Chapter 2

"Hey guys!" I greeted them, they all suddenly became quiet and all looked at me. I was turning red as I saw Mason looking at me. "Hey! You're Skye right?" Mason asked me, making my palms sweaty. Chloe's eyes grew wide and Daniel looked like he was annoyed. "Y.. Yeah, Yeah! I'm Skye Hale!" I stuttered first but then grew too confident. They all started laughing, was something on my face? I checked my face but nothing then asked "Was it something I said?" trying to laugh but I was really nervous.

"You're Skye, Nerdy filthy fatty Skye!" Mason said as everyone was laughing and Chloe tried her best to laugh but she had a guilty look on her face. I flinched at that name remembering back in Middle school. I was fat, had acne and big braces. It was the school dance and I was reading a book but then I remember some girls coming up to me and started ripping my book, I got so angry when I tried to swing a punch I accidentally hit the principal making me fall over showing my panties that look like they had shit on them since it was white and it had brown, but it was blood stain from my first period.

I gave a look to Chloe saying Please Help but she just stared at me. "Can you believe this Chloe!" someone said, Chloe nodded and blurted out "Be careful Mason, she has a crush on you," That's when my heart shattered. Chloe was siding with them after all that we've been through. She looked at me and mouthed Sorry. Everybody was laughing and suddenly Mason came in front of me and whispered "So you do like me?" but the pain of Chloe's betrayal was much more stronger than the feelings I had for Mason. Everybody started smirking. Tears started to fall from my eyes and he pushed me really hard that I fell on my fat ass.

"Well do you, Fatty!?" Mason hissed as he started to kick dirt at me. "Skye is a Fatty, Skye is a Fatty!" they all started to sing especially Chloe but Daniel was right beside her, turning away from her and looking annoyed. "A... After all we've been through Chloe?" my voice croaked as I started to sob. "Awww... The Fatty is crying," Someone said making me sob more. "Ooohhh... Chloe you take care of this!" Mason said as he kicked dirt in my face. Chloe hesitated for a minute but then she pushed herself up and extended her arm towards me. I smiled and Mason said "What the fuck Chloe you are-" but he was cut off when Chloe pulled me up only to push me again on the ground but with more force than Mason.

"You selfish little Brat!! You think I would become your BFF!?" she hissed, I laid there speechless not knowing what to say and not wanting to say anything as my heart kept breaking with each passing minute. "Huh!?!" she shouted this time only to grab a fist full of my hair that was now coming out of it's messy bun. "Answer me Bitch!" she said as she slammed my head against the ground making me groan in pain. "Chloe!! Stop it!!" Daniel hissed but then she snapped at him "Keep Quiet you dimwit! Mind your own business!" Chloe then kicked me in the leg and shouted "Answer me!"

I then cried out "Yes! Yes!" "Then you are just plain selfish Skye! I've been by your side through out my whole life in school, I've stood up for you every God damn time!! But you just have to go around acting all innocent and crying all the time but all you have ever done was nothing and you always want me down at your level. Not wanting me to have any other friends than yourself! I'm just sick and tired of it! I hate you Skye Hale! I hope you get a heart attack from eating at Mcdonalds!!!" Chloe hissed as she spit in my face, soon everyone was laughing. Of course except for Daniel. Soon two big guys who were already wolves now, picked me up and put me in the middle of the merry-go-round and tied me to each bar spreading my arms and legs and finally putting an apple in my mouth.

"SKYE IS A PIGGY!! SKYE IS A PIGGY!!" They all started to sing as they spin the merry-go-round faster and faster making me dizzy and making me feel sick. A few minutes later I vomited, vomit stuck all around me, making me look like crap. People started laughing and laughing and as I was spinning on the merry-go- round. Time seemed so slow down as I heard the cackling of their laughter that will sure haunt me for the rest of my life, not only their laughter's but this particular day.

"You think I will like you back Piggy?!?! Think again!! Look at you right now!! You're fat and not to mention Ugly!! You will never be a brave and powerful wolf like your dad. Your mate will never accept you!!! I will never like you ever in my whole life!! Liking you is like making out with a slug!!" Mason hissed at me, his words echoed in my head and kept repeating like it was a dark and empty cave. My heart for sure broke. I was broken, no one and nothing could heal me.

I didn't know when or what time they stopped but I was still spinning. Soon I felt someone stop the merry-go-round. My vision was blurry and I felt numb to the point that nothing mattered anymore. Not turning, not Mason, not Chloe, not dad and surely not me. Being me felt like making out with a slug. Suddenly someone brought me up into a sitting position making me vomit again. I also started sobbing and crying my eyes out as if I just saw death himself. The person who helped me wrapped his arms around me and started rubbing my back, "Shhh... Stop crying Skye, they are not worth it!" I could tell from his voice that it was Daniel. I threw my arms around him and he didn't flinch or pull back even though I was covered in dirt and vomit.

A few minutes have passed and he pulled away and said "You smell of pancakes, omelet, and bacon" I chuckled and said "Breakfast," He smiled and said "Let's get you home," I didn't need to hide my problems away from my dad. I trusted him and any advice he would give me was the best.
