389 The most wonderful pair of...
It completely disregarded the danger posed by the strange ball of energy, and instead saw it as a competitor for its food which was the dying Blytoros.
Its many tentacles, all of them still burning steadily with the nearly unquenchable violet flames, shot out and wrapped themselves around Blytoros's five limbs as well as around the strange ball.
Once in position, it pried open the strange ball's grip on Blytoros' body and with a triumphant scream, it flung it away from its prey.
Helplessly, the strange ball disappeared into the darkness of the Shadow Realm.
And then Octopus Banshee started to squeeze and suck all of the dying God's spiritual force.
The ten Elliots stood silently somewhere behind the Octopus Banshee with ten combined Cosmic Dragon Energy shields firmly in place to barely resist the nuclear explosion. They were waiting for Blytoros to die before making a move on the disgusting octopus.
However, the real Elliot frowned as he watched the Octopus Banshee God slowly get stronger as it drained Blytoros of his massive spiritual force.
"You cannot let the Banshee God consume Blytoros. It will become extremely troublesome after that." Elise Sands said seriously.
"I understand." Elliot said.
As one, all ten Elliots raised both their hands and started to weave a strange spell.
WHOOSHH!!!
A dark purple flame, much more ominous than the violet flame that was burning on the Octopus Banshee God, appeared all around the ten Elliots.
Elise Sands stared at the dark purple flame numbly.
Although she had expected it, seeing it in reality was still extremely shocking.
Spiritual Fire. And judging by the shade of its colour, it had also achieved something which Blytoros and his violet flames tried to but failed.
Everburning Spiritual Fire.
As the seconds ticked by, the screams of Blytoros, God of Tricks, started to grow weaker while the excited shrieks of the Octopus Banshee started to grow louder. Behind the Octopus Banshee, ten ominously burning Elliots also started to increase in their burning intensity.
"So you're using your own clones as a source for your Everburning Spiritual Fire." Elise Sands managed to comment.
"Ah, yes. Hahaha! I didn't have much time to learn how to separate the spirit of the clone and then turn it into an incendiary projectile. If I could have another week or two-" Elliot started to laugh sheepishly and explain why he "failed".
Elise Sands wouldn't have any of it.
"No, shut up. Being able to generate Spirit Fire is already a monumental achievement that none could do. You don't have to explain why it isn't perfect. It is already a god-damned miracle!" Elise Sands grumbled.
"Miracle? How so? It's nothing much, really. If you want to, I can teach you." Elliot offered generously.
"But maybe later. I'm ready to kill that disgusting octopus." Elliot said as his face turned serious and excited at the same time.
Every inventor would be excited to see the effect of his creation for the first time. And it was doubly true for Elliot who would see his creation take effect in the grandest stage of all - the slaying of a God.
Like ten shooting stars, the ten Elliots shot towards the unsuspecting Octopus Banshee which was still greedily devouring Blytoros.
All ten of them found their marks effortlessly due to their small sizes and the Octopus Banshee's ultra humongous body.
Like ten napalm-filled containers crashing onto their targets, the ten Elliots exploded in huge fiery displays and started to burn the Octopus Banshee fiercely.
Surprisingly, the Octopus Banshee was extremely susceptible to the burning flames of the ten Elliots!
Crackle! Crackle! Crackle!
The dark purple flames quickly spread throughout her body and then surged into its body through every single available pore.
Within seconds, all that's left of the Octopus Banshee which was triumphantly guzzling on Blytoros and his dying form was ash-like clouds floating in the area where it was.
"Whoaaa!! That escalated very, very quickly!" Elliot shouted in wide-eyed shock.
Never, in the entire history of the entire Multiverse, had a God level being died so quickly!
Gods had incredible life force, and burning it to away would take a very, very long time.
Even Blytoros under the combined might of ten saint-triggered nuclear explosions, didn't die immediately!
For the Octopus Banshee to disappear into nothing more than ash within a few quick seconds was mind boggling, to say the least.
"Wherever that Ascendant Rune came from, it is an energy type that directly opposes whatever power is working behind the scenes in that Realm of Banshees." Elise Sands eyes shined with pleasant surprise and a huge amount of glee as she looked at Elliot.
She looked exactly like a miserly old grandma realizing that the new cane she got from a friend was actually made of diamond and would be perfect to spank the bunch of irritating cats and dogs that had been hounding her pet ducks!"Elliot. You are definitely the secret love child of Fate and Lady Luck. With you on our side, the safety of our universe is assured. I have decided that I agree to your marriage with little Jessica, my beloved Great Grand Daughter. I will pick a date for your marriage, make sure you give me lots of great, great grandchildren soon!!" Elise Sands announced loudly as though she was bestowing an unimaginable favor upon Elliot.
"I am not going to get married to anyone I do not love. Don't bother scheming and doing all those things grandmas do, old woman." Elliot merely rolled his eyes at Elise Sands.
"Love can develop over time. Don't worry, although Jessica's body looks like a little girl, she's actually merely taking the form that she likes. Her real body is much more mature and much more... ehem. You men would definitely go crazy over her real form. She has got the most wonderful pair of-"
"Where did the strange Wild Energy life form go?" Elliot interrupted Elise Sands hastily before she could go into too much graphic detail.
