Chapter 35: Am I Cheating? (2)

After my date with Senior Rizal ended, he sent me home personally. As usual, he would stop in front of my dorm, but that night, he parked his bike and got off. He stood tall in front of me. Looking at his unusual stature, I frowned.

Then, without saying anything, he pulled me into his embrace -this time, he hugged me tightly.

“Se-senior?” I called out to him.

“Thank you for today. I’m so happy with you. And I’m sorry. No matter what happened, I still love you.” He mumbled behind his helmet, but still clear on my ears. “But, let’s break up.” He said firmly.

*Thump...

I stiffened in his embrace. My heart started to beat irregularly. What did he say?

Break up?

.....

“Ah, I can’t do it. I am not willing to break up with you. How could I let you go? I take it back! I don’t want to break up from you!” He said again, sounded unwilling to really break up with me.

Before I could react, he had pushed himself away from me, releasing his hug from me and turned to get on his bike. “I need to go before I start to get any ideas again. Bye.” He smiled at me as he started the engine.

I nodded and waved at him as I watched him disappeared in the night. I had not had a chance to say any words to him at all and he just left me like that.

I took a deep breath and turned my heels to walk into the house of my dorm. The dorm was surprisingly quiet. It was like all of them were out at this particular time or had already fallen asleep. As my steps approached the stairs to the second floor, I could feel the chill air coming from the next floor.

I sighed in defeat. Pacifying Tom was not an easy task, not when I openly broke our agreement; Senior Rizal could have me when I was in campus and when I didn’t have class, I belonged to him, Tom. At most he would tolerate me with Senior Rizal was until four to five in the afternoon. And now, it was almost nine...

I gulped hard. Should I face him now? When he was upset, Tom could be really scary. His transparent body would emit cold air and his eyes would be the scariest of all. His eyes would turn cold and red streak would tint the pupil of his eyes. I always had a goosebumps every time I met those kind of eyes.

Gritting my teeth and steeling my heart, I stepped up. As I got closer to my room, the chilling aura thickened. I gulped again one more time before I opened my door.

A blast of icy air hit my face as soon as I stepped into my room. Enduring his rage, I closed my door and turned on my lamp. “I’m home...” I said weakly.

I saw him sitting on my bed, his arms were crossed in front of his chest. His eyes glared daggers at me. The red tint was there and it looked especially scary with his expression.

Why do I feel like I was caught cheating on him?

Since he knew about my relationship with Senior Rizal, it wouldn’t count as cheating, right?

“Do you know when I really wish to have a body?” Without moving an inch, his cold voice asked me.

“N-no?” I answered weakly.

“First, when I really want to touch you, kiss you, make love to you. Second, when you go out that door and meet that bastard who had monopolized your time again today. Third, when you break the rules we both have set up, to punish you for your disobedience.” He said through his gritted teeth.

It seemed like...this time, I could not escape!
