with the knife without thinking much.
She probably let this child down. She brought him into this world, but made him suffer so much.
The child was very smart and sensible, but she didn't know how to get along with him. Sometimes, she was even afraid to see him.
That's good. Without her, Su Han should be able to live a good life.
It was cold. Su Ran felt a chill run down her spine.
She wasn't sure if it was because she was barely clothed at the moment, or if her blood was flowing too fast.
Maybe she really was dying. She must look terrible now…
Do you regret it? Yes, she regretted it.
If she hadn't come here, would she not have died? Would she still be alive, occasionally checking on Song Zeyu's news?
If she hadn't done so many foolish things for Song Zeyu back then, would there have been so many things that happened? Her parents would still be alive, and she would still be the eldest daughter of the Su family.
But if she had to do it all over again, would she really not love Song Zeyu anymore?
At the moment she closed her eyes, Su Ran thought to herself, with a sad smile, that this was her final farewell to this world.
……
"Miss Su, you asked me to play the piano and I played it, so why are you still doing this? I don't know what I did to offend you. Do you have to do this? Is it because I wasn't born into wealth like you?"
The woman in front of her was now standing in front of Su Ran, questioning her in a full voice of accusation. Such words seemed strong and independent, but they could easily make people hear the accusation and grievance in them.
Coupled with the woman's pitiful face, it was easy to arouse people's pity.
Lin Xing'er. Why did she have to see this terrible woman when she was about to die! This woman whom Su Ran feared and hated.
The torment of the past ten years had not made Su Ran strong or driven by hatred. That torment had only worn away all her sharp edges and the last bit of her courage.
Even if this was just an illusion before her death, Su Ran still wanted to turn around and escape.
Unfortunately, before Su Ran could leave, her wrist was forcefully grabbed by a hand. The intense pain in her wrist was so real that Su Ran even doubted if it was an illusion.
"Su Ran, what exactly are you trying to do?" A cold and disgusted voice growled at Su Ran.
Once, at that banquet at the Song family's, Su Ran had made a complete fool of herself. That was the beginning of her gradual descent into despair.
That had become a memory that Su Ran was extremely unwilling to recall, but unfortunately, that memory was like a nightmare that could not be erased from Su Ran's memory no matter what.
The scene and words before her were all too familiar to Su Ran. Why?
Why did she have to let her go through the same situation again after she had already died?
Why did she have to see Song Zeyu again under such circumstances?
In the past few years, she had rarely paid attention to that man's news.
If you don't look, you won't have to remember, you won't have to be sad.
Su Ran thought that time had washed away everything, and had also erased her former madness and affection. It turned out that she was wrong.
If it had really faded, then why did her heart still ache so much at this moment when she saw this man standing in front of her again, just like in her memory?
Without a fight, Su Ran stood like a block of wood, her gaze as dead as she looked at the person in front of her.
Before she died, let her take one last look. Look at this man whom she had loved her entire life.
Su Ran looked straight at Song Zeyu. She wanted to open her eyes wide to take a last look at this person, but unfortunately, tears streamed down uncontrollably, blurring Su Ran's vision.
She wanted to wipe it away, but she didn't dare to move. She was afraid that if she moved, the last illusion in front of her would disappear.
Seeing Su Ran like this, a look of horror also appeared on Song Zeyu's face. Because they lived in the same place and because of some business dealings with the Su family, he would sometimes inevitably meet this young lady from the Su family.
He didn't know when it started, but in his mind, this girl had already been labeled as arrogant, brainless, annoying, and disgusting. Su Ran had yelled at him, made a fuss, and even pretended to cry like those silly girls.

However, this was the first time that this girl had cried like this in front of him. Unlike Lin Xing'er's aggrieved and vulnerable appearance, which made people want to protect her, even if she wasn't crying.
At that moment, Su Ran's eyes were wide open. Her face was expressionless, but tears fell like a broken dam, helpless, desperate, and seemingly carrying too many complex emotions that were difficult to understand.
Such crying, although silent, carried a power that shook people's hearts.
"You…" Song Zeyu opened his mouth and looked at Su Ran in front of him in surprise. For a moment, he didn't know what to say. Song Zeyu was at a loss when faced with Su Ran like this.
Did he really do something wrong?
For a moment, Song Zeyu doubted his previous attitude towards Su Ran. He suddenly felt like he was bullying a little girl. Su Ran was willful, overbearing, and her actions were unpleasant, but, after all, she was just a fifteen or sixteen-year-old girl.
Song Zeyu frowned and was about to say something when Su Ran seized the opportunity while Song Zeyu was thinking. She struggled and pulled her hand out of Song Zeyu's grip, then instinctively took a step back.
Why is everything I do wrong? Why do you still think I'm wrong when I did nothing wrong? Why do you believe Lin Xing'er but not me? Why…do you dislike me so much?
Su Ran had asked herself these questions countless times over the past decade. She always thought that if she could see that man again one day, she would definitely ask him clearly.
However, at this moment, when facing Song Zeyu once again, Su Ran didn't want to ask these questions.
The commotion here had already attracted the attention of everyone at the banquet. Just like before, Song Zeyu held her hand and asked her why she hurt Lin Xing'er. Everyone around thought that she had thrown the water on Lin Xing'er.
What would happen next? Song Zeyu would make her leave, she would be kicked out.
Was it embarrassing? She had already experienced more embarrassing things, so what did it matter now?
Looking at Song Zeyu, Su Ran suddenly smiled in despair.
“Do you know how long it’s been?”
"It's been so long, so long that I don't know if I still love you or if it's just become an obsession."
But it didn't matter anymore, the man still married Lin Xing'er. After marriage, they had a pair of twins, Lin Xing'er was a qualified Mrs. Song, she always told others that she was very happy…
Finally, Su Ran raised her arm and haphazardly wiped away the tears that blurred her vision, turned around, and ran out of the Song family's banquet hall.
At that moment, Su Ran's consciousness seemed to be sealed off. She couldn't see anything in front of her, nor could she hear anything except the noise. She seemed to hear someone calling her. Was it Song Zeyu? Was he telling her to get lost?
“Beep——” It was as if a sharp sound had flashed through her mind.
Su Ran felt a blackout. So, was her time up?
"Miss, are you okay?" Before falling into darkness, Su Ran heard a strange voice by her ear, which seemed very nervous.
……
Later, Su Ran woke up from her coma.
It took Su Ran two weeks to finally understand the fact that she had been reborn.
Two months later, Su Ran begged her father and mother, who were going on a business trip to the US, to take her with them. Later, Su Ran finished her studies abroad.
It wasn't until seven years later, when she received a phone call from her parents, that she heard that Su's second and third uncles had been held seriously accountable for several construction site accidents, and that she should go back and visit.
Strangely enough, during those seven years, she had not heard any news of Song Zeyu and Lin Xing'er getting married. There were still some gossips about Lin Xing'er and the young master of the Song family, but later, this person seemed to have disappeared from Song Zeyu's story.
She heard that five years ago, the young master of the Song family almost went into a vegetable state for some reason. Later, Song Zeyu didn't seem to take over Song Corporation and become its chairman as he did in his memory from his previous life.
She heard that he seemed to have gone to many places, many countries…
Even today, when Su Ran thought back to Song Zeyu, her heart still ached with a dull pain. It existed, but not so strongly.
However, none of that mattered anymore. Everything about Song Zeyu was no longer related to her.
"Wife, don't worry, I checked, the Su family's accidents have nothing to do with your parents, and hasn't Dad been running his own business these past few years? It won't be affected, tomorrow we'll take Xiao Pan'er back together."
Behind her, the man gently hugged Su Ran in his arms, comforting her. Gu Zizhou, her husband.
It was also the man who had caught her when she had fainted at the Song family's doorstep seven years ago.
Su Ran never thought that in the end, this man would accompany her to do business in the United States, and here, he had accompanied her for seven years.
A year ago, Gu Zizhou proposed to her at her graduation ceremony. A year after their marriage, just a few months ago, their first child was born.
It wasn't Su Han that child, it was a daughter.
Author's note: It was a bit difficult writing about the original character. I didn't know how to start writing, and I felt a bit sour when I wrote about some parts. Regardless, I think I gave the original character a good ending.
Seeing everyone's comments, it seems like some of you want to see more of "Su Han's" extras? Then here's a preview~ Tomorrow I'll write about "Su Han's" five-day trip to this world~ Plus some scenes of him interacting with father Lu after he returns~~
