After a brief moment of silence, Steveren finally came to a conclusion about a possible proposal.

"If what you have said is true, and I trust that it is, the Kingdom of Tretidian is indeed at a crossroads and this becomes a matter of the utmost importance, not only for our kingdoms, but for the entire continent of Midgard. The threat posed by The Eye of Hermodr is real and dangerous like no other, and our inability to join forces may cost us more than we can imagine."

He rose from his chair at the head of the dining table, his red cloak flowing behind him, and his eyes fixed on Xisrith for a moment before turning to Kaizen, and then finally to the butler.

"Petril, you've dealt with issues of security and strategy for years, what's your opinion on all this?" asked the King, seeking the trusted man's perspective.

Steveren's words echoed through the dining hall.

The butler, Petril Wyvernjack, stepped forward, maintaining the composure and seriousness that were his hallmarks. He looked directly at the King, his posture reflecting the gravity of the situation.

"Your Majesty, the signs are clear and undeniable. The threat from The Eye of Hermodr is a reality that we cannot ignore. If they are acting aggressively even in calm times, their determination to create chaos is unwavering. Forming an alliance between our kingdoms, especially with the descendragons and their unique abilities, would significantly increase our chances of defense and protection, as well as decreasing the possibilities available for the Eye of Hermodr to act."

The butler paused, allowing his words to take root in the minds of everyone present. The room was enveloped in silence, everyone pondering the complex situation that was unfolding before them.

Steveren Spelloyal nodded slowly, absorbing the butler's words. His expression was determined, and his voice contained a trace of resolution when he finally spoke.

"Then it is decided," declared King Steveren. "We will explore the possibility of an alliance between Tretidian, Vrikhodour and the nomadic Drakenvale Village to confront the threat of The Eye of Hermodr and avoid a war. The situation is too serious to allow divisions. We must unite for the sake of Midgard and our kingdoms."

The word "alliance" hung in the air like an echo of shared intentions. Xisrith felt a knot fall apart in her chest, replaced by a feeling of renewed hope. She looked around the table and saw determined faces, united by a purpose greater than their past differences.

Kaizen, next to her, nodded approvingly. "An alliance between the kingdoms will strengthen our resistance against The Eye of Hermodr. That's what we wanted."

Steveren then turned his gaze to Xisrith and his eyes met hers in a moment of mutual understanding. "Xisrith, as a descendragon and knight of Drakenvale, you will play a key role in this alliance. Your skills and experience will be invaluable to our efforts."

Xisrith nodded solemnly, feeling the weight of responsibility on her shoulders, but also the determination to make a difference. "I'm ready to do whatever it takes. Together, we are stronger."

The butler, Petril, then intervened again, his voice laden with a wisdom acquired over years of loyal service. "We must lay a solid foundation for our alliance. Diplomatic meetings, exchanges of strategic information and collaboration in the areas of defense and resources will be essential. With your permission, Your Majesty, I will look for a good messenger immediately."

Steveren stretched his right hand forward and said:

"In fact, why would we look for someone ideal when we have someone perfect in front of us, Petril?" He said and looked at Xisrith.

A look of surprise spread among those present. Xisrith felt momentarily stunned, unable to believe the words she had heard. Being a messenger for the alliance between two kingdoms was a responsibility of great magnitude, and she wasn't sure if she was prepared for such a task. However, when she met King Steveren's gaze, she realized the trust he placed in her, and besides, the rewards of the mission window that appeared for her were really too good to turn down.

"Your Majesty, I... I am honored by your trust," said Xisrith in a voice that betrayed her gratitude. "I accept this responsibility with the seriousness it deserves. I will be the messenger who will try to form this possible alliance.

A subtle smile curved Steveren's lips as he nodded, expressing his silent approval. It was as if, at that moment, the trust placed in Xisrith was a tangible symbol of reconciliation between the kingdoms.

Kaizen bowed his head in respect. "Xisrith, I'm sure you'll accomplish this task with great success."

The steward, Petril, expressed his support with a nod. "I'll be on hand to help you with anything you need, Xisrith. Teleportation crystals will be available in abundance for you to travel more smoothly."

With the formalities settled, the atmosphere in the room was filled with a new energy. It was as if destiny itself was being woven at that moment, and divided kingdoms were uniting for a common goal. Everyone shared a silent understanding that the road ahead would be challenging, but that together, they would be able to overcome any obstacle.

Steveren Spelloyal gestured with his hand, inviting everyone to come forward. "Let's drink to this new alliance and to the future of Midgard."

"Yes!"

The crystal glasses clinked in unison, echoing through the hall as everyone took their glass. The glow of the candles danced on the polished surfaces of the china and goblets, reflecting the hope and determination of those seated at the table.
