Chapter 25: Kelly is being watched

As I hung up the phone Reaper asked what is wrong? I do not know but I can

smell a rat. What do you mean? Savage sounded different.

He said she was out with the Valkyrie. At this time of night? That is not like Kelly. If

we do not hear from her in a few days, we might have to make a trip.

I was sitting next to the window with the lights off. I did not notice I was being watched. I thought about the club how happy I was to be there.

To feel free, to lay in bed with my head on Savage's chest to hold his hand. But he had to kiss that woman. Then he acted like he did nothing wrong.

I wiped the tears from my face. I thought this time would be different. That a man would not lie to me, that he would protect me not hurt me. But he did hurt me. He hurt me in a different way.

I sat on my bike watching her. I saw her the first time from the restaurant. She works at the tattoo shop. She looked so sad. I also noticed the woman come in everyday and order her something to eat but she would always send her away.

I never saw her eat. I noticed she hardly ever smiled. Ever since I first saw her, I wanted to make her smile. I wonder what she was thinking of to make her cry.

I watched as she stood up and left the room. She did not come back so she must have gone to bed. I started my bike and rode to my club in Van Wert. I will come back in a few days.

I thought I heard a bike start-up and the sound was gone. I fell asleep but I tossed and turned. I woke up to my alarm going off. I sat up on the edge of the bed with my head in my hands.

I stood up and made my bed before walking to the bathroom to take a shower. After I got out and looked into the mirror, I noticed the circles under my eyes.

I also noticed that my bones were showing through. I wrapped a towel around me and walked into my bedroom where I got dressed.

I then braided my hair and grabbed my keys walking out the door and locking it behind me. I walked down the stairs and to the restaurant where I ordered a fried egg sandwich and coffee.

I walked across the street to the shop and sat behind the desk. I ate my sandwich and drank my coffee. I looked up as Animal walked in.

He smiled at me and said good morning. Did you eat breakfast? Yes, I had a fried egg sandwich and my coffee. Good at least you ate something.

I was back at the restaurant today sitting in the window and looking at her as she worked. I took pictures of her. My VP was getting a tattoo today.

He could have gotten one in Van Wert, but I talked him into coming here. I told him to ask for Animal because he really is good. His real goal is to get a close view of her.

As I walked in, I heard Animal talking to the woman. Apparently, she is not eating right. Kelly, have you talked to Savage? No, from what I saw he made his choice.

I think that you should know that Berserk told him that he will never annul Savage's claim on you. I do not care. And I want you to wear this.

It is for your protection Kelly. Kelly, Savage did not get his road name for anything.

If someone hurts you the beast in him will come out. Maybe for his old girlfriend but not for me.

I heard Animal sigh and then say "Berserk said if you will not wear it for Savage then please wear it for him. He promised Jim he would keep you safe.

Fine I said taking my cut and putting it own. I am not wearing if to make Savage happy you tell him that. I am wearing if for Berserk.

Oh, and Jim wants you to call him. I will do that after work. No, you won't because you left everything Savage bought you at the club.

That includes your phone. Berserk got this for you he said holding out a new cell phone. Do not worry, Savage does not know anything about this.

I took the phone from him. Thank Berserk for me. Tell him I will pay him back. Kelly, he ordered Savage to continue to meet your needs.

I do not want anything from him. God, you are one stubborn ass woman. Why thank you. I watched him turn and walk to the back. Hello, I am here for a tattoo with Animal.
