One Piece: Gambling to The Top
Chapter 130 - 130

"Ghost!"

Josh was feeling nostalgia, remembering how Vivi had yelled while talking with her father, exposing his identity when he had been planning to betray Crocodile.

Josh smiled at the little girl and said. "Little advice. In the future, try to keep your voice low."

The girl started panting while looking at Josh. In her life, no one was able to sneak on her. She would have sensed them coming from a far distance, and Josh just had appeared in front of her.

Josh let a sigh and stopped concealing his presence. The girl seemed to feel some relief when she sensed him.

"You… you aren't a ghost."

"I'm a demon by the way," Josh said sarcastically as he landed his hand on the top of her head. "You may want to escape now…"

"Escape?" Aisa, the little girl, was having something called Mantra, which is known also as Observation Haki to Josh. Emotions disorder can cause a girl to lose her prediction, so she wasn't able to sense the danger Josh was sensing.

Aisa, regaining her calmness after confirming that Josh was a human, turned her head and her eyes were opened wide open.

"Runaway, big brother!"

She said, turning her back and running.

On her back, the little white wings flapped. Josh kept crossing his arms and didn't move the slightest as he turned his head in the opposite direction.

Aisa turned her head and said. "The priests of Enel are coming for you… no, more than that. Run before they come!"

The man in front of her wasn't the only outsider whom she had ever met. Well, it's easy to say he is an outsider since he didn't have wings. Nevertheless, it doesn't change the fact that he may be one of the many victims of the twisted games of Enel, who likes to make outsiders criminals and make the angels in the other islands play his twisted game.

Josh seemed to be clueless, so the girl didn't move and kept yelling.

"Gimme a break." Said Josh as he yawned. "Too late."

Lifting his head, Josh noticed a fat man standing on the top of the tree. He was wearing all white, and he had a hat on the top of his head.

"Oh, for a guy who dares to break so many rules in one day, you surely want to go through an ordeal here, aren't you." He said with a fluffy voice as he jumped off the high tree, extending his hand. One can see that there was a path forming under his legs, leading all of the ways down, and it was made of the cloud.

'Time is precious…' Josh thought as he looked at the fat man. Josh didn't feel like hearing him any longer. When Josh vanished from his spot, the fat man said.

"You are going to give me a jab to the jaw," he said as he slowly raised his hand when Josh appeared in front of him.

Since the guy knows Observation Haki, he could have a simple prediction.

*Swish*

Josh's left hand vanished. The next second, the jaw jiggled, and the priest fell on his knees, losing consciousness.

Josh let a sigh as he looked at the priest's falling body and muttered. "You didn't predict you won't counter it, did you know."

Josh had a better observation of Haki and a better fighting skill. Someone like this priest, who lost to someone who doesn't even have Haki, isn't to take seriously.

Letting a sigh, Josh jumped off the cloud, and he landed on his feet. Josh was sure that the other priests are hiding while Hancock and Kalifa were touring around.

Josh landed on his feet and turned his head. The little girl, whom he assumed to be 10 years old, was standing behind a near tree, observing him before looking at the priest with awe.

"You… you defeated him." She said, staring at the sword on his back. It was amazing to see him defeating a priest. But to know he is a swordsman and has yet to use his skill, made her eyes lit up like stars.

"You're still here. Better go back to your home." Josh said, putting his hands in his pocket, and he walked forward.

Aisa found this as a chance to go back and tell her tribe, who are originally the inhabitants of this island, but they were kicked out of it. Aisa then turned and run toward the beach. Although she saw a blond girl and a very pretty brunet, she didn't stop and only blushed and ran forward.

Kalifa turned her head strangely. "She blushed."

"Naturally." Hancock brushed her hair with her hand and walked to a near tree before writing her name on Josh there.

"Are you planning to mark this island as yours and Josh?"

"Mmm…" Hancock nodded.

Kalifa, all of the sudden, jumped and turned, staring with wariness at the figure that appeared behind Hancock.

It was a blue snake, which was very large. Its length could be measured with miles, and the girth matched it. It's as large as a sea king, a big one above that.

"Never seen a land creature this big." The shaft was so thick and so long that it can make any woman shutter in fear.

"Hancock…" Kalifa called as she was about to attack the snake.

"I know." Hancock was writing on the tree, not looking at the large snake that opened its mouth to swallow her. When the snake got near, Hancock jumped, turned, and gave it a kick on the top of its head, making the large snake glide back.

"Don't interrupt me when I'm making marks with Josh!" Hancock hissed at the snake with an angry expression, waves of Conqueror Haki leaving her.

"It's… it's submitting." Kalifa commented as the snake had tears on its eyes, with fear making an appearance. When Hancock took a step forward, the snake took a step back.

"They don't call me Snake Princess for nothing," Hancock said. "Just a bit of Haki and demonstration of strength and they will be good slaves."

Meanwhile.

Josh halted his steps suddenly. He didn't look surprised to see who appeared in front of him.

"Did you make this party for me… Should I feel flattered?" asked Josh with a hint of sarcasm in his voice.

"No, he didn't." Said a black man with braids all over his head.. "We were just curious to see what's so fun about you."
