Aion trained hard and decided to obtain the sniper class. He believed that it would grant him a lot of firepower without costing him too much stamina. Besides, while Aion didn't have to hide his magic power anymore, it would be better not to reveal himself whenever possible. At least not at the beginning of the fights.

Speaking of fights, people were finally starting to talk with him while he was invited to those parties. The other day, he ended up selling a large number of gems to the family of a guy that he talked to last month. Things were finally improving again…

After returning late on the previous night because of a party like those, Aion had a hard time getting up early. Still, he fought and won the battle against his sloth and then headed to the garden to train. At first, nothing happened, but then he noticed the sound of his guards arguing with someone. Aion sighed… it wasn't even time for breakfast, and someone was already bothering him. That was a first.

"What is going on here?" Aion approached and then asked.

"My lord, this man was demanding an audience with you. We told them that it was too early, but…" one of the guards replied.

Aion found an arrogant-looking black-haired guy looking at him with a confident smile. He certainly looked a bit strong, and he also had two swords that emitted some magic from them. Still, the thing that caught most of Aion's attention was the fact that the guy had the most punchable face he had seen… with that in mind, Aion wondered how he looked so confident. He seemed to be an adventurer in his early twenties, so Aion could guess what he wanted.

"Aion Kresnik, I challenge you to a duel," The dual sword wielder said.

After that, the guy proceeded to tell his name and tell his life as well. Aion ignored that, but it seemed that he made some fame in the previous war and got carried away. For the past year, he moved around, challenging people in the guilds he found, and remained undefeated. Aion wondered why the guild masters didn't kick the ass of this clown.

"... I am a busy person, so I can't accept the duel unless there is something for me," Aion said and then made a spear in his hands. "Let's bet our weapons on this if you want to fight."

"That is what I wanted to hear," the dual wielder said.

Aion decided not to kill the guy. Dirtying his hands with blood so early in the morning would make Aion feel bad during breakfast. Besides, he could use that chance to do business and lure fools who didn't think that his fame preceded him.

Aion invited the moron to the garden and then readied himself. All of a sudden, that guy just charged and then Swung his right sword at Aion's neck. He was a bit fast, but not enough. Aion easily blocked the strike with the body of his spear, but then the guy used the other sword and thrust at Aion's face, pushing the other weapon away and moving his weapon to block the other.

The fighting style of that guy was a bit rough, probably self-taught and developed through duels and battles. Aion couldn't imagine it working on monsters since they didn't have much weight behind them. Whenever they touched Aion's weapon, they would glow red and emit heat. Most ordinary weapons would melt, but Aion's wasn't ordinary.

After a few exchanges, the guy began to frown. Aion wasn't struggling, and his weapon didn't get any damage. When he got impatient, Aion used Quick Spear and then landed two hits on that guy's stomach and then one on his chin… with the butt of the spear… he passed out instantly.

"Yet another great replace," Aion smirked while he was taking the swords from the hands of the unconscious moron.

"What are you doing to our visitor?" Artemisia asked.

Artemisia looked pissed, and that was a first. She usually wakes up feeling full of life. Still, that was only to be expected after seeing her son apparently stealing from an unconscious man.

*It was the agreement of the duel, mom," Aion said. "If I let everyone challenge me for free, this will never end. Besides, I went easy on him."

"If you say so…" Artemisia said. "At least let him rest in the shade since this morning is already too hot."

"Yes, ma'am," Aion said.

In the end, Aion lets the guy rest in the shade on the outside of the wall of his mansion. Soon, Aion ended up forgetting about that since he received a letter from his father… the king had passed away. One didn't have to be a genius that things were about to change a lot in the kingdom... Aion also was worried about that. While he never talked with the king, he more or less had an agreement with him...
