Chapter 306 Ice Cream Pancake

The Ancient’s shock was two-fold.

First and foremost, how the heck did that hole come about? She was within her Ancient Anomaly, and EVERY single thing within it below Ancient level was under her control! The energy required to create that hole on her chest should not even be able to form into an attack at all, much less launch itself at her!

And secondly, what sort of ungodly energy was that? It was even able to create a hole in her Ancient grade body which was supposedly completely invulnerable to any attack below Ancient level…

Ridiculous!

Very, very ridiculous!

“Could it be… That you’re a Dragon Controller?” The Ancient gasped lightly in surprise as a thought struck her like a lightning bolt.

Still completely invisible within the Ancient Anomaly, Elliot couldn’t help but frown lightly at the Ancient’s words.

It was the second time he had heard the phrase “Dragon Controller”. The first time was during the fight with Divine Fighter, the Disciple from Fortune Hermit Mountain.

Elliot’s dragon energy had just awakened at that moment, and was unleashing its powerful aura which strengthened Elliot’s allies and weakened his enemies very significantly.

Its incredible power, which allowed Elliot’s beasts to kill Divine Fighter’s summoned units very easily like slaughtering sitting ducks, had surprised everyone there, especially Divine Fighter.

Divine Fighter had immediately tried to concede the battle the moment he suspected that Elliot was a “Dragon Controller”. He even claimed that they were allies!

And now, this strange undead was saying the same thing about his ability to manipulate energy within her Ancient Anomaly.

It was very, very interesting indeed.

What exactly was a Dragon Controller? And more importantly, can he make them into Beast Apostles?

“A Dragon Controller actually dares to appear here in the middle of a resource grab? Courting death!” The Ancient’s surprise turned into a full blown sneer.

“Let me teach you some manners, alien dog. Our universe isn’t full of pushovers that you could bully with your barbaric skills!

Powerful as you are, it would take you a million years to kill me with that level of strength. I, Ancient Mayat, will rip you into pieces! Eat this attack of mine.

Undead Soul Extinction!”

Elliot ignored her and immediately entered into the opening stance of Movement Twenty One, Stage one. He didn’t believe that he would take that long to break the damned Ancient down into little atoms. He would give it everything he had to put her words to the test!

However, at that moment, Gilgamar’s voice rang out in his mind.

“As long as you have your armor on, you’re completely impervious to soul damage. Why don’t we use this opportunity to train up some new movements? It’ll be some time till you’re able to kill her anyway.”

Elliot brightened up considerably at Gilgamar’s suggestion.

“Excellent idea, old man. Let’s do that!” He immediately agreed.

“Good. This is Stage Three, Pillars of Judgement. Watch closely…”

And so, Elliot and Ancient Mayat began their dance that would, beyond Elliot’s wildest expectations, last a very, very long time!

“Ancient Anomaly?! He actually met with an Ancient who knows Ancient Anomaly? How long has it been? What do we do now?” Jessica Sands cried out in horror.

Jessica Sands had been closeted in her special research dimension to focus on her work, and had missed out three full days of action!

“It has only been two days. Don’t worry though, before he got trapped in it, he actually got his hands on a completed Teardrop of the Gods armor which Lady Balastiera, our most powerful Forge Mistress, had personally made. He should be completely immune to the Ancient’s attack. And with the Ring of Absolute Stealth on him, there is no way that the Ancient would be able to capture him, even within the Ancient Anomaly.” Jul’Taras tried to calm Jessica Sands down.

“Have you tried the Void Communicator? Can it pierce through the Ancient Anomaly?” Jessica Sands pressed on.

“Of course we tried it. It didn’t work.” Jul’Taras said with a sigh.

“Let me try it.” Jessica Sands said.

She grabbed the Void Communicator from Jul’Taras hand and immediately started tinkering with it furiously.

“I’ve triple checked to make sure that it’s on the most powerful setting.” Jul’Taras told her.

“I’m making an upgrade using the new ah, Chilly Pancakes I managed to finish recently. It should make it into an absolute communicator which would be able to pierce through even Primal Prisms, much less Ancient Anomalies.” Jessica muttered in reply.

Jul’Taras blinked.

Did Jessica Sands just make another breakthrough of the millenium just like that?

She turned to Monkey King, who merely smiled at her and nodded.

“Ah, by the way, Jess. How many ah, Chilly Pancakes have you completed?” Jul’Taras asked carefully.

“I’ve actually made excellent progress! Excellent! I found a foundational concept which allows me to actually extrapolate many other concepts and upgrade them into… advanced concepts. In fact, I think I have stumbled upon something monumental. Something that would even enhance amd combine all Chilly Pancakes into a… Uh.” Jessica Sands frowned lightly as she struggled to choose an appropriate word.

“Ice Cream Pancake! Wahahaha yes! The biggest, fattest, creamiest, iciest ice cream pancake you will ever see!” Jessica Sands laughed brightly as she quickly wrapped up her tinkering of the Void Communicator.

“What do you mean Ice Cream Pancake?” Jul’Taras demanded.

“Huh? I meant pancake with ice cream on top, of course. What else could I be talking about, silly? Heh heh heh!” Jessica Sands blinked innocently at Aunt Hills who was hovering near them.

Aunt Hills merely sighed and chose to remain silent.

How such a naive little girl could be the smartest life form in the entire known universe was completely beyond her.

“You mean, you’re combining all the Chilly Pancakes into an Ice Cream Pancake?” Jul’Taras asked.

“Ahhahaha, as strange as it sounds, my new recipe could really do that! I understand that Chilly Pancakes are salty, and would make terrible, terrible Ice Cream Pancakes! But I managed to do it.” Jessica Sands said proudly.
