Chapter 45: Jeannie Returns Home

I am going home today. Back to my house. I will be happy to be back home. I hugged everyone good buy and called wolf. As he jumped into the car I climbed in and started it. I waved goodbye to everyone before driving out onto the road. I sighed as I pulled into my driveway. I got out shut my door and then opened the back door and let wolf out. We walked up to the porch where I unlocked the door. Once we entered I shut and locked it.

Brandy a prospect yelled. "What?" Jeannie is home. I walked out of the club and crossed the street. I knocked on the door and waited. I opened the door and Brandy threw herself at me. I missed you so much Jeannie. I am so glad you are back home. Come in Brandy. We walked to the kitchen and I poured us both a cup of coffee before sitting down.

So, how was the island? I handed her the pictures. Oh, my god. Those are some handsome men. Ink was there? Ink took over as the head of the family when my godfather died. He handed the reins over to his brother Mark as he wanted to stay with his MC. I thought it was a joke when he showed up at my house dressed in a suit. But when I got to the island and he showed up two weeks before I was to leave I knew it was the truth.

I plan on going back next year for a few months. I had to much fun. We all did. I was able to get over what Rage did to me. The men and women taught me a few things as well. Now, I have let my anger for Rage go. I hope that he will be happy and keep his word to not bother me again. So, Jeannie. Are you dating Ink?

No, I am not dating Ink. I am not dating anyone. Does that make you happy? Not really. I think you need a boyfriend. I have one. Who? My Wolf that's who. That is a wolf not a human. I grinned at her. He might as well be human I said laughing. Jeannie I really missed you. I missed you to Brandy. So, when are you going back to work? I am not going to work at the nursing home yet. I will Linny and see about going back in two weeks. We can't wait to have you back.

Elizabeth, Pam and the patients have missed you as well. Well I am much better and I can't wait to be back. Well, I have to go. I will see you later. I walked Brandy to the door. After she left I shut and locked the door. I walked back to the kitchen and put the cups into the dishwasher. I then walked upstairs to my room where I took a shower and put on a long tee-shirt and shorts.

I walked over and sat on the bed. I picked up my cell phone and called Linny at the nursing home. Yes, I am ready to come back. In two weeks if that will work? I will see you then Linny. Thank you. I really appreciate it. I really enjoyed the vacation but I have missed everyone there. We all missed you to Jeannie. I think I will make them think a new nursing assistance is starting. I want to see the looks on their faces when you walk in the door.

I think that will be funny. I like your idea. Good. We will see you in two weeks. I will be there with bells on Linny. Good-by Linny. I hung the phone up and smiled. It will be good being back to work. I missed the residence and staff. I put my phone on the table and lay down. Wolf jumped up onto the bed and lat at my feet. I soon turned the TV off after the news and closed my eyes.

I woke up to Wolf barking. Alright Wolf, give me a chance to get up. I walked down the stairs following wolf. He was waiting at the back door to be let out which I did. I then made coffee and started breakfast for myself. I ate my breakfast and then rinsed the dishes before putting them in the sink.

I then cleaned the house and took a shower before getting dressed. I wanted to go downtown to the farmers market. I want to get some tomato's, muskmelon, apples to make apple pies, and whatever else looks good. Then I plan on going to some of the second hand stores. I love going to Goodwill.

I let Wolf in and put him out in the garage. That is where is stays when I leave the house for a few hours. I got in my car and headed to town. I had just bought apples and turned around and saw Rage and some of their members sitting at the square. I walked by and just continued to get what I came for. After I got everything I walked back to my car.

I drove over to the Good-Will and found some new uniforms, a few good books, and a really nice dress. I then drove home and unloaded the car. I put everything on the kitchen table and let Wolf out of the garage. I opened the back door and let him out. I then made coffee and grabbed one of the books and walked out onto the back porch and sat down and opened the book.

I was half way threw the book when my doorbell rang. Who the hell could that be I thought. I laid the book on the stand next to the chair before walking into the house. I walked to the door and opened it. I saw a man standing there with flowers in his hands. I took them from him and signed for them. I closed the door and walked back into the kitchen.

I put the flowers in the middle of the table. I then read the card. I smiled and

smelled the roses. They were sent by Eagle and Lisa. The note stated they missed us so much and begged me to move to their MC. I laid the card down and walked out and sat back down.
