Sherry lifted her head, her heart startled the moment her eyes met someone.

The atmosphere felt tense. The noisy crowd was suddenly silent as not a single person spoke anything.

William began to feel her burning gaze, but pretended not to give her a glance. As she turned off Night Street, they came to a quiet road with trees.

“Dan, why aren’t you asleep yet?”. Sherry glanced at the clock on the wall that pointed to 12 o’clock at night. The computer in the living room was still on.

She felt warm and satisfied, but sad at the same time. “Dan, your mommy is an adult. Mommy can take care of Dan.”
