Chapter 7: Kelly Almost Dies

I figured him out months ago. He could beat a woman, but he cannot beat another man. Jim, I am so tired. I think I will sleep now. I watched as she slowly closed her eyes. Then she let out a breath.

No, I screamed. I threw open the door and screamed doc get your ass in here now. I started giving her CPR as Doc ran down the hall. I watched as he grabbed a cart and pulled it over to the bed.

He picked up some paddles clear he yelled. I watched as Kelly's body jerked up off the bed. Clear he yelled again. Then the machine started beeping again. She is back he said. Good thing you were in here when her heart stopped.

Jim, I cannot wait. I must operate on her and stop the bleeding. I am going to need Rebel and Snake's help. Get them in here now. I will let you know how it turns out just go wait. Fine I said but doc she must make it.

I know I said. Look, Jim, we all love Kelly. I will do what I can. I looked at the clock for the fifth time. After five hours Doc, Rebel, and Snake walked out looking tired. We watched as they walked to the bar and grabbed a bottle of beer before walking to the table and sitting down.

How is she doc I asked him? I had to repair her spleen. She will be fine now. But that bastard needs to pay for what he did. We almost lost her Jim. If she had not come here that night, she would already be dead.

Rebel and Snake looked at Jim. It reminded me of when we were at war. Look guys you cannot do anything to Richard when he shows up. We need to replace out what he knows first. Fine, but when you give the ok, we want a piece of him.

I am surprised that he has not shown up. I wonder if he is hiding from us. I do not think he is hiding from us. I think that he is out there looking for her. Just then the door slammed open. Who the hell is that?

Jim, I need to know where Kelly is. I know if she is in trouble, she would come to you. That bastard is running all over town trying to replace her. He is making it look like she left him a few nights ago while he was at the bar. I know better. I know my sister.

Bill what did he tell you? He said he woke up and she was gone. She took all her clothes and left. I must replace her Jim. She is here Bill. He did a number on her.

Doc had to operate on her. We almost lost her. Come on I will take you to her. As we walked in, I saw my sister laying on the bed with IVs in her arms, on a heart monitor, and oxygen. She was beaten up and looked like hell.

We walked out of the room and I said. Why did he do this to her? He accused this man here of having sex with her. Look, man, I never met your sister until today. He apparently left the bar and went home and beat the shit out of her trying to get my name out of her.

My name is Savage, and she took a beating over me. Someone she has never met before. Gritting my teeth, I asked how bad? He punched her, kicked her until she lost consciousness and then he beat her with a belt. Just then a prospect walked over and said. Richard just pulled up. Let him in.

We watched as the door opened and Richard walked into the club. Jim, I know that you have Kelly here or you know where she is. Reaper looked over at the door and nodded his head. Several prospects sat in front of the door.

What is going on here? We watched as Bill stood up. I am going to give you a beating you will never forget. Then you will leave Florida and never return.
