Chapter 57: Savage Takes Care Of Kelly

I opened the door removed my jeans and climbed back into bed. Is everything alright I heard Kelly ask me? Yes, it is now. Go back to sleep you need your rest.

I will tell you all about it in the morning. I kissed the top of her head and wrapped my arms around her. I closed my eyes and went back to sleep.

I woke up to having my face being poked. Stop poking my face babe. I need a pain pill. I reached out and picked up the envelope doc gave me last night.

I opened it and gave her the two pain pills doc told me to give her. I handed her the glass of water and watched as she took them. How bad is the pain babe?

It feels as if I am on fire. But it will slowly get better. I love you Savage she mumbled, and I knew she was asleep. I grinned and thanked god I did not lose her.

I looked at the time and closed my eyes. A few hours later I opened my eyes and looked down at Kelly. She was asleep. She tossed and turned and talked in her sleep last night.

But after assuring her she was safe with me she quieted down. I gently removed her head from my chest and arm from around me. I then got out of bed and walked into the bathroom and took a shower.

I came out wearing nothing but a towel. As I walked over to the dresser I heard "do you have to look that good when I am in this condition and we can't do anything?"

I looked over and grinned. Just wait until you are healed. I am going to make love to you for hours. I pulled on boxers and my jeans.

I then put on a black tee-shirt and grabbed a pair of socks. I sat down and put them on then my boots. I walked over and leaned down and kissed her before putting on my cut.

I will bring you a plate of food if you want. Please. I hurt too bad to get out of bed. I will be right back. I walked out the door and down the stairs to the kitchen.

Whiskey can you bring two plates of food and coffee to my room? I will bring it up in 10 minutes. Anything for Kelly. I went and talked to the doc. Is Kelly alright Savage?

No, she said she is on fire. I will be up to check on her in 30 minutes. Thanks, doc I said turning and heading to our room. I walked in and said Kelly Whiskey is bringing us breakfast.

Do you need help setting up? Please. I helped her to sit up and covered her. Just then there was a knock on the door. I walked over and opened it. Thanks' Whiskey I said as he walked in the door.

While Kelly and I ate I told her about the woman that showed up pregnant and accusing me of having been at Jim's club seven months ago and having sex with her.

Then we had Jim come down and he lit into her. He sent her back home with the prospect that brought her here. He told us he knew who the father was, and he was a prospect.

So, I hear you are not feeling well. That's right. Let's check you he said. I watched as he took her temp and said that she had a temp. He then lay her down and removed the bandage on her stomach.

I need to clean this Kelly. I might hurt a bit. I watched as she winced as he wiped the wound. Kelly, you are on fire because you have an infection.

I am going to give you a shot of penicillin. It will help with the infection. You should start feeling better in a day or two. Thanks, doc we both said. He gave her the shot and covered her up.

I walked over and kissed her. I will have lunch with you. I turned and followed doc out the door. She is going to get better right doc. Yes, do not worry so much.
