Talent Swallowing System
Chapter 578 First Floor: Cleared

'Ding,

The host has received 12 x 0.01 units of God Energy.

'Huh? Killing these Devil Fishes gives me God Energy?'

Just as Leo was about to continue his punching session with the Devil Fishes, he was pleasantly surprised by the sudden system notification.

Even though it was only 0.01 unit of God Energy for a single devil fish, it was a huge gain for Leo who only needed five more units of God Energy to unlock the God Space.

Until now, Leo's only source of God Energy was from refining the remnant spirits of Gods; however, after they learned about his trump card, Gods started recalling their remnant spirits as soon as they released one of their attacks.

Therefore, Leo decided to execute the plan that he had prepared to protect himself and at the same time refine as many remnant spirits as possible during that time to unlock the God Space.

However, to his surprise, Leo could unlock his God Space in the God Tower much sooner than he had expected.

'There are around 100 devil fishes, even though killing them won't provide me with enough units of God Energy to unlock the God Space, it is still the first floor of the God Tower. If my guess is correct, I can gain more units of the God Energy on the next floor of the God Tower.'

There were times when he got only no God Energy from refining the remnant spirits of the Gods.

From this, Leo could say that it was not easy to gain God Energy. So, he was happy to replace an alternate source to collect God Energy.

'The only problem is I need to enter the God Tower more frequently and it will be possible only if I become an Elite Challenger.'

Leo's determination to clear the first 10 floors of the God Tower became stronger when he realized the benefit of killing the creatures inside the God Tower.

'Anyway, I should kill them before my [Nether Rage Booster]'s two-minute time limit is completed.'

If it was before, Leo would have taken it slow and easy; however, right now, he doesn't have the talent [Pain Tolernace] and he could not even heal his injuries until he filled his [Nether Rage Booster].

Therefore, Leo wanted to kill all the devil fishes in a single go as he didn't want to go through the same pain from earlier to fill the [Nether Rage Booster].

'Puchi'

'Whoosh'

Leo started punching the incoming devil fishes, making them float on the surface of the water with their stomachs facing towards the sky.

The system notifications regarding the killing of the devil fishes and receiving the God Energy kept resounding in his head; however, Leo was focused on the killing as he was running short on time.

Time continued to pass as Leo's speed at punching the Devil Fishes increased as he successfully killed all of them before his [Nether Rage Booster]'s effect disappeared.

'Killing all these devil fishes got me one unit of God Energy.'

Leo checked the increase in the God Energy in his possession as he muttered, 'I only need four more units of God Energy before unlocking the God Space.'

According to the system, unlocking the God Space has a lot of benefits and just thinking of unlocking it gave him goosebumps.

'I killed all the Devil Fishes, right? Or are there still some left?'

After checking his gains, Leo checked for the Devil Fishes that he might have missed killing them.

Leo was already confident that he had killed all the Devil Fishes because for some reason all the devil fishes were rushing towards him as though he was some kind of delicious thing.

Because of this reason, Leo was able to kill them all in a single go as he just had to throw the punches at the incoming beasts.

Nevertheless, since there was no response from the [Heaven's Voice] regarding the clearance of the floor, Leo became alert as he dived underwater to see for any remaining devil fishes.

[Congratulations to the challenger for successfully killing all the Devil Fishes]

As Leo was searching for the devil fishes, he finally heard the [Heaven's Voice], making him heave a sigh of relief.

'Finally, there are no surprises for the first floor.'

Even though Leo was able to easily kill the 100 devil fishes, he didn't forget that it was still on the first floor of the God Tower.

To fill the [Nether Rage Booster], he nearly died and if there were peak legendary grade devil fishes, Leo would have died before he could trigger the [Nether Rage Booster].

'I need to increase my cultivation as soon as possible. If not for my level 5 legend-grade cultivation, I would have definitely not endured the attacks from those devil fishes.'

Leo made a mental note regarding his cultivation and waited for his reward from [Heaven's Voice].

[Since the challenger has cleared the first floor of the God Tower, you are entitled to a reward]

[The challenger's age is less than a quarter of the lifespan of his race. Since it is rare for someone from your race to have the strength to clear the first floor of God Tower at such a young age, the Heavens will increase your reward]

[Please wait in your resting room while your reward is readied]

[Otherwise, the challenger can skip the reward and resting room to continue his challenges inside the God Tower. If the reward is skipped now when the challenger clears the next floor, the skipped reward will be added to the next floor's reward]

There were a series of announcements from Heaven's Voice, giving Leo another pleasant surprise.

'I have already decided what to do, there is nothing to think about.'

Without thinking much, Leo gave his reply to [Heaven's Voice] regarding his decision for what he was going to choose.
