Unlimited Power 02 - The Ranger's Domain -
Chapter 750 - Result
Congratulations! The skill Poison Resistance has leveled up.
When Ryan's health dropped to five percent, he used Full-Heal and Purification. Once his body returned to normal, he took deep breaths. While he was only fooling himself that he was going to endure that situation again, in the end, Ryan needed at least that much preparation.
When Ryan activated Memory Manipulation, his mind returned to the moment where the poison bothered him the most. In the end, he felt the same pain, the same discomfort, and the same shivers. He only let the skill active for a second and then confirmed if his natural body was fine. There was no damage… aside from the one caused by the real attacks.

…
"It works… much better than I imagined," Ryan said after a long sigh.
In the end, Ryan confirmed that it wasn't that surprising that the skill would be that effective. After all, his body was sweating cold again… even though he didn't suffer the same amount of damage as before. Ryan activated the skill again, and he already noticed a difference… the memory was less intense. It was weird, but since his Poison Resistance leveled up, the power of that memory decreased. Since that was the case, the skill also began to level up slower than before.
Soon enough, the dungeon's interior was already too packed for Ryan in his giant form and for the hundreds of chimeras. Still, there wasn't much he could do. Letting the creatures leave the dungeon would make the other dungeon masters stay alert. After all, two dungeons couldn't be in the same place. The only way for a low-level type of monster to show up in a dungeon is to defeat the previous dungeon master and reset the level of the dungeon.
After much thinking, Ryan realized that just killing the chimeras would be too much of a waste. The dragons would need the strength every single of one could give them, after all. So, he just created a massive underground shelter where he, in his draconic form, and thousands of chimeras could stay hidden. It was pretty deep underground, so Ryan was confident that no one will feel his presence.
At the end of the first day, the chimeras reached level one hundred… considering that Ryan's frozen slimes only reached the same level after weeks. One could say that it was pretty good progress, but he wasn't satisfied. Unfortunately, when he contacted the dragon that was managing that domain, he confirmed that he didn't have coins to summon enough chimeras if Ryan were to cause a dungeon break. In fact, the possibility of using the chimeras as a good wasn't the only thing he considered, but also the ratio of coins that he needed to use to summon a single chimera and the income of the other dungeons granted him.
Even with all their power, the chimeras were bound to run out of mana at some point, and that would decrease their leveling up speed. So, Ryan changed his tactics again. Instead of using Ruby Arrows, he used Support Mana Arrows to restore the mana of the chimeras. Thanks to that and the fact that he was in his draconic form, the chimeras reached level 230 at the end of the second day.
"Well, this is some progress…" Ryan said. "Still, it can be improved."
The fastest way to help the two thousand chimeras would be by using mana potions. Still, Ryan won't use his precious stock of potions to help an army that wouldn't obey him. Using coins was out of the question as well. Still, Ryan wanted to make the monsters reach at level four hundred before he leaves. In the end, Ryan had the idea of using Skill Bestowal. He didn't have the chance to test it with his monsters or even the summoned ones since he had been too busy as of late, but that seemed a good time to check that skill.
After a while, Ryan confirmed a few things… if he gives a skill to a single monster of that dungeon, all the other monsters will obtain the skill. Thanks to that, Ryan couldn't help but wonder… was it really the monsters who were learning something? Or was the crystal that absorbed the knowledge gained by them?
Regardless, Ryan gave the monsters some passive skills that increased their status, mainly recovery, because even in his draconic form, it was hard for Ryan to share his mana with more than two thousand monsters. At first, there wasn't much difference, but their status increased quite a bit, and almost at the same time, the creatures leveled up.
Things could have been even better than Ryan wanted if he had taught the Chimeras some special skills. Still, then again, he didn't want to help all that much an army of monsters that wouldn't obey him. Once the seventy-two hours passed, the chimeras reached level 405. If the other dungeon masters could have used that tactic on Earth… just thinking about it made Ryan feel shivers.
"I guess I have to pick Femradiel," Ryan said. "Knowing her, she will use every second available to win this competition."
Although Ryan had to endure poison on his body for three days straight, he was pretty calm and feeling great. After all, his Poison Resistance reached a crazy level as well… level two hundred. Weirdly enough, that was his highest-level skill.
Without wasting any more time, Ryan proceeded to pick up Femradiel. Although he didn't want to admit it, he hurried in order not to lose the competition. That kind of thing was a pretty nice change of pace, considering that all the competitions Ryan had in the last year put his life on the line. Regardless, when he finally found her, Ryan sighed and then looked to the sky… he tried pretty hard to win, but it seemed that Femradiel tried harder.
