Chapter 40: Kelly Locks Everyone Out Of Her Room

I walked into the bathroom and got out gauze and tape. I then took the tape off the IV in my hand. Next, I pulled the IV out and put the gauze on it and taped it down.

I then got into the shower. After getting out I put sweatpants, a tee shirt, and socks on. I sat in the rocking chair and stared out the window above the bed.

I heard my name being called. Then the doorknob turning. Kelly, unlock the door. I did not answer. Kelly, you unlock this door right now.

I just stared at the door. Kick this door down. I heard several kicks against the door, but it did not budge. It will not break open. Someone needs to call Savage.

I heard Steve say, "she will not open it for Savage." She has her memory back. Shit. Why the hell did he never tell her that Lauri kissed him, and he was pushing her away when she saw it?

To her, all she saw was his arms on Laurie's arms and she left. Go get the tools and take those fucking bars off the window. I looked up to see feet running toward the garage or shed.

I closed the wood and bolted it so they could not get in. I heard someone yell god damn it. She bolted the wood down. Even if we took the bars off, we cannot get in.

I heard someone yell "B.J., Steve you better hope she does not hurt herself or Savage will kill you both." Then I heard Steve say to them that he does not answer to Savage.

They answer to me. I laughed. Why the hell has she locked herself in? What do you expect? Savage never kissed her or had sex with her the three months they slept together. Then she sees what she thinks is Savage kissing another woman.

She thinks that Savage does not want her. Well shit. What is taking him so long to show her he loves her? I do not know. All I know is we must get in that room.

Do you hear that? We are all fucked. I heard it too. A roar coming towards the club. They are all back and we are going to get our ass handed to us on a silver platter.

I heard the bikes turn off and then Berserk ask "Why are you all standing outside next to Kelly's window and holding a saw? And why is the board down on the inside of the window?

Steve, what is going on? I looked at Savage and said, "she has her memory back". She kicked me out of the bedroom then locked the door. She wanted to call her landlord and see if her apartment was still available.

Why the hell have you not manned up and told Kelly you are in love with her Savage? Why does she think you do not want her? I will tell you why.

You have slept in the same bed with her for three months and never touched her. You never kissed her and you sure as hell never had sex with her.

She thinks that you want Laurie. Her heart is broken. She said she is not going to stand in your way of being with the woman you want and she knows it is not her.

She does not know anything. And you all need to stay out of my business. Then get her to open that door if we do not know anything I said.

We watched Savage and Berserk walk into the club. We followed them. Kelly open this door they said. No reply. Kelly please open the door and talk to me Savage said. Nothing.

Well hell now what do we do? Where is Roxie? on her way here. As soon as she gets here maybe she will open the door for her sister.

We heard Steve. Kelly, please open the door. Only if they go away. Well, back away from the door. She opened the door and I walked in.

She slammed the door shut and locked it. Kelly talk to me. I am your friend. I cannot stay here Steve. I can't watch the whores make passes at him. Or him look at other women and compare me to them.

What the hell are you talking about? He doesn't want me, Steve. Tell me Steve if you loved a woman how would you show her? I will take her rides on my bike, go for a walk in the woods, replace a creek and have a picnic with her, lay on the blanket and make out for a while before coming back to the club. Lay and watch TV with her, make out some more. Stuff like that.
