Once the girls had finished laughing at Aleena Kiron's confession, the mood had lightened considerably.

This allowed the rest to feel at ease which gave them the confidence to express their thoughts as well.

The other two girls of the Jorbin family disclosed that they had never truly given this matter much thought and thus had no one they liked as of now.

Rika Kiron went next and repeated the same statement, adding that she would let them know if there was someone on her mind in the future.

The girl who gained their attention next was Jasmine, the eldest daughter of the Carter family who was shy at first but under their curious gazes, confessed that she liked the heir of the Yona family.

Cecily had known about this matter but still felt uncomfortable when the other girls were wishing Jasmine luck for her future endeavors.

Since everyone already knew about Cecily's crush, they did not focus on her but moved on to Elna who was seated next to her.

"I do not have anyone in mind." She declared with her chin held high.

However, a few of the girls who had been present when she had spilled her thoughts in the past were unwilling to believe her words.

"She doesn't wish to reveal her thoughts before the Princess," Aleena whispered in Yvonne's ears before she scoffed and went back to sitting straight.

She had already disclosed this piece of information to the younger girl so she knew that even if she did not elaborate her thoughts, Yvonne would comprehend her anyway.

Aleena was right to think this way as the other person had indeed understood why she had said so.

From the gossip she had heard, Yvonne knew that Elna seemed to have tender feelings for the Prince who would later become the only Grand Duke of this Kingdom.

She had no idea where and how Elna could have encountered the Prince which led her to feel this way about him.

However, noticing the stern look on her face right now, Yvonne deduced that Elna had no intentions of revealing this information to them.

'At least not before the Princess.' She added in her heart because she had surely heard Elna discussing the Prince's matters in the Tanner tea party with Cecily and Jasmine.

This meant that while Elna was vocal about her feelings for the Prince, she only did so in the presence of people she was close to.

Thus after her cold response, the atmosphere turned awkward for a moment.

However, Rika did not want the Princess's tea party to become dull again so she decided to question someone else about the topic they had been discussing.

Silvia Zavanth was the one she turned to and everyone was now curious to know about the boy who could make her cheeks turn this bright red in color.

'Brother Taylor.' Yvonne was already well aware of the person's identity even before Silvia could utter that name.

She had witnessed how Silvia's cheeks would turn red and she would not even dare to look straight at Taylor each time he was nearby.

This was enough evidence she needed to make this deduction and she was sure that she was right.

However, she waited to hear those words coming from her pen pal herself.

"Um… He… He is a wonderful person and I only hope that he lives well." Silvia muttered amidst the curious gazes of everyone around her.

She was self-aware of her identity, knowing full well that it was quite impossible for her, a Viscount's daughter, to even dream of marrying the Duke's son.

There was too much of a gap between their statuses and someone like Taylor would be better off with either a Duke or a Marquess's child instead.

Yvonne frowned when she saw the despondent light flashing across Silvia's eyes before she lowered her head.

Others assumed that she was shy and could not reveal the name of the boy she liked, however, only one person noticed the strange sadness that had now surrounded her.

'What's troubling her?' She wondered as she could not fathom what was going through Silvia's mind right now.

While Yvonne, in her previous world, had been brought up in a prestigious and aristocratic family, her grandfather never truly believed that a person's worth depended on their background.

He had taught her that a person's worth was to be judged based on their capabilities rather than what they had received through their births.

Even those who were born into rich and aristocratic families could turn out to be worthless if they did not have the capability to excel in their field of occupation.

To Yvonne, being born in a prestigious family was due to their good luck but their worth as a person was solely dependent on whether they were capable in whatever they chose to become in their lives.

This was also why she had no problem with making Jax her right-hand man when everyone else around her was against it after learning about his lowly status.

She had felt that he was someone who could be of use to her and chose him to work under her, disregarding this past which he promised to leave behind him.

For these reasons, Yvonne's mind could not decipher what must have caused Silvia's smile to fade once she was done speaking.

However, if she were to hear those thoughts later, she would surely roll her eyes at her friend's way of thinking.

Right now, she had no idea but could not inquire about the same as they were around so many people.

'Later.' She decided and turned her attention towards the next person who was being interrogated right now.

Fiona Carter shook her head as she had never thought of this matter while Isadora chuckled, stating that she was too young for this question.

However, something odd happened when this same question was tossed towards Mae Blaise who was seated next to Cecily Yona.

Mae blushed when she was at the center of their attention but chose not to disclose the name of the person she seemed to like.

Since they heard no answer from her, they turned away and hence missed the look on her face at that very second.

'Huh?' Yvonne, who was looking somewhere else, turned in a certain direction when she found a sinister glare being aimed at her.

Training relentlessly had done wonders to her perceptiveness, heightening her senses.

Therefore, when she felt the glare that was filled with hatred being directed towards her, she was quick to turn and take a look at who it was.

Thanks to her quick response, Mae Blaise, who was glaring at her when no one was looking, was caught by surprise.

Seeing that she had been caught, she no longer concealed her disgust and glared without looking away.

Yvonne tilted her head as she had never done anything to offend the other person and the two had almost zero contact with each other today as well.

However, the hostility she was facing made it clear that Mae had a grudge against her which she could not explain no matter how she saw it.

Without backing down, she raised her brow while not breaking eye contact with the other child when everyone's attention was on Glennise Brodie who was beside the Princess.

Even Aleena who was right next to her did not notice the silent confrontation between the two girls at this table.

"Bitch" Yvonne widened her eyes when she read the lips of the other person, uttering this word meant for her.
