Chapter 9: Rages Bedroom

We were going to pick Jeannie up from the hospital today. She was going to sleep in Rage's bedroom until her apartment was finished. That would be in a week or two. As we arrived at the compound Rage walked over to the car and lifted Jeannie out of it. He carried her in and down the hall to his room where he gently lay her on his bed. He liked seeing her lay there. He didn't say anything other than that she will stay with him until her apartment was ready. The girls walked in with some clothes for her and they sat and talked for a while until her eyes grew heavy and she fell asleep. I walked into my bedroom and noticed that Jeannie was asleep. I walked into the bathroom and took a shower. I walked out with a towel wrapped around me and walked over to my dresser. I pulled out a pair of shorts and put them on before climbing into bed. As I lay on my back I noticed she did not move.

I woke up the next morning and looked down at Jeannie laying with her head on my chest. Her right arm across my waist and her right leg thrown over mine. I like it. I like having her this close to me. She must have rolled over in her sleep. I closed my eyes pretending I was asleep as she started to move. When she realized she was laying on me she rolled over on the other side of the bed. I opened my eyes and looked over at her. How are you feeling I asked? Better I said. Sorry you have to share your bed with me I said. I don't mind. You do know that you are the only woman who has been in my bed. Want some breakfast? I shook my head yes. He got out of bed and walked over and took out jeans, a tee shirt and socks then walked into the bathroom. When he came out he said. You can take a shower. The girls put your clothes over on that dresser. I watched as she slowly got out of bed walking to the dresser. She grabbed her clothes then walked into the bathroom.

God, I wish I could claim her as mine. I want this to be for real. But, with what she has gone through right now I know it is not going to happen. She avoids men with a passion. I notice she talks to men but she doesn't get close to them. The only man she has put her arms around willingly is William her cousin. She does not slow dance with any men even when they ask her. She walked out of the bathroom and we headed out of the door and we ran into the dam whore. I heard "what the hell is that whore doing coming out of your bedroom Rage"? None of your business I said. And since when do you question me? You and no other woman has ever been in my room so do not pretend that you have. I took Jeannie's hand and we walked to the kitchen. Elizabeth and Pam greeted us as we walked in.

We finished eating when and were having a good conversation. Steve said that my apartment was being cleaned out and washed down and repaired and I can move in by next week. If not then for sure the following week. I thanked him and he walked out followed by William and Rage.
