Rise Of The Hoarder -
Chapter 128 Taking A Break
“Here! Have your meal!” She barked, glaring at me with her conceited eyes.
An idea sparked in my head, causing me to take the plate from her. However, while I was still receiving it, her hands let go of the plate in order to intentionally spill my lunch on the ground
As I saw her hand slip intentionally, and the wicked grin she had on her face, I couldn’t help but feel amused. The bowl fell in such a slow fashion that it was merely child’s play to catch it easily.
However, I had other plans for it.
“W-whoah!” I pretended to slip forward, using my hand to tilt the plate, causing it to change trajectory.
Instead of falling to the ground, it went straight for Melissa, and instead of settling for merely her dress, my hand pushed the bowl upward, causing the porridge to spill all over her face and drip down her body.
“Arghhhh!!!” She screamed, feeling the hot stuff all over her body.
The creamy, watered-down porridge was all over her, and her mouth opened in screams while feeling the burning tinge of wasted food on her.
A smile formed on my face, as the sight reminded me of something similar, but I couldn’t just display my enjoyment of what happened to Melissa.
“A-are you okay?” I let out, watching her collapse to the ground in recoil.
This drew the attention of many people around, who also saw the sight. The eyes bulged, taking in the bizarre appearance Melissa had with the white stuff all over her. With tension already built up, they gulped a little excitedly, too stunned to actually take action and help her.
“Gahh… Ah… Ahh…” She let out more cries..
I knelt to her side and asked if she was fine once more.
“Get away from me, you freak! Just get the fvck away!” She snapped angrily, quickly taking a rag that lay around to clean the porridge on her body and outfit.
I saw the disappointed looks in everyone’s eyes when she cleaned herself up, as well as the angry expressions they made when Melissa treated me harshly.
“I was just trying to-” I replied to her innocently.
“Are you deaf?! Stay the fvck away from me, you retard!” She shouted, hissing in annoyance.
The public opinion of her plummeted even further as the disapproving scowl of everyone was now evident.
“Tsk. What a bitch.” One of them said.
“I know right? The dude was just trying to help her out…”
“I wouldn’t bother if I were him. I mean, she’s like that anyway…”
The comments of the crowd permeated the atmosphere. Daniel was not present to support Melissa since he had gone with Tasha and the other high-leveled to strategize on the next step.
As a result, Melissa was currently defenseless against the words of the frustrated Subjugation team members.
Her eyes looked around in slight confusion and fear, not liking where the comments were leading to. She stiffened up, trying to control herself from further reacting and making the situation worse. Seeing her slowly break, I leaned closer to her squatting form, drawing my lips close to her ears in a whisper.
“That’s what you get for trying to cross me, Melissa. You can have the food. I don’t care anyway.”
With this statement, her body jolted in fear. I used a little bit of <Rule> to intimidate her, so her body could do nothing but tremble.
Rising from where I knelt, I went my way, leaving her in the mess created by our little accident.
“Did you see that?”
“What do you think he said to her?”
“Probably an apology… he’s a wimp, you know.”
“Look at this. She still didn’t give him any meal.”
I heard the mumblings of the mobs, ignoring them as I made my way to the woods where I could have some peace and quiet. No one bothered stopping me, since they were either busy gossiping or thought it wasn’t worth their effort.
After reaching a considerable distance, I climbed one of the tall trees and sat atop a sturdy branch it had.
I summoned a potato chip and began downing it while ruminating on the next steps to take.
“Status Window” I muttered, mouth full of chips.

[End Of Information]
Many things bothered me about my new Status Information. For example, my (G) Factor had once against reduced. I didn’t have any knowledge of what it was used for, but Stats were meant to increase, so it was unsettling that this one was the exception, especially since I had no recollection of ever using it at any time.
“Huu, there’s so much I don’t know…” I muttered, downing more chips.
I summoned a can of orange juice and drank it to quench my thirst after taking so many salty crisps.
My Karma Points had also increased, so that was so one thing to rejoice about. It wasn’t useful now, but a time was coming when people would wish for just a tiny fraction of what I had.
I had looked at the Status Windows of the other Gifteds of the Camp using Charles’ book, and none of them had Karma Points reaching 100. That was a clear indication that I was way ahead of everyone.
“Good… good. Now, I should start planning the next step.”
After finishing the light snack I had, I decided to focus more on pertinent matters. Since I had three empty Skill slots, and the capacity to get more in the future, it was time to learn a good Skill.
“<Summon>.”
