Rise of the Crusader
Chapter 237 The Truth II

Raphael took a deep breath after Elisa spoke, he continued to stare at her and after a brief moment, his mouth opened slightly.

The words were about to come out of Raphael's mouth when Elisa intercepted them.

"Wait!" Elisa exclaimed.

"Why did you tell me this now?" Elisa asked as she glared at Raphael.

The expression on her face seemed to be as though she were close to getting the answer, and upon seeing that look, Raphael spoke.

"I didn't want it to come from me." Raphael looked into Elisa's eyes as he spoke.

"Then who did you…" Elisa abruptly paused, her mouth opened wide as she realized what Raphael truly meant by what he said.

She shook her head, refusing to believe any of it.

"Impossible!" Elisa blurted.

However, the look on Raphael's face indicated that the unthinkable had happened.

Elisa collapsed to the bathroom floor, she rubbed her hand across her hair, still replaceing it extremely difficult to believe what she had just been told.

"Y-You…" Elisa stuttered as she wanted to speak. It took a few seconds before she could get a grip of herself, and once she did, she said.

"The person you were attracted to in Dale city was Aurora…"

"My best friend."

Elisa was incapable of controlling herself, and as she thought of what happened between the both of them in the city, tears flowed out of her eyes.

Raphael stared at Elisa, who had tears rushing out of her eyes, while the look on her face showed she was deeply hurt and in pain.

"It makes perfect sense now," Elisa spoke and then bit her lower lips hard.

The pressure at which she placed caused blood to appear on her lips. And as she dug her nails into her palm, it took only seconds, and blood appeared on her palm as well.

"It really does. I trusted you too much that there was a hint of it right in front of him, yet I acted blindly towards it." Said Elisa as tears flowed out of her eyes.

"Good! Very good!"

Elisa suddenly said.

She stood from the floor, and wiping the tears on her face, she walked out of the bathroom.

As Elisa left the room, Raphael didn't chase after her immediately. He lowered his head and clenched his hand into a tight fist.

The bathroom shower continued to pour water on his body, and after a brief moment, Raphael stepped out of the bathroom.

With the towel wrapped around his body, he had only just entered the bedroom for a minute when a loud voice sounded.

Raphael knitted his brows, and even though he wasn't in the living room, he could already tell what was happening there.

"I'm sorry, Elisa."

"It was a mistake."

As Raphael barged out of the bedroom to where the voice was coming from, a stern look emerged on his face.

In the corridor of the mansion, Aurora stood in front of Elisa with tears flowing out of her eyes.

"A-Aurora… Please."

Upon hearing the outcry between Aurora and Elisa, Devon and the others appeared in the corridor quickly, even Aiden was now conscious.

While they were oblivious to the entire story, as they heard the discussion between Elisa and Aurora, it didn't take much to figure out that Elisa was cheated on.

The person who had done the deed was none other than her best friend, Aurora.

Because of the relationship that exists between Aurora and Elisa, as those in the corridor heard what transpired, it caused them to be stupefied.

There was shock written all over their faces, but each one of them had one question on their mind.

"Where is Raphael?"

Everyone wondered where he was as Elisa wanted to leave the mansion. And just as one of them wanted to call for Raphael, his figure slowly appeared in the corridor.

It was all eyes on Raphael after he appeared in the corridor, and after staring at Melinda and the others for a brief moment, he moved his gaze to Aurora and Elisa.

As Raphael saw the bag in Elisa's hand, his eyebrows furrowed.

"You're leaving," Raphael muttered with shock evident in his voice.

"Yes, I am," Elisa responded.

She then glared at Aurora who held her hand, "If you don't take your hands off me, Aurora, I will be forced to make a move on you,"

"And I won't be merciful," Elisa stated.

Aurora gulped. However, she still didn't let go of Elisa's hand.

The look on Elisa's face inferred that she was indeed going to make a move, and just as Elisa wanted to move on to Aurora, Raphael intervened.

"That's enough, Elisa," Raphael said.

Responding to Raphael, Elisa sneered. "You have no right whatsoever to tell me what's right and what it isn't."

"It passed that time already," Elisa added.

"If you will just give me a moment to explain what happened, then you would come to understand why that happened." Aurora's voice rang out a second after Elisa spoke.

"I would come to understand?" There was mockery written all over Elisa's face as she uttered those words.

"Yes," Aurora replied.

"A reason why you chose to sleep with my man!" Elisa blurted.

"There are over seven billion people in the world, Aurora, yet you choose to ignore them all, and the one person you chose to sleep with was my own Raphael." Said Elisa as she glared at Aurora.

" Still, you say, I will come to understand! You must be insane!"

"Elisa, that's enough," Raphael spoke with a stern expression on his face.

However, upon seeing the look on Raphael's face, Elisa chuckled. "And who do you think you are?!"

"Elisa…" Raphael muttered.

"How could you cheat on me with my best friend? How could you have done that to me?" Elisa yelled.

"I never meant to hurt you," said Raphael.

"It doesn't matter because in the end it's just hurt the same," Elisa responded. She cleaned the tears on her face, and tightened her grip on the bag in her hand, she said.

"I don't want to have anything to do with the both of you. So fuck off!" Elisa jerked Aurora's hand away from her body after she spoke.

She wasted no time afterward and began to head towards the exit door.

And while Melinda and Becky chased after her, Raphael only glanced at her for a few seconds before moving his gaze away and heading back to his room.
