One Year to Part: Passion and Deception -
Chapter 68
Chapter 68:
When Martin tried to take swipes at Hugo, Emily stood in the middle of the two of them.
“Would you stop making a fool of yourself!” she yelled at Martin.
“Hugo just got here and he’s already leaving. Besides, who do you think you are to meddle in my life. Listen to me Bianchi, let this be the first and last time you show up at my house and make a scene.”
When Emily finished speaking she gave Hugo an apologetic look and entered the house slamming the door hard.
Martin stood in silence thinking things over and ran his hands through his hair in frustration, he wanted to say something to Hugo, but Hugo held up his hand preventing him from speaking and then started walking away from him.
Martin knew Hugo well, and knew that when he was angry it was best to be as far away from him as possible, so he chose not to insist and let him go.
In spite of the blow he received early in the morning, Hugo’s mood was pretty good the rest of the day he worked tirelessly advancing all the work he could, while poor Alejandro was running from one side to the other to fulfill his boss’s orders.
Hugo had ordered that everything had to be perfect and if not he asked him to forget about his work because from that day on he would have to clean the bathrooms of the entire building, Alejandro was not happy about this threat, so he had been working all day polishing details so that the plan would be perfect.
It had been five days since the last time Sara received a bouquet of roses or any message from Hugo, she thought she should feel happy, since her husband had finally given up, but the reality was far from that.
Sara was constantly watching her phone waiting for some cloying message that never came, the last days she had started with the preparations of four restaurants plus one of them was out of town so that night she had to take a flight.
Sara and Nadia went together to the airport and boarded the plane, the flight would last only a couple of hours and then when they got off someone would pick them up and take them to the new restaurant. The flight attendants were constantly passing by offering them food and drinks, but Sara had no appetite, on the other hand Nadia was a bit thirsty, so she drank a mango juice and after a few minutes she became very sleepy and fell asleep.
Sara observed her rested companion and did not see anything suspicious, it was normal that Nadia was tired, they had been full of work for many days, so she decided to close her eyes too and try to rest.
She was sound asleep when the plane landed and only heard the voice of one of the stewardesses.

“Yes sir, they are both asleep. You may board.” Sara paid attention to what he said and her sixth sense told her she was in danger, so she opened her eyes a little and made sure she was alone.
She got up from her seat and went to Nadia’s, but no matter how much she moved her and called out to her Nadia didn’t wake up, a few minutes later four sturdy men came in.
One part of Sara’s brain told her to escape but the other one prevented her from leaving Nadia, in the end Sara stayed and fought against the men, she was very good at martial arts, so she could defend herself well, but it was not a fair fight four against one, when she was tired enough one of the men immobilized her and put her on her back, like a sack of potatoes, hanging upside down Sara saw how they carried Nadia and took her away too.
She began to scream and cry for help as loud as she could, but the man carrying her warned her.
“Be quiet if you want to see your friend again.” Sara obeyed out of fear that something would happen to Nadia.
They took her out of the airport through the back door, where a van was waiting for them, Nadia was taken in another car so Sara lost sight of her and began to feel very anxious.
“Who are you? Who hired you? I pay you double what they offered you. No, I pay you 10 times what they gave you for kidnapping you just have to let my friend and me go.”
The man said nothing and Sara felt even more nervous.
“Where are you taking me, was it my family who hired you? Speak the hell up.”
“I’m sorry Mrs. Sara, but I can’t say anything, you’ll replace out soon enough.”
The van stopped and they opened the door for her, Sara saw that she was on another airstrip, but in front of her there was a helicopter. The men pushed her out and forced her to get in.
Half an hour later Sara still saw nothing but water around her, suddenly one of the men approached with a syringe in his hand.
“Sorry ma’am, those are orders.”
Sara tried to defend herself but in vain, soon her eyes closed and she could hear nothing more.
