"Do you replace your current form to be overwhelming?" Kuzunoha tilted her head.

"Not to me, but to anyone that I interact with in my current form." My hands grabbed a handful of my silky silverish hair. The sensation was similar to trying to grasp a comprehensive body of liquid due to how smooth and soft it was. "I can see that you're trying your best to keep your mind sane, my lovely secretary.

You have been really fidgety and blushing like crazy since you saw this version of me."

"As someone who is bound to your will, it is the least I can do to maintain my own sanity and dignity~"

"But not everyone is the same as you." I pointed. "Now that I'm not lacking in brain cells anymore, I can tell that my current form is much more sensitive and responsive to my consciousness. In that regard, I still want to be able to go back to this form whenever I need it.

"But when it comes to future negotiation and social activity, this Valtherion form might prove to be more of a nuisance than a blessing.

"Not to mention, I replace great practicality in my original size and appearance. I'm also going to miss my adorable face, you see?"

"Consider your will to be coming to a reality then, darling~" Kuzunoha began sending numerous spells and conceptual tools of magic directly to me through the soul connection that we established.

"However, since this will be my first attempt to establish a switchable dimensional vessel, it will take more than half a day, especially since I need both bodies to synchronize themselves directly into your complicated soul." Your journey continues at мѵʟ

"Magnificent. I expected the process to be counted in days instead of hours."

"You're in the presence of a genius of an unparalleled degree, my Narcissus darling~" Kuzunoha confidently smirked as she opened one arm and gracefully placed the other on her chest. "One that doesn't need to be rewarded, for she deem her current opportunity to be a blessing of a lifetime."

"Oh, how would I do without you~"

Now that I had the minimum mental capacity to recall things and churn my thinking gear, I took a deep breath as I masked my relief with a smile.

We did it, we subdued the seemingly unbeatable and invincible Qliphoth Object.

Sure, Kuzunoha definitely contributed the most since she was the whole key to the operation, but I would like to think of myself as a reliable and indestructible soul.

I didn't know if it was because of my increasing sensitivity to emotion, but the feeling of pride and accomplishment had embroidered itself on the spacious corner of my heart.

All that aside, my current Valtherion form was the result of my body being minced nonstop until my golden blood decided to just impart the rest of the traits and DNA of the Valtherion into the reconstruction of my body.

And because of that, the spell that Kuzunoha cast to make my own blood foreign to my vessel had dissipated.

Meaning that my body would no longer heal inside that realm if I were to suffer a single fatal damage.

Just the thought of my dumbass self manning a powerful vessel in that high risk scenario gave me goosebumps.

Thankfully, this body was durable to endure all of those crazy attacks.

Makes me wonder why the Valtherion race got extinct in the first place.

"This makes me impatient to see those folks' reaction when seeing this version of you." Kuzunoha sang. "So, what reason should we give to make them rationalize this?"

I for one, didn't want myself to be known publicly related with this body, considering that it would lead to some complication that would require me to be seen as this one powerhouse of a titan for a lot of occasions.

My future vision was to gain a large and meaningful influence over my seemingly non-threatening yet lovable figure who had the power to heal all ailments with her bodily liquid. In this vision, I planned to have someone like Verina to be the powerhouse figure.

So if possible, I only want my real identity as a Valtherion to be only known by Kuzunoha.

Afterall, there was a possibility that I might be capable of controlling my 'fairy' form and 'Valtherion' form individually like a puppet—if my understanding of 'dimensional organ', or in this case, 'vessel', was correct.

"Introduce me to the rest of the crew as your longtime acquaintance," I suggested to my gothic-fashioned secretary. "We will act as if Narcissus is currently dealing with something important and private."

"Should I try masking the signature of your soul then?" Kuzunoha snapped her fingers.

"Are you assuming that someone in our group is capable of identifying people through their soul?"

"Verina will soon be grasping the needed comprehension of arcane leylines to be able to delve into the realm of souls and spiritual planes." Kuzunoha spoke like a proud teacher. "She might be able to discern a hint of it there and there at this stage. Better be meticulous in our commitment if you want to go this path, don't you think so?"

"Sure, I'll leave that matter to you then."

"I will also try to blur your signature psionic charm so that Verina won't replace out right away."

"Huh, good reminder."

"And before we finally go." Kuzunoha weaved her hand in a pattern as if she was drawing something in the air.

Gradually, a large body of arcane fog began enwrapping me, before transforming into that of a complete set of apparel.

"Oh my."

A long, dark trench coat served as the centerpiece, its high collar framing my neck, while the hemline brushed the ground. The fabric itself seemed shifting from deep midnight to a shadowy charcoal, embroidered with intricate patterns of silver crosses and abstract symbols.

Beneath the coat, a fitted vest and blouse clung to my torso. The sleeves of the blouse were loose, giving it the same impression akin to that of a robe.

A wide belt cinched the waist, from which hung various pouches and holsters for adventuring tools, as well as a short, flowing skirt that flared out just enough for freedom of movement.

My legs were covered by thigh-high, lace-up boots, which was stylish and yet surprisingly practical enough to move around in this physique. Was it because of the material?

The finishing touch was a pair of dark gloves, the fingers tipped with silver, making them both practical and ornamental. Following the theme, was a single, delicate cross pendant hung from a choker around my neck, completing the look with a subtle hint of faith… or eccentricity, depending on who was looking.

A work was also magically done to style my overgrown hair, not letting it to caress the ground anymore.
