Chapter 2: The Viking MC Hide Kelly

I slowly opened my eyes. Doc I need Jim to hide my car. He cannot replace me. I am leaving him this time for good. I plan on moving to Ohio. I will let him know.

Now let me give you a pain shot so you do not feel the pain from me wrapping your ribs. Do what you must do. I appreciate it doc. . I can not do this anymore. Please do not tell him I am here. I know he will come here looking for me.

Do not worry Kelly. If he comes here, he will be lucky to leave here still breathing. As he started to wrap my ribs I screamed. I gave her a muscle relaxer to help her sleep after I finished wrapping her ribs.

I could not believe the pain shot had not worked. Something else must be going on. I walked out to the bar and it was quiet. Well, how is she?

Not good. He choked her, beat her with a belt, I had to put in 25 stitches, she has two broken ribs and three bruised ribs. She has bruises over 75% of her body.

It looked like he used her for a punching bag. He also kicked her. He almost killed her this time She is malnourished as if she is not eating enough.

She asked that you hide her car and not tell him she is here. She said she is leaving him for good. She is moving back to Ohio. I turned and looked at the prospect who ran in and got me.

Take her car and hide it. Five minutes later he walked in said that he parked her car in the garage at the end of the property. If she is driving that to Ohio, she will need work done on it first.

We do not want her to end up stranded somewhere. I sat drinking when my VP Reaper walked in. Why the hell is it so tense in here you can cut it with a knife he asked?

Kelly is in the docs office. Why? He nearly killed her. I stood up and walked to the doc's office to look at Kelly. She means a lot to Jim and me.

When I saw her face and throat, I was furious. I walked back to the table and looked at Jim. What else is wrong with her? The more I heard the more I wanted to kill him.

He will come here looking for her. I know that I said. I do not want him touched when the bastard does come. I looked at Reaper. We will deal with him when the time is right. But no one is to let him know she is here.

I looked at the time and said we all need to get to bed. Doc are you sure she will sleep through the night? Yes, I am sure. Good, prospect make the rounds and make sure that we do not get any unwanted company.

I doubt he will sneak around here at night but if he is desperate to get her back he could be stupid. He knows he could get killed. I want you to check in on Kelly every 30 minutes.

I will make sure she is fine I said watching Jim walk down the hallway. I looked at the clock and decided to walk around the compound. I made sure the door was locked when I walked out.

I walked around making sure no one was watching or on the property before walking back inside. I walked around making sure the windows were all locked as well as the doors.

I walked down the hallway to the doc's office. I slowly opened the door and walked in. I walked over to the bed and looked down at her. She was beautiful but too skinny. I was angry at all her bruises.

She looked like she was 15 years old, but I knew she was older. I can see why Jim adopted her as his little sister. I wonder just how much money she has on her. I walked over and took her wallet out of her pocketbook.

I counted the money. She had $500.00. That is not enough to get her to Ohio and

to rent an apartment. Hell, it was not even enough to buy food and take care of her until she found a job.

I think that Jim needs to know about this. I put her wallet back and walked out the door shutting it gently behind me. I walked to the kitchen and made a cup of coffee. I then carried it and sat down at the table near the window. I looked out to the front of the club

I opened the book I was reading and drank my coffee. Soon the alarm went off on my watch. I turned it off and sat it for 30 minutes. I did my rounds and then checked on Kelly. She was still asleep. I walked back to the table and picked up my cup walking into the kitchen.
