Chapter 72:

“Look Mr. Moretti last night was a mistake, I think we are adult enough to be able to have sex without major implications and without too much drama, it was fine, we had fun, but that was it.” Hugo was affected by his words, but he didn’t let it show.

“Ok if you say it was a mistake, I respect your decision, but could you clarify which of the five times was the mistake, I’m just not clear on it.”

“You’re an idiot.” Sara bent down and picked up a man’s shoe she had watered and threw it at Hugo, but he quickly dodged it and then got out of bed and walked towards Sara naked.

“Look Sara let’s talk straight, we are two adults who obviously desire each other and have good chemistry in sex, it’s normal for this to happen between us, you don’t have to be embarrassed or say it was a mistake.” Sara looked into his eyes not daring to look down.

“Could you cover up.” she almost begged him.

“Sure.” he replied and with a nimble movement removed the towel covering her and he put it around her waist. She immediately removed the one over her head and covered herself as she ran to the bathroom. Hugo stood there with a triumphant smile.

Two hours later the couple went downstairs for a bite to eat and the restaurant Sara met Nadia, Beatriz, Tobias, Martin and Emily. Hugo had invited them all to celebrate Sara’s birthday and this was his last surprise for her. Sara screamed with excitement when she saw her friends, she couldn’t believe that Hugo had prepared all that for her.

The rest of the afternoon the friends ate, walked, shopped and swam. By ten o’clock everyone was so tired that they retired to their rooms. Hugo was taking a bath when someone knocked at his door, he came out with the towel around his waist and his wet hair dripping water, when he opened the door he found Sara, her cheeks were rosy and her hair fell over her shoulders, she looked gentle and beautiful like an angel.

Hugo wanted to speak but Sara jumped on his arms and put her legs around him and then kissed him, Hugo was completely surprised, he carried Sara to the bed and there he laid her gently while they kissed.

“You’re sure about this.” he managed to say breaking away to eat air.

“I don’t want you to say tomorrow that it’s a mistake.”

Sara kissed him again and then bit her lip.

“I’m sure, just like you said we are adults and we can satisfy each other without the need for so many complications, no relationships, just sex.”

When Hugo heard that he pulled away from her and away from Sara, he ran his hand through his hair in frustration.

“That’s not what I meant Sara, we are husband and wife, how can we not have a relationship or complications.”

Sara got up from the bed and walked slowly and seductively over to him.

“Here’s what I’m offering you.” she whispered in his ear.

“I want us to have sex, lots of sex, but no responsibilities, no formalities.”

Then she took two steps back and removed her sleeping robe revealing a set of red underwear.

“You will know if you Accept or not.”
