Rise of the Crusader
Chapter 107

107 Museum

Two hours passed briefly and once the students completed their first session of the students club meeting, they went their separate ways.

Raphael, Aiden, and Devon had to wait for Bane to return from the profane society, and once he did, the four of them headed to the class on their timetable.

“Good day, everyone, I’m Natalie, and I’m going to be teaching and showing you a hundred basic ways to kill a person and the five most brutal ways to kill a person by torture.”

Natalie is a slender and youthful woman with brown eyes, and black hair. Her eyes were gloomy and very menacing, and she was wearing a baggy gown that hid her well-endowed bosom.

When the twenty-one student heard Natalie, a couple of them raised an eyebrow, and they stared at the surrounding they were in.

From the words that were written on the door, they were in a museum. But unlike other museums that were usually filled with treasures such as antiques, paintings, scriptures, and all sorts of items, this museum, however, didn’t contain any of the details.

Instead, the museum was filled with glass cages of very different sizes and in those cages were corpses. The corpse wasn’t of different species, but the number of humans surpassed the rest.

“Some of the corpses you see here have been in this place for hundreds of years, some are even far above that,” Natalie said. “All this preservation wouldn’t have been possible if it wasn’t for the academy.”

“The cage is created to permanently avoid decomposition of a body after death. So, if any of your relatives or loved ones die, you don’t have to worry about not seeing them again because once they enter these cages, decomposition would never occur.”

.....

“Isn’t that good,” Natalie flashed a light smile at the students as she spoke.

Natalie’s smile was, however, conceived to be creepy and eerie. They stared at her for a few seconds before moving their gaze and staring at the bodies that were in the cage.

“If you’re interested in the cage, you can come to meet me after the class and I will get one for you. Mind you, it’s completely free.” Natalie winked.

“So, now, let’s get down to business,” Natalie blurted. “I’m going to explain the method of death that was used on these people, and if you have any questions and if you have any question, or there’s something you don’t understand, you’re free to ask.”

“The first body I will explain to you is Pamela.”

As Natalie moved toward one of the glass cages in the museum, her voice rang out. She pointed her head at the woman inside and said.

“Pamela was killed by an allergic reaction.”

Inside the glass cage that Natalie was pointing at was a woman with white hair, very pale skin, and reddish eyes. The woman’s eyes were wide open, as she leaned towards the glass cage.

“Her killer spent months studying Pamela, and once the study was completed, he chose to end her in the most desirable way.” A smile hung on Natalie’s face as she spoke about Pamela.

“Pamela had an allergic reaction.”

“It was in fact already considered to be life-threatening, and with a grasshopper placed into her mouth, it caused the reaction to spike and within a few minutes, she suffocated to death.”

The smile on Natalie’s face only widened, she closed her eyes as if she were reminiscing about the event. And a smile that was seen to be sadistic appeared on her.

“Killing can be done in several ways, it doesn’t necessarily have to be through blade, sword, spears, superpowers, it can be done in several beautiful ways.” Natalie muttered, “The world has just been so advanced that we have all forgotten that killing is supposed to be an artwork.”

“Anyway, let’s move on to the next person,” Natalie said as she walked over to the glass cage beside her.

“This is one of my favorites,” A second after Natalie appeared in front of the glass cage, her voice rang out.

And while she had a blissful expression on her face, the same couldn’t be said for others.

How could they have that same expression on their faces, when in front of them was a body split into two? Just like the woman earlier from earlier, the man’s skin had become very pale, but his body was divided into two.

The two bodies were placed side by side with their eye wide open.

“The victim was killed inside an elevator, and to be more precise, his body was also chopped off in the elevator.” Pamela blurted a second after. “I can see the confused and interesting looks on your faces, so I’m going to into more details.”

“He tried to climb out of a stuck elevator, unbeknownst to him someone was monitoring his every moment. And when the right time came, the person turned on the elevator, and the man was sliced into two.”

Pamela turned toward the students and stared at each one of them with her hands folded across her chest. She seized them from head to toe one after the other with her thought unknown.

Even though the student in the division had seen corpses several times, they still found it strange that the academy would choose to adopt this sort of method into persevering them. And to make it even more unusual was that the woman in front of them seemed to take great satisfaction in seeing the corpses.

“When I said the killing was meant to be an artwork, this is what I meant!”

Natalie exclaimed as she stood in front of a glass cage. As she stared at the cage, joy, as well as excitement, was contained in her brown eyes.

“What the hell is that!” Xavier blurted when he saw the person inside the cage.

A disgusted look soon appeared on Xavier’s face, and he wasn’t just the one. Whether it was Xavier or the rest of the students, every one of them stared at the glass, seemingly stupefied.

Inside the cage was an oddly shaped man. The man was stark naked, his upper body was without flesh, leaving only his skeletal frame, while both of his legs were facing the other side.

“You must have heard of the Santos family, the family of the drug baron. This man over here is Gaminto Santos, the head of the Santos family.” Natalie stated.

“It’s with great pride and pleasure to tell you that this man was killed by the academy,” Natalie said. “Do you want to know how?”

While there was no response from any of the students in front of her, Natalie said, “Of course, you would, I can already see the interesting looks on your faces.”

The students were once again left dumbfounded by the way Natalie thought of things. This wasn’t an interesting look, this was what the heck is wrong with you, how can you be excited over situations like this?

“He was killed by tapeworm.” She said.

“Tapeworm,” Raphael mumbled in a low voice.

Though Raphael heard spoken in a soft and low tone, Natalie heard him, and she nodded her head several times at him.

“There was an agreement between the Santos family and the academy a long time ago, but the Santos family chose not to fulfill their end of the bargain, and this led to the dispute between the academy and the family.”

“I’m going to skip all the rest, if you want to look into this, go to the library and read more on this.” Natalie said, “So, anyway, the academy chased down the Santos family for years and when they caught them, we chose to make a masterpiece of them.”

“Some of them were ripped apart by rats, termites, snakes, even deadly toxins, but we will get there. Gaminto was killed by a tapeworm instead. I can still remember, vividly, that about five thousand tapeworms were placed into his mouth.”

“And when the tapeworm was swallowed, they did the jobs they were trained to do. They ate the organs that were present in his body, some also attacked he fleshes, it was a terrible thing Gaminto died quickly.”

“Why was it a terrible thing?”

When one of the students asked Natalie, she shook her head, “The tapeworm lost interest very quickly, it’s why the body is in the sort of shape.”

“The tapeworm should have eaten him completely, and only his skeletal body would be left, but they got bored when there wasn’t any struggle from Gaminto anymore,” Natalie said with a sneer on his face.

“Oh, why are his legs bent that way?” Xavier asked.

“He tried to escape, and that happened,” Natalie responded.

Natalie soon walked over to another glass cage in the museum, “This is also one of my favorites.” Natalia spoke as she got in front of the cage.

Inside the glass cage was a bald woman with a distorted face, some part of her skin was black while others were bright red and also very swollen.

The woman was unrecognizable as her body was swollen and filled with bluster. There were blackened chunks of flesh inside the cage she was in, and with her eyes wide open, she appeared even more frightening.

“The victim was burned alive with a string that was covered in a flammable solvent,” Natalie said.
