Chapter 17: The Police Arrive At Jim's MC

I held her hand as we walked into the kitchen. We walked over and picked up plates and put what we wanted on them. I noticed that she did not eat much but when it came to bacon, she, piled her plate.

We walked over to the table and a prospect brought her coffee. In the middle of eating doc said, "Kelly if you come to my office after you finish eating, I will examine you.' I will be there with bells on she said smiling. She had a beautiful smile.

We had a small talk about how things were going when a prospect walked in and told Jim that the police were here and wanted to talk to him. We watched as he stood up rinsed his plate and took a cup of coffee with him.

I met the officer in the club and said, "I hear you want to talk to me." Yes, can we talk in your office? Sure, follow me. As I sat down behind my desk and the officer sat in a chair across from me, I asked what he wanted to talk to me about.

I received a report that Richard Johnston's girlfriend Kelly is missing. I laughed and said officer Kelly is my adopted sister. She is not missing. She is here. She came to me almost three weeks ago after Richard beat and kicked her.

She was receiving medical treatment by the doctor I have on staff here. He even had to operate on her due to her having internal bleeding and we almost lost her that night. I can have my doctor talk to you and show you her medical report.

I would also like to talk to Kelly. That is fine too. I opened the door asked a prospect to send doc here with Kelly's medical report, and have Kelly come in as well.

There was a knock on the door and Doc and Kelly walked in. Officer this is Kelly, and this is my doctor. Kelly and doc sat down and looked at the officer. I received a report that you were missing. Are you being held here or are you here of your own free will Kelly?

I came here after my ex-boyfriend nearly killed me. I was on bed rest for two weeks. So, no I am not being held here against my will. Jim is my adopted brother. Here officer this is a copy of her medical record. We watched him read the report and look at the pictures.

Why did you not report this to the police Kelly? Because Richard is a con and can make you believe that he did not do that to me. He would tell you someone else did it. So why would I make a report to you?

I have a few times in the past and you did nothing about it. You let him leave and came home and beat me again. So, no I did not make an assault report. Besides, I was not able to get out of bed and go to the police station.

I am leaving Florida to move back to Ohio. I do not want anything more to do with Richard. So, you can report back to him that I am fine and not being held hostage by Jim and his MC. Can you also tell him I do not want to see him or talk to him? I would appreciate that.

After reading this report and seeing the pictures I understand. Thank you for talking to me and letting me know you are not being held hostage and that you want no contact with Richard. We all shook his hand and Jim walked the officer to the door.

Jim walked back into his office and said, "Kelly the officer said that someone should beat the shit out of Richard for what he did to you." I told the officer that I wish that I could, but I would rather they handle Richard. That we want to remain out of trouble. Then he left.

I do not think that we will be bothered by the police again. By the way doc, how was her examination? She has a good bill of health other than she still needs to gain at least 25 more pounds. Well, I guess that we will be leaving this weekend and heading to Savages MC.

Berserk is looking forward to getting back to his club. He has gotten behind on his paperwork. Well, I guess I will let you do what you must do. I am going to my room to lay down for a while. On your way to your room can you ask Berserk and Savage to come to my office? Sure, I said kissing Jim on his cheek.

I walked down the hall and stopped at the VIP table. Jim wants you guys to go to his office. Oh, and he is probably going to talk about why the police were here. I am going to our room and lay down for a nap. I turned and walked down the hallway to our room. Once inside I shut and locked the door before taking my shoes off and climbing into bed.

We walked into Jim's office and sat down. We heard the police were here. It's worked out. Richard tried to make it look like she was being held hostage by us before coming here. But she told the officer to let him know she does not want to see him again.
