Chapter 23:

“Hi Sara and that miracle you over here” greeted Elena her editor.

“Hi, I was just coming to see how the last book sale is going and to see if you received my latest manuscript”.

“The book has sold like hot cakes, don’t worry, these days we will transfer it to you and the truth is that these days there has been so much work that I haven’t reviewed the manuscript, but knowing you I know it will be a success. Besides, I want to be well rested when I start reading it because I know I won’t be able to stop”. They both laughed and chatted for a while.

When Sara looked at the clock again she realized that two hours had passed and it was time to pick Emily up from work. So she said goodbye to her editor and went to pick up her friend, after warning her that she would be a little late.

Hugo is sitting in the company watching the sky through the glass window of his office. Since he was informed that Sara had entered the publishing house he could not think of anything else, nor concentrate. He imagined another man touching her and making her moan, and that made him very cranky. He didn’t care about that woman, he repeated to himself, but she was still his wife and he should behave as such. Alejandro had been trying for hours to replace information about what she was doing as a publisher or something about her supposed lover. But no matter how much he asked about her, no one knew her and no one knew anything.

Sara went to pick Emily up from work and as she was getting out of the car she saw Emily running up to her.

“Holy shit” she yelled when she saw the car and Sara smiled “amazing car. is it yours?

“Yeah, I just bought it. Come on, let’s go, you’ll have all the time in the world to look at it”.

They both got in the car and drove to the university residence. Since Hugo had taken all of Sara’s clothes and she didn’t want to go all the way to the Villa she ended up wearing Emily’s clothes. Although it was still her usual pullover and pants, Sara didn’t feel comfortable in her friend’s clothes, they were too tight and the pullover had too much cleavage.

She tried to convince Emily to go to the nearest mall for a moment, but she refused and told her that she was fine and looked beautiful. And she wasn’t lying, the clothes fit her body like a second skin, more than beautiful, Sara was sexy, charming, a goddess that captured all the men in her path.

When they arrived at the Local the doorman recognized them this time and let them in, they went to the bar and ordered something to drink. Sara had called a substitute driver so she could drink and enjoy the evening in peace.

Tobias didn’t take long to replace them, his eyes went straight to Sara’s breasts when he saw her and got a good kick from her.

“Ouch” he complained “Don’t hit me, it’s not my fault these melons suddenly appear in front of me. I always thought you were flat. Those clothes you wear hide your attributes well.

“That’s the idea, I don’t like this kind of clothes.”

“But it looks great on you, don’t worry. If you managed to get my attention for sure you’ll get a boyfriend today.” he joked, but Sara wasn’t amused.

“I’m not looking for a boyfriend, we’d better go see and stop talking nonsense.”

They danced laughed and enjoyed themselves for at least two hours. Sara had already had a few drinks when while dancing she felt a boy approaching from behind.

“What do you want?” she confronted him.

“I just want to dance beautiful, you’ve been all alone so much I felt sorry.”

“I’m fine alone, thank you very much for the offer, but I prefer to dance alone.”

“Whatever you say beautiful.” the boy walked away and returned to the bar where he was standing earlier next to a couple.

“I don’t think this job will turn out to be that easy.” he said to the girl at the bar.

“You have to do it, I promised everything would be fine.” she told him taking him tightly by the arm.

“Easy sis.” tried to calm her down the other boy who had a camera hanging around his neck.

“You know no girl is able to resist the charms of our younger brother.”

All three laughed.
