Before we could talk what happened and why am I like this I had one question in my head that was nagging me. "Dad..." he looked at me, "Is Gabie my real mother?" I asked, his eyes widening and so did Janes'. "You know Gabie?" Jane asked. "Yeah, we stayed with her and she told me everything," I said narrowing my eyes on my dad who was now staring at the ground. "Dad?" His eyes now flickered to mine. "Yes, she... is," he said slowly. I blinked the tears away trying my best not to let them fall. "They took her," I said then my dad's eyes looked at me with an anger that was starting to boil in him. "Who did they took?" My dad hissed. "Gabie," I sighed. "Who are they?" he hissed again as he stood up with clenched hands and this time everyone around him including me grew scared by the minute.

"Mason and Nikki," I said wishing he would take this lightly but no one could take it lightly if you knew that your mate was in danger. He shouted and punched the wall near him making a huge gap in the wall. Jane flinched while Daniel just closed his eyes. "They're starting a war," Jane said softly. "Why?" my dad growled, and Jane quickly said "Mason wants Skye," making my dad confuse. "But mostly because Skye is mated with the enemy Alpha," Daniel added.

Right as I was gonna explain everything the door was suddenly broke down revealing pack members of Mason. "Run," my dad said as he stared at the big pack members standing before him. Of course, he could take them down easily since he is the rightful Alpha but as he was about to attack, one of the pack members shot a gun but instead of bullets coming out it was a needle and it knock my dad out cold. "Jane! Skye! Run!" Daniel shouted as he tried taking them down one by one but as we reached the back door I knew I couldn't run because I was weak without my mate. I grabbed Jane by the shoulders and told her "Jane you need to run," "No, I can't leave you behind," she said now she was crying. but I gently shook her shoulders and said "You have to, go warn Nate. Tell him what happened here," she then nodded and shifted into her grey wolf and ran. As I turned around I saw as they took Daniel down easily they soon was after me and I couldn't run or fight. So I gave in.

They grabbed me and literally dragged me out the house to come face to face with three persons that I hated and loathed now and forever. Nikki, Chloe, and Mason. "You are such a trouble maker, you know that," Mason said as he pinched my cheeks too hard. I growled at him and tried biting him but before I could my cheek met a slap. I looked over to see Nikki "That's for stealing my fiance," she said making me remember our fight with Nate. "I don't like this one bit Skye, but you have to pay for punishment. You and your so called 'mate' once I take him down in war tomorrow. Then we shall behead you," He growled at me and for some reason I saw a pity expression on Chloe's face.

"Send her and the rest to the dungeons," Mason said. "Sir, but we need Alpha Toni-" "HE IS NOT THE ALPHA ANYMORE!!" Mason yelled like a mad man. "I mean we need Toni sir since he is one of our strongest member," he said as he bowed his head in shame. "We can win without him, if we do let him fight he will only fight against us," Mason said making me glare at him. "What have you done with my mother?" For the first time I have called Gabie mother, and as Nikki realized that I was referring to Gabie, I saw the hurt and pain itched on her face. "Suffering of course," Nikki said as if it meant nothing to her.

"Take them away!" Mason ordered as they started dragging mine, Daniel, and my dad's body towards the pack house where the basement was used for dungeons and torture rooms.

As we were forced into the dungeons, we were all separated from each other. They threw me harshly onto the floor. The pack member who threw me in then whispered "I'm sorry Skye but Alpha's orders," I just rolled my eyes and heard a weak voice "Skye?" My heart was beating fast and I crawled my way until the bars wouldn't let me pass and saw that the dungeon in front of me was Gabie, who was chained to the wall with bloods and bruises covering every inch of her body.

"Mom," I gasped, she just chuckled like she wasn't bleeding to death in a dungeon. "That's a first," she said as she looked at me. "Are you okay? Pft! Obviously you are not but what did they do to you?" I asked as tears started slowly roll down my cheeks. "They just tortured me that's all," she said like it was no big deal, I loved how calm she was, it was as if she was trying to be strong for me. "What about your witch powers?" I asked. "They put herbs on me every now and then to keep me from using them," she said, at the moment. I felt hopeless.
