I wanted to shift and rip off Chloe's head but I had no right to, he was her mate. Something that I could never change, "You didn't tell me," I whispered to Daniel as he stared at his food, guilty. "I... I'm sorry. I didn't want to be the one to tell you," he said as he looked at me with his puppy eyes. I looked at the ground and said "It's fine, I guess I ignored the warning signs from before. It was obvious he wasn't made for me. A guy who is made for me wouldn't make me cry... I just didn't want to admit it back then," It was true, I ignored the fact that Mason made me cry and hurt before, I was too caught up in my feelings to admit that we weren't mates.

My thoughts were interrupted by the voice that I was dreading to face, "Hey Daniel! You have a new girlfriend?" Chloe asked, my back faced her and she was facing Daniel who was in front of me. "Actually me and her are only friends," Daniel said while pointing to me and him. I turned around and said "Hello," Obviously she doesn't remember me. Chloe has changed a lot, before she had beautiful curly blonde hair with piercing blue eyes and she always smiled not showing her teeth but now stood a very slim Chloe, who had wavy blonde hair and looked very exotic. She was smiling showing her white perfect teeth. And she was wearing her cheering outfit colored red. "Hi there!" she chirped. "I guess you're new here, my name is Chloe Mcadams! Your future Luna. So that means I am the Alpha's girlfriend, if you're wondering who is the Alpha his name is Mason Crawford," she said as if saying Mason is mine, so hands off him.

I smiled and said "Ah! No worries, he's not my type. Besides, I am kinda new here but I am also not with The Elite Pack, I am from yours," her eyebrows came together in confusion and asked "So you're new to our pack? Maybe I could show you around and we'll be best friends," I chuckled as I stood up towering over her since I was taller and I said "Actually No and No! I am the daughter of Former Alpha Antonio Hale. The ex best friend of the Luna Chloe Mcadams, I am the one and only Skye Hale," and once my name came out of my mouth and since half of the people in this room had a great sense of hearing they all heard me, even Mason. Everyone gasped and Chloe's jaw literally dropped. Daniel stood up beside me with a smirk on his face, I couldn't take the scenery seriously since everyone was in shock and I am standing here wanting to laugh out loud, I mean even my wolf was laughing.

"Yeah! I know shocker! Right? But I have no time for people like you. It's such a waste of my precious time, so see you around, Later Chloes!" I said as I waved to her and strutted out of the lunch room with Daniel behind me and once we were out, we both laughed our heads off. Daniel decided to go out for a run since his wolf has been acting weird lately and I went to the library.

Not many people were at the library, and most of them were the enemy. Nothing bad has happened, yet. but the enemy has been behaving like good people since they stood out of our ways and were really quiet. That's what I'm gonna love about this year, peace and quiet and get to see the shock faces of Chloe and Mason. Too bad I didn't took a glance at Mason when I announced I was Skye Hale but something weird happen, I suddenly smelt a scent but not just any scent. A scent that sent me straight to cloud nine, a scent that makes me feel like I'm in heaven or paradise. It smelt of woodsy and a guy's perfume that smelt manly and a scent that turned me on.

I have never smelt something so divine.

I went to the last row at the library and was looking for a book that one of my teachers told me to search for but as I found it and when I took it out of the bookshelf, I saw the other side of the bookshelf and saw a guy standing there looking down at a book, he was handsome but as soon as he look up to meet my eyes. I was suddenly frozen, my heart increased, my panties went damped, my stomach filled with killer butterflies and I knew right there that I have found my mate.

His eyes widen but in a second he appeared right beside me, we both stood an inch apart just looking at each other, taking in what the other looked like. He stood at 6'2 taller than anybody I knew, his build was Athletic and his eight packs that showed under his tight black shirt made my panties even more damp. His alluring green eyes never left mine but at times he would linger at my body, His hair was dark brown and his skin was well toned. He looked ravishing while I stood here with my jaw open and drooling over him.
