He then shifted in his brown wolf trying to intimidate me I then shifted to my white wolf he then barked at me violently making my wolf's ears back down. but then something inside me just snapped, I was tired of being told what to do, or being told how I should live my life. How each part of me grew sad as the ones around me treated me like I was dirt. I was tired how I would space out and think of my pity and sad life that passed by without me doing anything about it. I was mad and when I say mad I mean it.

My wolf then growled under her breath and growled like never before. It sounded dangerous and powerful. It vibrated through out my whole chest as if I was like in some sort of trance. My wolf then was towering over Mason's brown one making him back away slowly. Showing me he wasn't scared. I then bared my teeth showing him he just passed the line and once a bark left my mouth. It surprised and shocked me at the same time. It wasn't my usual, it was different like I changed but all of a sudden someone shot a needle on me and I fell into the

darkness again.

Nathaniel's POV

My heart was breaking as I made my way back to my house, as I drove the truck tears ran down my face as if I had a never ending stock of tears. I woke up this morning to see the side of my bed empty, it broke me. I loved Skye! She was my world and It's not because of the bond that we had as mates but simply because Skye was kind, she was smart and funny. She could be clumsy and she speaks her mind but most of her life was consumed and covered with sadness making her doubt anything good that comes to her.

I couldn't get her smile and her eyes out of my head, they haunted me. I wish I could go back to the day I just met her that I could just ignore her and leave her but I couldn't after getting to know her better, she was everything I ever wanted. She seeks happiness and adventure, she even seeks love. True love. Her scent was all over me and every time I would take a deep breath I could feel like she was right beside me staring outside the window like she always does.

I love Skye Hale, always have and always will now and forever. Yes, once upon a time I had deep feelings for Nikki but once Skye came into my life Nikki was only a distant memory like a vivid dream. Nikki knew I found my mate but she couldn't accept it especially when she found out it was her half-sister. I thought that Gabie could keep us safe with her witch craft but I was terribly wrong. We put her life in danger and we had to save her but the only way to do that was to declare war on Mason's pack.

It would be easy taking down their pack but my concern was Skye maybe they might do something to her and when something happens to her it happens to me. It can make me weak and I would be easily killed in battle but I wasn't worried in getting killed, I was worried about Skye. My mate.

Suddenly something pulled me out of my thoughts as I saw a wolf run across the road. I then slammed on the brakes making the tires shriek but I was too late I heard the sound thud I then ran outside the car and saw Jane's wolf, she was laying on the ground. She wasn't badly injured but I could tell something bad happened to her before my car hit her. "Jane!" I called out as I shook her wolf's body. She whimpered a bit as if saying that she was tired. I then ran back inside the truck and got some of Skye's clothes and threw it on Jane and told her "Shift here and change," in my Alpha voice. I knew she was tired and hurt but I needed to know what happened to her.

Once she was done she then frantically ran to me and she was breathing heavily and her eyes were widen. "Jane, what happened?" as I grabbed her by the shoulders, steadying her. "Th...the.. they got her," she breathed out. "Who did they got and who is they?" I asked she was breathing too heavily to answer. I then demanded "Jane! Who are they!?"

She looked at me and I could tell she was crying "She came back, we went inside the house and they took Antonio, Daniel... and Skye," she said as she started crying again. My eyes widen and I could feel every muscle in me tense. I then tried reaching out to Skye and I felt her usual, Sadness and grief. nothing else. "Mason," I growled and Jane started crying again. "We have to rescue her, Skye was weak when she came. we have to do something,"

"This means war," I growled as we started making our way towards the pack house where everyone was now gathered but we did not traveled by car we traveled with our wolfs and as soon as we got there everyone was there waiting for us. I then asked them through our mind links does everyone know the situation? I then heard yes' and nos' ok here is what we are gonna do, Skye Hale was kidnapped- but before I could even finish a dark brown wolf stepped forward and asked What is so special about her? I glared at her and growled Nikki... Know your place!! she then growled back Tell me what is so special about her when she rejected you!?!
