One Piece: Gambling to The Top -
Chapter 79 - 79
The Buster Call. It was a legendary attack that always finish its target and destroy it completely, even if the target was a big island.
The marine in the lead of the Buster Call was looking at the water surrounding them.
Although the fleet is big, they know that their target is a small group of criminals… not pirates, but criminals.
The leader was looking for any trace for the Gambler's crew, along with Robin.
However, as he was getting closer, he turned his head to the other vice-admirals, who were half-closing their eyes at the sight.
The leader took a snail out of his pocket, communicating with the other warships that has thousands of marines within them, also, many elites.
"Do you see what I see?" The leader asked.
"Yes, I'm confused as well."
"Cheap trick."
"Now, which one should we pick."
In front of them, there are the World Government ships, random ships, and the Gambler's ship.
On each ship, there are masked people standing on the deck.
And each ship was heading toward a different direction on the water.
One can easily tell that it was a real good and cheap trick.
Now, the Buster Call can't backfire their friends at the World Government, neither could they attack the Gambler's ship.
There is one solution in that case.
"Spread. We will take care of them one by one." Said one vice-admiral as he put his thumb on the guard of his Katana. Since they can't use firepower to take the ships down, they will examine them and take the Gambler right here and right now.
Meanwhile, as the marine ships were spreading, if one can see down, to the deep level of the sea, they would see a flipped ship moving.
"This is your idea." Said Robin.
"Yep." Replied Josh, who was lifting a ship in a reverse way from the deck.
This way, while walking in the sea, they can breathe.
"Remind me to buy a submarine," Mikita said, turning her weight so light, so she can push with Josh. Although her body is light, she can still keep her power no matter what her weight is.
"You are right."
Josh, who is in his demon form, nodded. If Law had one, Josh thought it would be a good idea to have one. Though, it comes to the risk of clashing with a sea monster. Nonetheless, one can always use it like a ship in daylight and escape during the attacks of the marines. It's not like Josh planned to run forever. However, he won't just fight a losing battle.
With Robin helping them using her ability to move on the sea, Josh was getting away from the Buster Call. She was pushing with him. Also, there are arms on the top of the ship, waving and pushing it with great speed.
Robin, if each arm of hers can lift more than a ton, then thousands of those arms has a really destructive force that helped them to get away.
"Wow, no weakness, I can wreck the sea one day," Mikita said, happily.
"Yes. I never believed it until this moment."
"What do you think, Kalifa." Mikita turned to Kalifa, who acts politely around her.
"I think we should get away before we are spotted by a sea king." She said in the urge to hurry them up.
After twenty minutes, the oxygen started getting less in the cabin. Knowing it's time to get out, Josh pushed the boat up, which was enough for five of them. Using Moonwalk with Kalifa, they pushed it to the surface of the water.
"Ha Ha…"
The girls started panting, except for Kalifa. Josh, on the other hand, seemed to be fine. Staring behind them, Josh adjusted the sail. Inside of the small boat, there is everything they need, and food isn't a problem.
Robin took an internal log, saying. "Where do we head now."
"Water 7," Josh said. "We need to order a customized submarine."
Kalifa raised her hand and patted his shoulder, saying. "That's where I used to work. If we go there, we may get exposed by my previous boss."
"Not going to happen since you had killed your previous mates."
"True."
Seeing that his fist was in front of her, Kalifa's eyes lit up as she bend down and sucked some of his delicious orgasmic blood. When she swept her mouth, Robin has already set the sail. The winds then started pushing the small boat.
"We only have to reach a civilised island," Robin said. "I then can buy enough Eternal Poses for us to move along the way, of course, if we can gain money."
Robin believed that money would never be a problem for Josh. He steals from bounty hunters, from pirates, and others. Josh, however, didn't look optimistic.
"This isn't over, you know," Josh said, raising his hand upon realising one thing.
"What do you mean?"
"We didn't escape completely," Josh said, turning his head in every direction.
He didn't get the notification that his gamble is complete.
"Look." Mikita, who jumped and floated up, pointed in front of them.
Far from them, there was a big battleship that belongs to Buster Call.
It was alone.
Standing on its sail was a man with a moustache, shaved head with an unshaved ponytail. He was having his hand on his Katana.
Josh, staring at that guy with his enhanced sense, had an alert of danger. That guy was a Vice Admiral, a Grandmaster Swordsman. Also, it seems that he could follow them using his luck or Haki. It doesn't matter anyway. He is following them and that what is matter. But at least, he is alone.
"What are you going to do?" Kalifa asked as she glanced at Josh's back.
Mikita hugged Josh. "Let's escape and change the direction. I can sneak up on them and sink their ship."
"No need." Robin cracked her arms. "I'll use my arms now and make holes down their ship."
"I can make them hypnotised for a moment with a big pattern," Marianne said. "There were colour traps I couldn't make in the past due to the size limit, but now I think I can make them."
The little girl, however, looked excited to test her ability in new ways. As an artist, Marianne was a very creative individual. While saying that, Marianne was hugging his leg, her head on his ribs. Josh didn't know if she is excited or afraid.
Upon hearing his girls, Josh, who was feeling confused about what to do when facing a warship that can contain thousands of marines, elites among them, in a sea battle against a Vice Admiral, finally had an idea.
"We have just to sink them before they reach us," Josh clicked his tongue.
He knows that the moment they get far enough from the marines, they wouldn't be traceable, due to the unique navigation conditions of the Grand Line. Sinking them and then getting out of their sightline is the condition for this to work.
[Ding, Task Generator has a new Gamble for you.]
Today, the system is giving him many tasks with good rewards, but with greater risks each time.
Josh had a smirk, an anxious one, knowing what he is going to do is dangerous.
"Alright, hear the plan," Josh said while opening the task he's just got, red aura covering him.. "We are going to sink them before they reach us."
